Chapter 377 I Won't Let You Get Near My Son

Noah shouted unpleasantly, "Mom, how could you say that?"

"Why not? If it weren't for her, you wouldn't have been like this."

"But mom, what does Sophia have to do with it? It was true I came to help Bard because of her, but it was my choice. She never forced me to do it. She's not the one to blame."

Never expecting him to say that, Mrs. Greenspan kept shaking her head, "How come you become so unruly, Noah? You're gonna be the death of me."

"Mom, I..."

He had no idea how to soothe his mother.

"It was Sophia who made you like this. Noah, if you were dead, I wouldn't live in this world without you!"

Noah said in a lowered voice, "Anyway, Mom, if Sophia came, don't treat her like this, or I would be angry."

"Noah." Mrs. Greenspan was really pissed off, "I asked Gloria to come to see you. Based on what has happened to you, I can tell you for sure that from now on, there is no chance for you and Sophia to be together. The only person you are going to marry is Gloria."

Since she heard that Sophia had slept with Drake, she had given up on Sophia.

Gloria was also the lady from one of the four Pinkerton families. More importantly, she loved Noah with her soul and heart. In Mrs. Greenspan's mind, Gloria was a perfect match for Noah.

But for Gloria, what Mrs. Greenspan had said was not something pleasant to the ear.

Noah refused again, "Mom, I can control my own life. You can make other decisions for me, but not this one. I'm not going to marry Gloria. Please take her and leave, right now. I said I don't want to see her anymore."

When Noah noticed the woman standing in the distance, a smile showed up on his face, "Sophia, is that you?"

He remembered having called her before he passed out. She didn't say anything at that time, but as she was already here, was it possible that she had arrived here a long time ago?

The reason why Sophia agreed to take care of Noah was simply because it was Noah. It had nothing to do with anybody else. She didn't have to consider whether other people were against it or not.

"Leave, Gloria. Are you deaf?"

Noah had never treated Gloria like this before.

Gloria felt very aggrieved. She took a long flight from Pinkerton, but this was what she got in return.

Mrs. Greenspan was worried about her and sent someone to follow her.

She turned to Sophia, "I won't let you touch my son."

"Mom." Noah cried out loud, "I want to talk to her."

Mrs. Greenspan stared at him silently. How she hoped she could stuff her son back to her womb. Maybe it was the only way to make her son understand and obey her.

Eventually, thinking about her son's bad condition, she reconciled. Before she left, she warned Sophia, "Remember what I have said, or..."

Noah suddenly became a bit shy, "It was nothing. When I heard about it, I just didn't want your brother to get harmed. I don't want you to be sad."
