Revenge On My First Love novel Chapter 388

Chapter 388 Drake Won't Do Anything

Luckily, Sophia had never wanted to marry into the Greenspan family.

After knowing Sophia had a daughter, Noah gradually gave up.

"Sophia, I still think you should tell Drake. After all, you can't marry Noah. Sooner or later, Bonnie will know Noah cannot replace her real father."

With a faint smile, Sophia said, "It's alright. She still has four uncles."

"Uncles? How could they replace her father?"

"Drake has a girlfriend now. Forget about it, Chloe."

Chloe was shocked. "Do you mean..."

Everyone knew Molly. Since Chloe was Bailey's girlfriend, she knew more details.

Before she explained to Sophia, Molly arrived.

"Sorry, Drake, I'm late."

Sophia turned around, looking over.

Drake stood with his back to Sophia, so she couldn't see his expression. However, she didn't see him refuse her.

"Sophia, in fact..."

Before Chloe explained to avoid misunderstandings, Molly trotted towards them.

"Hi, Ms. Lawson. Nice to see you again," she greeted Sophia, reaching out.

Sophia shook hands with her politely. "Nice to meet you, too, Miss Molly."

Molly subconsciously increased her grip on Sophia's hand. "I didn't expect you to know me, Ms. Lawson. It's my pleasure."

Sophia was surprised about her dirty trick but didn't show weakness.

"I didn't know you before. Just now, Chloe introduced you to me."

Molly looked annoyed, as she had never expected Sophia to be THAT strong. She let go of Sophia's hand, and Sophia also released her.

However, Molly swung to Drake and acted cute. "Drake, I wonder what I've done wrong to offend Ms. Lawson. She gripped my hand so hard that it reddened."

Drake noticed Sophia's hand was reddened as well.

Chloe chimed in, "Molly, this is my turf. You'd better stop making a fuss here."

She didn't like Molly, so she warned the latter bluntly.

Molly bit her lip with a pitiful look.

"Ms. Thomas, don't you want me to be here? If I'm not welcomed, I can leave now."

"Go ahead. Get out!"

Chloe didn't care how she felt. Besides, Molly provoked Sophia first, so Chloe wouldn't let her continue staying there.

"Drake, aren't you angry? Your best buddy's wife is so rude." Molly stomped.

Bailey echoed, "Molly, my wife doesn't like you. Please leave. Stop making trouble here."

"How dare you say I'm making trouble here! Drake?"

Drake, however, snapped at her sternly, "I didn't ask you to come here. Get out."

Molly gaped at him in disbelief. She had done so because she found Drake would cooperate with her in Sophia's presence.

Much to her surprise, he also wanted to send her away.

Molly felt disgraced.

Chloe pulled Sophia away. "Let's go to another room."

"OK."

Molly left reluctantly. Meanwhile, she heated Sophia to the core and decided to kick her out of Sealand as soon as possible. Otherwise, Drake would still only think about Sophia.

After arriving in Sealand, Sophia helped Chloe with many things. When they finally took a break, it was dinnertime.

Intentionally or unintentionally, Sophia was arranged to sit next to Drake.

Chloe glared at Bailey after noticing it as she thought Bailey was trying to bring Drake and Sophia together.

Bailey felt aggrieved. Everyone at the table knew what was in Drake's mind. Besides, none of them dared to sit next to him.

"Sophia..."

Chloe stood up and was about to exchange seats with her.

Beaming at her, Sophia refused, "It's alright. I can sit here."

She sat next to Drake.

Others could tell the awkwardness in the air, silence blanketing the table.

Fortunately, Chloe and Bailey were good at livening up the atmosphere. Soon, the private box became lively.

During dinner, Sophia and Drake occasionally touched each other by accident.

On the surface, they both were calm, but their hearts fluctuated.

In fact, Sophia could hardly continue eating. However, it was organized by Chloe, so she couldn't just leave.

Sophia kept smiling. When dinner ended, she said, "Chloe, I gotta go. See you tomorrow."

"Wait, Sophia. It's late. I can't let you go home alone. Let me find you a ride."

"I can give you a ride," Drake stood up and suggested.

Others gaped at him in silence.

Everyone could tell he hadn't given up on Sophia. Back then, when they re-encountered, Drake tried to give up on her, but he still couldn't help approaching her.

It happened again this time.

Sophia wanted to refuse, but Drake held her hand and pulled her away.

"Sophia!"

Chloe was worried.

Bailey pressed her down. "Enough. They still have a fate. We cannot do anything."

Chloe still frowned.

Bailey could tell how she felt. "It's alright. Drake won't do anything."

Chloe didn't believe him.

Drake pressed Sophia to sit in the passenger's seat. Before she refused, he warned her, "If you don't wish me to do anything to you, sit still."

His threat worked. Sophia sat obediently.

Drake circled the car and sat in the driver's seat.

Seeing him fasten the seat belt, Sophia gingerly asked, "I'm sitting in this seat. Wouldn't Miss Molly mind it?"

"What do you think my relationship with her is?" Drake glanced at her.

Sophia was surprised, wondering if he was explaining.

However, he broke off and didn't speak again.

Sophia still didn't know the relationship between Molly and him. However, she also didn't have the mood to obtain the answer.

Watching her peek out the window, Drake didn't continue to explain.

In his opinion, it wouldn't make any difference even if he told her the Old Riley insisted on hiring Molly and let him accept her. Sophia had been married and had a lovely daughter. Drake didn't think they could go back.

They kept silent all the way.

When they pulled up to Sophia's apartment, Sophia unbuckled the seat belt and thanked him.

Suddenly, Drake asked, "When will you meet my mother? She misses you."
