“You’ve made the arrangements?” Hayden looked puzzled, “Where? Is it at the hotel?”

Joseph nodded his head without an expression on his face, “Go in first.”

The maid led Hayden to the room next to the master bedroom. Originally, this room was just an ordinary bedroom, which Hayden has stayed before. However, this time it had changed quite a lot because there were more decorations in it. The dressing table was also filled with all kinds of expensive cosmetics. What surprised Hayden the most was that there was also a husky plush doll placed on the bed.

“I guess this is prepared for Stella. Thank you.”

On the other hand, Freddie was arranged to stay at the branch of the ST Hotel, in the eastern district of Nanking. Joseph wished to send him away as far as possible from the city center. Freddie got into the hotel and listened to Magnus, Joseph’s assistant, telling him something about what Joseph had instructed to tell. After Magnus finished, Freddie became so angry that he grabbed Magnus’s phone and called Joseph.

“Joseph! You are so cunning! You actually played tricks by luring me away to let Hayden stay at your house.”

Joseph held the phone farther away from his ear to prevent his eardrums to be blown up, and said solely, “You’re overthinking it. Based on the situation today, you have no choice but to leave first.”

“Do you think I’m stupid? The reporter just reached ten minutes ago, and you already arranged everything, including the people and the hotel. Be frank, did you inform the reporter that I was at Hayden’s house?”

A glint of interest crossed Joseph’s eyes.

You are shameless to deceive Hayden, who is so innocent and naive.”

Joseph, who had never been scolded like this before, was surprisingly not angry at all. He corrected Freddie in a serious manner, “She doesn’t seem to have anything to do with innocence.”

Plus, she had another friend who treated her like biological sister, who can act coquettishly, scold people fiercely and threaten people too. He can do everything to protect her.

“I only let her stay at my place because Noah likes to eat the food she cooks. Nothing more. So, you’re just overthinking it.”

“I don’t believe it! You could hire any famous cooks from all over the country if you wished to! You don’t need Hayden to cook for your son.”

“Believe it or not, Noah only likes to eat the food she made.”

Joseph’s tone turned serious, “Also, there’s one more thing. The boss of R&X Corporation is a friend of mine. I can recommend you to his company. If you decided to join them, I’ll ask him to contact you.”

“Who needs your recommendation?” The voice on the other end of the line scolded, “I’m in high demand, I don’t need your recommendation at all!”

Joseph didn’t want to listen to him anymore, so he just hung up the phone directly.
