Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 107

The two-day trip to the Aegean Sea was about to come to an end soon. They came here in a hurry and rushed back in a hurry. Although Adelaide was still a little bit unwilling to leave, Oscar called Antonio, saying there were some urgent affairs in the company, which needed Antonio to deal with personally.

When they left, they only took away those shells.

Adelaide was a little sleepy when she got on the plane. She fell asleep on Antonio’s shoulder within a few minutes. When she woke up, they were already in the downtown. It was cloudy with light rain. When they left Greece, it was still three o’clock in the afternoon. But when they got off the plane, it was already twelve o'clock in the evening.

Bruno was waiting outside the airport. When the two came out of the airport, they saw Bruno holding a bright red umbrella from a distance. Bruno saw Antonio in the crowd at a glance.

Then he opened the other big black umbrella deftly. Antonio nodded and said, "Thank you!" Bruno was flattered and kept saying it was his job. In the past, when he worked for those big bosses, those bosses would call him at any time. His job was just to drive for those bosses. So he had been used to coming out to pick up bosses in the middle of the night.

"Bruno, how is everything going at home?"

They came to Greece in a hurry, so she failed to tell them how to take care of the family affairs. Adelaide held Antonio's arm and walked to the side of the car. Bruno hurriedly stepped forward to the car first, then opened the car door for the two of them, putting his arm on the door.

Bruno nodded. But he didn’t dare to look at Adelaide because he felt somewhat guilty. He started the car and replied softly, "Everything is fine!" Only Damla...

Damla said that her grandson was seriously ill and was short of money, but her boss went abroad at this moment. Wasn't this embarrassing her intentionally? Damla and her son and daughter-in-law decided to sell a house. After all, Adelaide was unwilling to lend her money, and the bank didn’t want to lend her a loan, either.

Damla was helpless. So she had to sell the house which she didn't like very much. The money for buying the house was her bonus for 20 years of hard work in the Baron family.

It was not that she was reluctant to sell the house. She just hated Adelaide immensely. She hated Adelaide didn't let Antonio lend money to her, and deliberately reminded of Antonio those matters.

So, she had not returned to Antonio's house in the past few days!

Maybe Adelaide would face a messy home after she went home. On the way, Bruno was thinking about what Damla had done. He only hoped that Damla’s affairs would not get him involved. After all, it was not easy for him to get this job. Antonio was rich and nice. So his job was not so hard. Not to mention how many people could be as rich as him, even in terms of character, Antonio was a nice boss.

Bruno had worked for those so stingy bosses. He knew how tough he was at that time. Naturally he cherished this job even more.

Bruno was thinking about those things on the way. Soon, they returned home.

After opening the door, the stench coming from the home made Adelaide unbearable. Antonio also covered his nose. He frowned and asked, "Where is Damla?"

Bruno wiped the sweat from his forehead. Then he cautiously answered, "Damla's grandson is still not well. She is taking care of her grandson in the hospital. During these days, she couldn't get through your phone, so she didn't ask for leave."

Adelaide was really disappointed with Damla at this time. She endured the strange smell, "Antonio, I know you like being quiet, but there can’t be only a servant at home."

Antonio also began to think about Adelaide's suggestion. He nodded. Then the two of them endured the smelly and went to the second floor.

The next day, Bruno finally got through Damla's phone. As soon as Damla heard that the two had returned, she immediately threw the melon seeds on the ground and hurried back.

"Master Antonio, my grandson gets badly ill. You knew it before going abroad!" She told Antonio her hardship with tears.

Adelaide kept frowning since Damla came back. Adelaide’s face sank, "I can understand that you have to take care of your grandson, but you didn’t do the dishes? The fish soup in the pot stinks!"

After hearing this, Damla was angry. She squinted at Adelaide, "Mrs. Baron, you didn’t know why I went out that day?"

She was asked to pay back by Adelaide, so she was embarrassed then she ran out. After she left, Adelaide and Antonio indeed ate but they didn’t clean the table. Why was the fish soup in the kitchen now and it stunk?

Adelaide found that Damla was becoming more and more arrogant. Not only did she not respect Adelaide, but she dared fool Antonio. Now, she even threw mud at Adelaide in front of Antonio. But Adelaide was not the pushover like before. She stared at Damla coldly and said word by word, “In the future, your salary will return to the monthly salary of a common nanny. The money you owed us before will be deducted from your salary in the following months!"

Hearing that, Damla was pissed off. She shouted, “What? Monthly salary? My salary is 50,000 a month. The common nanny’s salary is only 8,000! I don’t agree. There is only me who clean the whole house. It’s normal that I have such a high salary. Otherwise, I will find a lawyer to sue you!"

Adelaide sneered. She hadn’t known that Damla was so shrewd and scheming. Damla even wanted to find a lawyer to sue her. "You owed us money. Either you pay it back, or I’ll deduct it from your salary. Tomorrow, I will recruit a batch of new staffs. At that time, you just need to do your own job well!"

From eight thousand to fifty thousand, it could be said that Antonio treated this nanny so well, who took care of him since childhood. In this city or even in the whole country, there would be no nanny with a higher salary than Antonio gave to Damla.

Not only was Damla not grateful, but she wanted to bite the hand that fed her!

Damla was so insatiable.

Hearing what Adelaide said, Damla’s face turned pale. Her eldest son was a wimp. Recently, he took drugs and couldn’t quit. His wife had divorced him because of this. If it weren’t for Damla to give that woman a lot of money, maybe her grandson had to leave with that woman.

If her salary was lowered to eight thousand, how could she support her whole family? She glanced at Adelaide several times. Seeing Adelaide’s unkind expression, Damla knew that even if she begged Adelaide, Adelaide wouldn’t be soft-hearted. So Damla turned to Antonio.

After all, she had taken care of Antonio since he was a child. He couldn’t be so cruel to her. Damla grabbed Antonio by the corner of his clothes, "Antonio, you always said that I was your elders, and you even let me call you Antonio. But I thought that you are the employer and I’m just a nanny, so I insists on calling you Master Antonio. Now I want to plead you. Please don’t let Mrs. Baron reduce my salary."

Antonio pursed his lips. He also felt that Damla had gone a little too far this time. It was more like that she was making trouble for others on purpose. He must punish this elder who had been with him for more than 20 years this time, "Damla, I respect you. But you are way out of line this time!"

He looked over. There was only a pot of fish soup which was easy to stink in the kitchen. Wasn't this a demonstration to them? Alluding to the fact that if without her, there wouldn’t be anyone who could clean up the house?

He didn't say it out, but it didn't mean he didn't know that Damla had always bullied Adelaide, relying on her seniority over the years. He didn't mention it just because he thought that she had been taking care of him for more than 20 years.
