Revenge On My First Love novel Chapter 385

Chapter 385 When Did You Get Married?

"It's my turn. Let me hold her."

Abbott waited anxiously aside.

The four Lawson brothers watched them, wondering when it was their turn.

A man entered the house and chuckled, "Seemingly bad timing for me."

They looked back and saw Nosh.

Sophia strode to him. "Noah, you've just checked out of the hospital. You should stay home."

"I've been in the hospital for two years without going anywhere. I've been fed up with such a life. I might have depression if staying home again."

"Come here, Bonnie. Aren't you happy to see Daddy?"

Noah squatted down, reaching out.

"Daddy!"

Before the Lawson brothers held her, the little girl threw herself into Noah's arms.

"I miss you so much, Daddy." Bonnie pecked him loudly.

Noah returned a kiss. "I also miss you, Bonnie. Look what gift I've bought you."

Suddenly, a key chain appeared in his palm. Bonnie's cartoon photo was on it.

Bonnie picked it up and asked in surprise, "Whoa! It's Bonnie, right?"

"Right. I designed it for you myself. It's one of the product series. There will be toys and fluffy dolls."

"All limited edition."

Bonnie clapped excitedly. "Wonderful! I like them. You are the best, Daddy!"

Then she pecked his cheek again.

Laura chuckled, "Noah, why don't you stay home for lunch?"

"Sure, Mrs. Lawson."

After lunch, Noah asked the little girl, "Bonnie, you told me you'd been to Happy Fair last time. I also want to take a look. Can you take Daddy to Happy Fair later?"

"Sure. But..." Bonnie subconsciously looked over at Sophia.

Sophia beamed at her. "No problem. We are free after lunch, anyway. Let's go to Happy Fair together."

"Yeah! We're going to Happy Fair!" Bonnie was still little, so she became overjoyed by such a trifle.

Before leaving, Sophia reminded her family, "Dad, Mom, we're taking off."

"OK. Have fun."

Sophia drove the car, and Noah and Bonnie sat in the backseat. They had a lot of things to talk about.

While driving, Sophia checked on them in the rearview mirror with a smile.

Soon, they arrived at Happy Fair.

Happy Fair was the amusement park chain.

The Happy Fair they were at was the biggest one in Pinkerton, owned by Sophia. When she learned she had been pregnant, she paid a lot of attention to things relevant to children. When she saw Happy Fair accidentally, she wanted her child to have fun in it.

Afraid her child might encounter danger in other Happy Fairs, she established her own one.

Since it was the biggest one in town, it was often packed with visitors. Today was Tuesday, so it was less crowded than the weekends and holidays.

After parking the car, Sophia and Noah held Bonnie's hands, entering.

However, they didn't notice a man watching the scene at the entrance.

Drake seemed to be rooted on the spot, standing stiffly.

He saw Sophia.

It had been two years since he saw her last time.

He also recognized Noah and saw a little girl between them. He was surprised. Had they got married and even had a daughter?

Drake traveled to Pinkerton for some business. In fact, he could have sent his subordinate there, but he wanted to come to Pinkerton personally.

He expected to meet Sophia.

His wish came true, but the situation was out of his expectation.

"Mommy, can I ask Daddy to play with me?" the little girl asked softly.

Upon hearing the word "Daddy", Drake froze.

"I don't think so. Daddy has just checked out of the hospital. I can play with you."

The little girl seemed to be disappointed.

Noah hurriedly said, "It's alright, Sophia. I'm a grown-up, not a kid. I will be careful."

Since Bonnie wished him to go with her, he didn't want to disappoint her.

A smile lit up her face immediately. "Right. Mommy, please! Let Daddy come in. I'll also be careful."

Although she was little, she could speak well and was amazingly smart.

"OK," Sophia had to agree.

"Yeah! Daddy, come in."

The harmonious scene of the family of three annoyed Drake.

He realized Sophia and Noah had married eventually. They even had a daughter.

However, he didn't hear anything about their wedding, wondering if the news had been deliberately hidden from him.

He sneered.

It was a worthwhile business trip. In the future, he could give up on Sophia utterly.

Before leaving home, Sophia forgot to fill the water jug for Bonnie. A lounge at the entrance provided water for the children, so Sophia went there to fetch some water.

Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks.

Her gaze met Drake's in mid-air. Memories surged in their mind.

Waves of scenes flashed into their heads. Both were caught off-guard and couldn't do anything.

Sophia's eyes became tearful, but she held back her tears and drawled, "Hi, Mr. Riley. I didn't expect to see you here."

Drake was supposed to leave. Sophia and Noah had been married, so he couldn't find any reason to stay.

However, when he saw her walking towards him, he told himself to stay and talk to her, even just for one line.

His voice seemed to change, but he tried his best to cover it. "Ehn. Long time no see."

His words caused a lump in her throat. Sophia didn't expect them to be so distant one day.

To cover his emotions, Drake explained, "I'm in Pinkerton for a business trip. I didn't expect to see you... Noah, and your daughter."

'Your daughter?'

Sophia panicked instantly.

However, judging from his expression, she calmed down. He seemed not to find anything, which made her relieved.

Since she was silent, Drake asked, "When did you get married? I didn't see any news about it."

If the Lawson and the Greenspan families were united by marriage, the news would be spread and Drake would have heard it. However, he didn't see any relevant information.

'Get married?' Sophia was puzzled.
