Blanca got out of the car. When she looked up at the glorious shopping mall, she was worried about not having enough money. Matthew had given her a bankcard last time but she had no intention of using his money.

While Blanca was standing in front of the door in hesitation, Matthew had walked in.

“Hey, wait for me!” Blanca hurried to follow and they went in a high-end store. “Pick out some clothes for her,” said Matthew briefly.

“Yes, sir.” A salesgirl said courteously and walked towards Blanca. “Hello, ma’am! What can I do for you? You can find all sort of clothes in our store. Can I ask what is it that you need exactly?” the salesgirl asked with a smile.

“Some kind of business suit.” Blanca answered and smiled at her sweetly.

The salesgirl nodded and turned away. Before long, she passed Blanca some clothes and led the way to the fitting room. When she went in, she heaved a great sigh of relief. Then she read a price tag at random to see whether she could afford it at all.

“What? $3,200?” Her eyes were wide with amazement. That was too much for her. Then she checked the other price tags. At that moment, she was speechless with shock. A vest was listed for $4,500, and a dress $8,700, a suit $11,000! Blanca could feel cold sweat trickling down her back because these prices were far beyond her budget!

She didn’t try on any one and stepped out of the fitting room. The salesgirl walked forward and asked in surprise, “Don’t you like these, ma’am?”

“Yes. I’m afraid these are not for me,” Blanca said awkwardly. She thought she needed to leave now. Without forethought, she grabbed Matthew’s arm and walked towards the door together.

When Matthew looked down at the hand on his arm, he felt his heart beating faster.

“Let’s go to the next one! These are not quite the style I want.” Blanca hided her real feelings for her self-respect.

Matthew seemed to be in a good mood. He agreed and took her to another store.

Blanca’s eyes widened again as she looked at a price tag. Why did these clothes cost so much? Just a business suit cost $50,000!

Blanca couldn’t wait to get out of here. She went up to Matthew, touching him lightly with her fingers and said quietly, “Well, uh…”

“I own this store. As my wife, you can take anything you want,” Matthew said calmly.

“Eh?” It was really shocking for Blanca. Before she recovered from her surprise, the manager of the store came hurrying towards them.
