Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 91

On the weekend, Antonio remembered that it was some time since Hermosa was taken away by those officers from Justice Bureau. Besides, he couldn’t go to visit her during this period of time because of taking care of Adelaide.

Only when did Antonio tell Adelaide, Adelaide knew something also had happened to Grandma. She blamed herself a little. If it weren't for Alvin, Hermosa might suffer more this time.

"Antonio, let's go to visit Grandma now." Adelaide held Antonio’s arm. Except for visiting Grandma, Adelaide also had some gifts to give to Grandma.

Antonio didn't want Adelaide to go, because he was afraid that Hermosa couldn’t bear the blow that Adelaide had a miscarriage. However, Adelaide said that Grandma would know it sooner or later. Moreover, that Antonio didn't pick up Hermosa from Justice Bureau made Hermosa sad enough.

Then Adelaide and Antonio drove to the Baron's house very quickly. After opening the door and seeing it was Antonio, Ivy suddenly changed her expression. She just turned around to go to do her own affairs, without even saying hello. Antonio looked at Adelaide confusedly.

Adelaide smiled. Women knew women best, even if Hermosa was an old woman. Hermosa did her best for her grandson. She was questioned by those officers from Justice Bureau over and over again. What had she been through to make her no choice but call Alvin? The answer was so obvious.

"It's okay. You stay downstairs for a while. I'll find Grandma!" After a pause, Adelaide knew that Antonio was also worried about the situation of Hermosa, so she added, "I'll call you upstairs after I talk to Grandma for a while."

Antonio probably understood the situation, and sighed, "Okay!"

Adelaide trotted to Hermosa's room. Hermosa was watering the orchid she planted. Adelaide called, "Grandma!"

Hermosa looked back and then turned her head again. It seemed that Hermosa was still angry. Adelaide ran over and hugged Hermosa from behind, tears streaming from her eyes.

Only then did Hermosa feel that Adelaide was weird. According to Hermosa’s knowing of Adelaide, Adelaide would never hug her like this. Besides, Adelaide was still pregnant. Suddenly, a doubt flashed in Hermosa's mind! Wait! Why did she not feel Adelaide’s belly bulging?

Hermosa turned around and looked at Adelaide carefully. Adelaide was wearing a white shirt and light blue jeans today. The waist of her jeans was just an inch or two above her waist! After getting pregnant, she had never worn like this.

"Grandma, I’m sorry. My baby was gone!"

Without giving Hermosa the time to think deeply, Adelaide directly solved Hermosa’s doubts.

Upon hearing this, Hermosa was shocked, "What the hell was going on?"

"Clarissa asked me out that day. I didn't want to see her at first, but she said she wanted to tell me something about her fake pregnancy. When I met her, she didn't say anything. Suddenly, she angered me. I couldn't help but push her. She said that she was bleeding. Antonio happened to be behind me."

Hermosa only caught one important point in this matter, "Wait! Fake pregnancy?"

Adelaide nodded, "Just when Hanna and I found some clues, she said that she wanted to confess the fake pregnancy to me."

Only then did Adelaide know that was not the coincidence! How could there were so many coincidences in the world? She was set up by Clarissa. Now, she just wanted to pay Clarissa back in Clarissa’s own coin. Adelaide’s tears kept falling, but her logic was clear, "Antonio sent her to the hospital. She let me give her a blood transfusion. But I was unwilling. After Antonio calmed down, he didn’t allow her to draw my blood. But it was just at that time something happened to the company. Antonio went back and I... They drew my blood forcibly."

Hermosa's eyes narrowed. No wonder Clarissa always wore high heels and evening dresses. Hermosa always felt weird. It turned out that she was fake pregnant. Even if Adelaide didn’t tell Hermosa the next things, Hermosa could guess what happened later!

No wonder Antonio didn't come to pay for the missing tax and didn't come to see her when she was in the hospital. Hermosa touched Adelaide's hair to comfort Adelaide, "My child. You have suffered a lot! I’ll avenge you."

After some discussions, the two decided not to tell Antonio first. If Clarissa was really pregnant, Hermosa would just let her get away with this matter. But if it was a fake pregnancy, Hermosa would have Clarissa pay her life for her grandson!

Then Antonio came upstairs to see Hermosa. After Hermosa knew that Antonio had been taking care of Adelaide these days, her anger had almost disappeared. When Hermosa told Adelaide that she was hospitalized a few days ago, Adelaide said that she and Antonio didn’t know this matter at all. Suddenly, Hermosa understood something.

No wonder Alvin sent her to City Hospital. It was him who was afraid that she would find that Adelaide was also hospitalized!

Hermosa was nice to her grandson again, but Antonio still didn’t know what had happened. Seeing that his Grandma was indeed like before and wasn’t angry with that he had forgotten to find someone to solve the tax evasion problem, he felt relieved.

Hermosa said that she wanted to talk with Adelaide for a while, so she let Antonio to go back first. Although Antonio had some doubts, he nodded and left after seeing Adelaide did not object.

After Antonio left, Adelaide and Hermosa brought some men and a private doctor to the villa where Clarissa had lived. But they found that she had been driven out by Antonio. After some effort, they finally caught Clarissa back to the villa.

When Clarissa saw that Hermosa and Adelaide, she had a bad feeling. Immediately, she yelled to go back. The bodyguards pressed her on the bed forcibly and then tied her in the same a way as she tied Adelaide before.

Clarissa screamed and tried to break free of the rope, but these were all ox-tendon ropes. Even Antonio or some trained bodyguards might not be able to break free, let alone her, a woman!

"Go to check whether she is pregnant or not!"

Hermosa knocked the cane to ground, which resonated with the marble floor. Clarissa's struggle became fiercer. She shouted, "Bitch, bitch, Adelaide, you bitch, you slander me! Your own child was gone. But now you slander me!"

Adelaide frowned, ignoring her words. Hermosa couldn't stand it. She knocked a cane on Clarissa’s thigh, and said imposingly, "What are you shouting at? So ill-bred! This is my private doctor. He will not get you wronged."

Clarissa was still struggling, just like Adelaide who was lying helpless on the operating table that day. Hermosa winked at the doctor. Then the doctor walked to Clarissa with tools. He checked carefully several times. After a while, he frowned. Then, he laughed. Finally, he pressed Clarissa's belly hard and said to Hermosa, "She is not pregnant!"

"What!" Even though Hermosa had been mentally prepared and she had heard about it from Adelaide, she was still surprised when the doctor told her so directly.

The doctor nodded, "If there is liposuction in the world, there will be a way to move the fat. She just puts the fat on one place of her belly. If she puts on close-fitting clothes, she will look like that she has pregnant for four or five months!

Clarissa was completely desperate now. She swallowed, and then looked at Hermosa with some guilty. But Hermosa's expression seemed to be so terrible!
