Chapter 334 Take Care Of Her In Every Respect

"I approved of you staying with her because you can do something her men cannot do."

"So, as her man, I hope you can take care of her in every respect. After all, I can't be with her all the time."

Like the time when Mr. Barnett had a meal with Sophia, he was busy in meeting, and he didn't take his phone with him, which caused that he couldn't see Sophia's message immediately.

If the meeting lasted a little bit longer, something bad might happen.

Hank understood what he meant and said, "Don't worry, Mr. Riley. Ms. Lawson promotes me, giving me a chance that I never expect in my life. I'll work hard and never disappoint her."

"If you let something bad happen to her, I'll kill you!"

It was not a joke. Drake did have the ability to do so.

Hank nodded seriously, "Yes, sir. I promise I will protect her well!"

Even though they didn't make a contract, Hank was smart enough to know the consequence. Therefore, Drake just turned away after listening to his promise since he had said what he had to say.

For Hank, it was a good conversation though. It meant that Drake had trusted him and accepted him.

When Drake came back, he saw Flynn keep chatting with Sophia, looking unhappy, "You're staying here during the time of my leaving."

It was rare to see such a side of Drake that Flynn couldn't help but tease him.

"Why should I leave? I have nothing to do with my business. It's not a big deal to chat with Sophia, isn't it?"

"Isn't it?" Drake raised his voice then, "What I want to say is... Only two of you stay here. Is it proper?"

Flynn was amused by his words, "Come on, here is Sophia's office. It's not your bedroom. Some bosses of other companies come in usual times. So, it's proper."

"Oh no, Drake, what are you thinking about! If you do care, you should not let her take charge of Barnett Group!"

"You know that. The higher position she is in, the more men she gotta meet. Why not keep her at home if you're so sensitive!"

Drake indeed wanted to do so.

He tossed a glance at Sophia. Of course, he didn't dare say what he really thought!

It was not easy for him to fix their relationship. He must do everything exactly as she asked. If not , what if she left him suddenly again?
