Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 103

It was in the afternoon in Greece but it was also around 5 o'clock in the afternoon in J City. Both Antonio and Adelaide dropped down their watches which had time difference.

Adelaide deliberately changed to a long dress. The white dress had no side embellishments. A strap hung on her neck. The exposed collarbone was fair and beautiful. She was so thin.

She was originally the kind of petite girl. Her shoulders were less than two fingers thick. Her long and tender arms were hanging on the sides. The clothes were prepared by Antonio in advance for her. When the two came out in a hurry, he had to call the hotel here to let them buy clothes in advance.

The only thing Antonio was dissatisfied was that the collar of the dress was a little low. Antonio didn’t know how many times he helped Adelaide to pull the collar up. There was obvious that no one around was staring at Adelaide, but he was staring at everyone around him vigilantly like a wolf guarding a calf. He was afraid that someone would take advantage of Adelaide.

This made Adelaide a little speechless!

This season should be the best time to come to the Aegean Sea. The scenes on the beach showed the spring was coming. Tourists went into the water with lifebuoys and swimming suits. The companion on the shore handed a person a glass of red wine. The person found a comfortable posture and lay down. He gently shook the goblet in his hand, then took a graceful sip, letting the wine slide into the esophagus and stomach through the Adam's apple.

Adelaide felt a little eager to go into the water. On the plane, Antonio got a comprehensive understanding of here. He pulled the smart little woman in front of him, mysteriously whispering in her ears, "I'll take you to a place!"

"Where?"

Her voice came with the wind. It took five hours for them to take a boat from Mykonos to Santorini. This made Antonio annoyed for a long time. He checked the best place to watch the sunset, but he didn’t check how long it would take for two people to arrive by boat.

Ships here were in the form of taxis. In the past, there would be full of ships of different sizes. Some ships could only carry more than a dozen people at a time, and some could carry dozens of people. They had accurate departure times like buses. The only shortcoming was that the guests were scattered. For those ships, they couldn’t earn so much money at all. Then some fishermen sailed out to do business on their own. As long as there were enough tourists for a boat, the fishman could set off at any time, which reduced the waiting time for tourists and also gave the surrounding fishermen opportunities to make money as much as possible.

However, those fishermen had to have a certificate to be allowed driving boat!

Adelaide had never taken a boat before. When she just got on a boat, she was so excited. Antonio pulled her several times but she was still looking around. The boat moved slowly. Adelaide leaned out and put her hand into the water. The water was warm that people could clearly feel the water passing through the fingers.

Adelaide was very excited. She shook her arm. Antonio grabbed her other arm tightly. He was worried that Adelaide, who was too curious, would fall into the sea. The helmsman who sailed the boat was speaking the language that Antonio and Adelaide didn’t understand. When he was speaking, his eyes swept over Antonio and Adelaide. Antonio keenly noticed that he seemed to feel disgust for them.

He tried to get Adelaide up. How could she get up so soon? She shook her head and refused Antonio. A bright smile appeared on her face, showing two small dimples, "Antonio, really, put your hands into the water and feel it!"

After saying that, she finally got up. There were only two seats in the row. Antonio had booked the whole boat, so there were only two of them in the boat.

She put Antonio's hand into the water on the other side, pretending to be angry, "Don't take it out! Feel it!" She said the first sentence so imposing. Probably she thought that Antonio would not listen to her, so she almost pleaded Antonio when she said the second sentence.

Antonio pursed his lips, and reluctantly let her put his hand into the water.

Seeing this, Adelaide returned to her seat happily. She stretched out her hand in the same way, feeling the wind passing across her face and the water slipping through her fingers.

"Antonio, how long will it take to get there?"

Adelaide felt a little tired. The sun went down with the passage of time. She had no the excitement of taking a boat like when she first got on the boat. Adelaide's small face was a little pale. Her lips were pale too. Antonio asked her to lean against him to have a rest. He sighed while patting her smoothly. If he knew that Adelaide would get seasick, he would not choose to take a boat.

Antonio pursed his lips. He looked at the person in his arms, feeling sorry, "Just hold on. I think we will be there soon!"

The Aegean Sea had become a tourist destination because of its uniqueness. It was almost a must-visit place for couples. The locals had also learned English for simple communication. Unfortunately, this old man didn’t not understand English.

Antonio regretted that he didn’t think about the time to take a boat. Looking at Adelaide's sickly appearance, even if they arrived on the island of Santorini, she couldn’t see the sunset.

Antonio looked up. The speed of the sunset was so quick.

"Wow…"

Adelaide leaned half of her body outside. As she had been so excited, she did not eat much, which caused that even if she vomited, there was no food for her to vomit out. Her face was ghastly pale at the moment.

Adelaide looked back at Antonio. She almost cried out.

Antonio pulled the helmsman's clothes. The man stopped and looked back at him. Antonio spoke it in English first, but the helmsman didn't understand what Antonio was talking about.

He was so anxious that his sweats were dripping from his forehead. Antonio pointed at the sun and then at the watch. The helmsman seemed to understand what Antonio meant a little and then he nodded. He turned his head and started the boat. Soon the two finally arrived in the island.

"Are you okay?" Antonio asked worriedly.

Adelaide shook her head. She had never seen Antonio performing like a clown. Adelaide was so moved by this awkward man.

"I want to see the sunset."

The most beautiful thing was the sunrise, because it symbolized hope.

In the same way, the setting sun symbolized death. The setting sun was infinitely good, yet it was almost dusk. It was like an old man. Even though he didn't want to die, even though he had already experienced a wonderful life, he still couldn't get rid of his fallen destiny.

When death came, what people could do was to face it calmly, just like calmly facing every dusk.

Antonio squatted on the ground. He patted his shoulder and motioned for Adelaide to come up.

Adelaide opened her mouth slightly. She looked at Antonio in surprise.

"Come up! Otherwise, we can’t see the sunset!" He urged a little anxiously. He didn't plan the time. He originally planned to come to Santorini early to occupy the best position to watch the sunset. Now it seemed that the best positions were basically occupied by others. He raised his head to glance at the mountainside not far away. It was a good place and there was no one here!

Antonio thought to himself, while carrying Adelaide on his back, walked fast to the mountainside.

After all, Antonio was a lack of exercise. He was already panting when they arrived the mountainside. The two were lying on the ground together, waiting for the sunset!
