Resurrection novel Chapter 30

Chapter 30: When calm meets storm

Endings are meant to be happy

And if there is no happiness it is not the end..

Was this my end?

I thought as I was lying on the forest floor ...too weak to rise and too painful to move

My hands were covered in my own blood and my clothes drenched in it.

My vision was going hazy with the amount of blood I was loosing but I was still trying to keep my eyes open

I wanted to see those blue eyes even if they had hatred for me

I wanted to feel her touch even if it killed me

Is this love?

Is this the extent of love I have for her

Is my own life nothing compared to her

If it is then I must say that love destroys you..kills you..but still makes you the most happy person on this earth.

I could have lived without her...I could have left her to deal with her own wolf..I could have replaced her with some other girl and had pups to live a happy life...

But no..

Love destroyed me

It bought the king of warewolves at his knees lying at the mercy of his own mates wolf

It made me come here to die

But if you ask me if I regret coming here

My answer will be simply no because

As olaf said

Some people are just worth melting for and my Ezra is one of them.

................................................................

15 minutes before.....

The storm was calm now

But the destruction at it's trail was enough to give a hint of Ezra's wolfs power

As I made my way towards the centre a burnt clearing welcomed me with 100s of years old trees uprooted, burnt grass and smell of smoke.

I sensed a presence behind me and before turning only I knew who it was

A voice cold as ice sent shivers down my spine

"Who are you??"

When I turned I saw those ice blue eyes staring at me

"Ezra..please come back!! I know you can hear me..please control your wolf..I know you will never destroy so many lives...you are humane"

I waited

Waited for her response but it never came

Instead she started moving towards me with a scruitinising look

Like she knew me

My heart started beating faster with every step she took

"You think she can control me? kid I told you she is dead ...the second she killed herself she gave me her full control...I now control her body as well as her soul.'

How can she say that?

No she is not dead

" No!!! A wolf can never control us..you are lying!!! She is not dead!! You are forcefully subdueing her...just let her go!!!"

"Look who is talking!"

She said with a smirk as evil as her deeds

"What do you mean?"

She took another step towards me

"If I am not wrong...you are her mate right? You are the one who rejected her...you left her to die while you were fu**** some other bi***....a ungrateful bas**** dosen't deserve her and I am happy that she died...when you loose the things you take for granted then you realise their value..."

Her words not only pinched but were like a sharp knife that pierced through my heart shattering it in pieces

It hurts because it's true

Each and every word is true

"I...I know ...I was wrong....hell I was the worst mate anyone can have!! But I didn't knew...I didn't knew that she was the same girl I spent my whole life searching.....but I still know that this is not an excuse...but what you are doing is it right?"

"Listen boy I lived for 25 years trapped inside her...she blocked me to my very existence and there was no way to even let her know I existed...her mother was the only one who could control me..but this girl..she was a weakling....drowning in bottles of vodka to ease the pain of rejection...she never cared for her body..and I had to control it......now if you could leave...I have other places to be...I want to strtetchen my hands and see what all I can do...it's been so long since I used them"

"No I am not going anywhere...your madness has to stop or else being the King I have to hurt you"

"You..will hurt me?? What a joke kid I am in no mood to play.."

She tried to leave but I stepped in her way

"Okay then if you want to die..lets make it quick"
