Revenge On My First Love novel Chapter 315

Chapter 315 Has She Given Up on Him?

After a while, Baron slowly let go of Emma.

A moment later, he said again. "I will divorce!"

Emma tidied up her clothes and said with a calm expression. "It has nothing to do with me!"

Baron looked at her sadly. Had she completely given up on him?

Maybe it was because there was no more sound inside, plus the fact they had been waiting for a while, Drake and Sophia entered the door.

They had no idea what was going on inside, but the moment Drake opened his mouth, the tense atmosphere was brought to a stalemate again.

"This is my mother's Pure Land. If you have nothing important, don't come here!"

Baron looked up at Drake.

Drake was his son, yet he had never called him father since he was a child. And now he was speaking to him in a rude tone.

"This is my home. I come whenever I want."

Usually, Baron would not say that. Yet today, he was a bit losing his mind.

"Your home?" Drake glanced at him. "This villa is under my name. Oh, yes, I forgot, I have already transferred it to my mother's name, so it's her house now. And she has the right to drive away any uninvited guests."

Emma couldn't help but nod her agreement. Yes, she did have the right to drive Baron away.

At the same time, she also appreciated her son for his thoughtfulness.

Baron looked at Emma in disbelief, but from their behavior, it seemed to be true.

Sophia pulled Baron. "Mr. Riley, you better leave for now."

Although Baron didn't want to leave, when Sophia pulled him, he didn't refuse her suggestion.

Drake wanted to call out to Sophia, but Sophia gave him a look as if to say, "Shut up if you don't know what I'm doing."

Drake touched his nose. He had no guts to go against Sophia!

When Baron was brought out, his anger was erased a lot. He started blaming himself for making things worse. He didn't come for that.

"Mr. Riley, Harris came here for me, actually. But when he arrived, I wasn't there. So he talked with Ms. Glass. You know Ms. Glass' charm. People admire her after hearing her talking for a few seconds."

"Harris is currently on the rise in his career and is in a state of confusion. He wants Ms. Glass to help. Today is the first time they have met. Besides, this might sound harsh, but Harris will soon be the next Mayor, and by then he will be surrounded by young girls. Why would he like Ms. Glass... Mr. Riley, do you understand what I mean?"

Baron's face turned red and then pale when he heard these from his future daughter-in-law. It was terribly embarrassing.

But Sophia didn't laugh at him. "I know your feelings for Ms. Glass these years, but I don't think you are treating Ms. Glass the right way now. I know that you suffer a lot from staying with Olivia during this time. But things will come to an end soon. I don't want you to be in trouble before that. Otherwise, not only Ms. Glass but also Drake would find it hard to accept you."

Baron's body shook suddenly.

Sophia's words made sense and if she didn't remind him, he wouldn't have thought of this.

"Also, I can assure you that there is no man except Drake around Ms. Glass, please don't misjudge her again."

Baron seemed to understand something. "Sophia, thank you, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even realize that I was doing the wrong thing."

"It's okay. Olivia is still planning on something, Mr. Riley, you'd better go back and watch her!"

Speaking of Olivia, Baron thought of something. "Sophia, I have to tell you something. When I passed by Olivia's room that day, I heard that she was planning something against you. It will happen these few days, but I don't know the details. So, you should keep an eye."

Sophia wasn't surprised. Zain suffered a loss from her. He couldn't harm her, so he needed someone else to do that. And who would that person be if not Olivia?

"Thank you, Mr. Riley, I got it."

"Well, then... Please take care of Emma."

"Sure."

After seeing off Baron, Sophia came back.

In the living room, Drake and Emma were talking.

"Mom, would you like to live somewhere else? Now that he knows this place, he will come again!"

Sophia wasn't surprised that Drake didn't want to see Baron coming. After all, in Drake's eyes, Baron was the reason why he had to part with his mother for so long.

"No, Sophia has settled this matter. He won't come again in a short time."

Emma understood that after all that Olivia had done, Baron and Olivia wouldn't possibly end up together. They were meant to divorce, sooner or later.

After the divorce, Baron would cling to Emma.

Emma decided not to bother herself with these things to enjoy the peace at present.

Drake turned to Sophia. "What did you tell him?"

"I told him nothing but reminded him of the current situation."

Drake frowned in suspicion.

Sophia sighed helplessly, "Drake, come with me!"

Drake followed Sophia upstairs to their room.

Sophia felt that she couldn't keep the things from Drake.

"Drake, tell me what you think, do you want your parents to reconcile?"

"He doesn't deserve my mom!"

Baron paid little attention to Olivia and Roman, yet neither did he care much about Drake and Aria over the years.

"I understand the way you feel. You and Aria both have your reasons, but don't forget about one thing.

"If Ms. Glass still has feelings for your father and wants to reconcile with him, you, as a son, can't stop her."

Drake looked at her in disbelief. "When did my mom ever think about getting back together with him?"

Sophia didn't answer but asked. "Alright, think about it. Why hasn't Ms. Glass dated anyone over so many years?"

Drake had never thought of it, but after Sophia said this, he seemed to understand a little bit.

"Do you get it now? Since then, why don't we just let them be? If they decide to give it another try, let's give our best wishes to them. And if the thing doesn't work out, it's their choice as well."

Drake thought deeply.

His father hurt his mother. Therefore, he was angry about it and wanted to protect his mother by all means.

But what if his mother was still in love with his father?

As their son, he could not stop his parents from getting back together.
