Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 189

Expectedly, Adelaide quarreled with Antonio again last night. She was in a very bad mood. Even Bruno, who had never been criticized before, was criticized by her because of the problems about parking.

It was so hot that people would be affected. People would lose temper easily when they were upset.

Adelaide was bored and she just lay on the bed. Damla cooked the white fungus and lotus seed soup that was good to people's health, but she hadn't any appetite and had just a little. Damla's eyes rolled, but left quietly without say anything in the end.

Before Adelaide married Antonio, she also had a job. However, in order to play the role of Mrs. Baron well, she had to resign. Now, she was so restricted by the title of Mrs. Baron that she felt depressed.

When she was lost in thought, her mobile phone suddenly rang, frightening her so much that she shivered.

"Hey, Adelaide, it's me. Come out to have lunch with me!"

Adelaide smiled and nodded as if Hanna were right in front of her, "Send me the address."

It was great that Hanna forgave her and was willing to go out to have a meal with her.

On the night when they shared a table with Aadam, they were all bit unhappy. Later, she went to eat at a sidewalk snack vendor with Hanna. At that time, she didn't explain to Hanna because she thought that Hanna was in a good mood. After that, Hanna always found excuses to refuse to go out with her even she just wanted to go shopping with Hanna. She knew that Hanna was a little angry.

Adelaide shook her head and pushed all these thoughts away. She put on a purple dress. After she turned and looked at the sun outside the window, she gritted her teeth and changed into a white skirt.

After fixing the hair that blocked her eyes, she brushed her hair into a ponytail and wrapped it into a bun. After all that, she made a gesture of victory in front of the mirror. Feeling satisfied, she took her bag and set off.

The furnishings of the restaurant was understated and elegant. It had to be admitted that Hanna always attached great importance to eating. Hanna specially selected a private box, but waited for Adelaide in the hall. Seeing that Adelaide was coming slowly, she strode forward and laughed.

"Why can you smile? It's so hot!" Adelaide fanned herself with her hand. Luckily, she didn't wear makeup because she was rather pretty even when she wore no makeup. Otherwise, she would be a woman whose makeup was in a mess because she sweat too much.

Hanna still smiled cheerfully. It was so hot that she dared not put her feet on the floor. She would burn her hand when she put her hand on the door handle of her car. She thought that she would "die" if she was out of the air-conditioned room.

Pushing these thoughts away, Hanna took Adelaide's arm that was hot and put her head on Adelaide's shoulder naturally, "It's all right. You'll feel better soon."

"Why do you want to eat in a restaurant that is so far away?" Adelaide asked with her head slightly tilted.

Hearing this, Hanna smiled mysteriously. She blushed and said in a voice as low as a mosquito, "You'll know soon."

Adelaide looked at her in doubt, but Hanna wore a mysterious expression and just smiled without saying a word.

Seeing that she was in a good mood, Adelaide no longer asked. After they took several turns on the second floor, they finally came to the private box. Before knocking on the door, Hanna proudly told her that they could see the scenery outside through the window of the room and that sunlight couldn't flood in through the window.

Adelaide couldn't help smiling. Then she knocked on the door and heard the magnetic voice of a man, after which the door was opened and she saw the man.

The man was in a suit and his shoes were clean. He bowed to Adelaide like a gentleman. After raising his head, he looked straight and put on a confident and polite smile, "Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Richard Stone, and I'm a doctor in a psychological counseling room. I'm also Hanna's boyfriend. Nice to meet you."

He was a bit humorous in his speech. Different from Calvin whose eyes could talk, he was really a good talker. Adelaide was immediately attracted by his low voice. Then she nodded like a fool and suddenly said abruptly, "Do psychiatrists all have pleasant voices?"

Richard raised his eyebrows and laughed casually.

Adelaide immediately blushed, lowered her head and followed Hanna to go in the private box.

They could really see the busy street in the private box through the window. The temperature of the air conditioner was not set to be very low. There was a pot of plant on the windowsill. The retro dining table and chairs were all made of rosewood, still giving out the faint smell of wood. There was a calligraphy work on the wall. It read "keep cool and you'll win through". There was a table and chairs that were for people to use after they finished their meals. The table was smaller in size than the dining table, but the patterns carved on it were as delicate as those on the dining table. The elegant decoration had added some charm to this private box.

Adelaide stopped looking around. She graded Richard in her heart, but sat down beside Hanna with a smile and listened to their conversation.

Soon, the waiter came. The waiter was dressed in ancient clothes without loose robe and long sleeves. He really looked like an ancient waiter in an Inn on TV. Adelaide couldn't help smiling with her mouth covered by her hand.

Richard often came to this restaurant, so he skillfully ordered a few budget-friendly dishes. Considering that it was hot, he specially ordered a sweet mung bean soup.

They talked and laughed harmoniously. He was like the Prince Charming in the TV series, who was considerate and gentlemanlike with a gentle voice. Hanna admiringly looked at him with her hands supporting her cheeks. Adelaide had driven a long way to come to this restaurant. Now, she suddenly understood why Hanna would invite her to have lunch here.

She felt as if she were a mom who had raised a daughter for many years. Now, her "daughter" finally got a handsome boyfriend. Adelaide was happy that she no longer worked as a mom when she was gratified that Hanna finally found her beloved one after so many years. She just stared at Hanna who sat next to her with an indulgent expression in her eyes.

Therefore, she neglected the intentional or unintentional peep from Richard

After finishing the meal, Hanna offered to send her home and Richard also offered to send her home with a smile. Adelaide pretended to cough and said seriously, "You don't have to. I want to chat with Hanna."

Richard opened his mouth and wanted to say something. Hanna patted him on the shoulder, "You go first. I'll contact you later!"

No matter what he said, they wouldn't change their mind. Knowing that, Richard nodded reluctantly and then left.

After making sure that Richard had gone far, Adelaide dropped the mask, punched Hanna on the shoulder and blamed her, "Hey, you didn't tell me that you had got a boyfriend."

Hanna smiled, saying that it was very difficult for them to become lovers and that she didn't want to talk about the process. She sighed, "Humph, what were you doing lately? I always failed to find you."

Adelaide stuck out her tongue. She really neglected Hanna because of Antonio's birthday.

"I'm sorry. I were a little busy." After a pause, considering that Antonio mistaken her when she was being so kind, she patted her chest to assure Hanna, "However, Richard is a good person."
