Only chance?

Blanca was exhilarated. That was all she needed. If she really had something to do with Mr. Butler, then she could meet him without Matthew’s help after that. And if she had nothing to do with him, she didn’t need to meet him for a second time anyway.

Seeing her so happy, Matthew smiled and said, “Go to bed.”

“Oh, good night!”

Blanca was no longer sad anymore. She turned off the lights gladly and didn’t hate him so much.

Her only strength was that she didn’t hold grudges and her bad mood faded quickly. As long as she was thinking that she could meet Mr. Butler in two days, she was extremely happy. But she still didn’t forget what she promised her schoolmate.

In fact, Blanca felt a little sleepy, but she woke up early in the morning, usually at five or six o 'clock. She would open her eyes for only three seconds, turn over and go back to sleep. But today, she opened her sore eyes and did not fall back to sleep.

Matthew was still sleeping beside her. The sunshine lit up the room and it was such a beautiful and peaceful scene. Blanca sneaked up and didn’t want to awake him.

She was in her pajamas and grabbed a blanket in her wardrobe. She took her laptop and went out of the room.

Matthew was still sleeping and she didn’t want to disrupt him. But the design needed to be done. So she had to take the laptop downstairs and finish her work in the living room.

But Blanca didn’t notice that by the time she left, the man on bed already opened his eyes.

“Ha! Finally done!”

Blanca wrapped herself in the blanket and cuddled up on the couch.

She felt like she had one more morning than others did.

After finishing all of this, she went to brush her teeth. She pushed the door and then saw somebody, which scared her so much that she almost tossed away her laptop.

“Why are you here? Do you know how scary you were?”

Blanca saw it was Matthew. She patted her chest and rolled her eyes. Her heart was still pounding.

Matthew had already freshened up. He was in a black suit and his tie was royal blue with a Windsor Knot. Even though Blanca didn’t know the brand, she could tell all of these were expansive.

And with his good looks, any girl would simply fall for him.

“What? What did you do last night?”

“Nothing.”

“Then why do you look so guilty?”

Matthew took a look at her. Even though she didn’t tell him about the orders, Matthew could tell form the look on her face.

“I don’t want to say anything about this to you. I’m going to work later.”

Blanca pushed him away and wanted to go to the bathroom. But then he suddenly grabbed her wrists.
