My inward self got so excited about the news, I know it will be hard to be friends with her brother, but cause of her safety, I will try my possible best to protect her from those seeking her life and the baby.

I placed some lycans to watch her and protect her from any incoming danger constantly.

"Lorenzo, I haven't seen you this excited for a while; I am happy about this; I think I will be your child godfather," he said with a smirk.

"This the best news I have heard in a very long time, Santiago. Don't worry; my child will take you as her godfather; you have been protecting me all my life, and I know she is free from danger as long as she has you."

"I feel honoured, friend." We shook hands and hugged.

"Santiago, I have a favour to ask of you," I said calmly.

"Let it out."

"You know all the witches are after my unborn child and Nora; I don't know their reasons, but please promise me you will protect her at all time and no harm will come to my baby?"

"You have my word Lorenzo; no harm will get to Nora and the baby; I will protect them with my life."

"Thank you, I know I can always count on you" I gave a brief smile.

"What about your father? He left with anger, and I know he will be so mad at you; you never informed him you found your mate who turns out to come from his enemy family, not only that, she is even carrying your child. What are you going to do about it?" He asked with concern and care?

I took a deep breath before I could think of a response to his questions, yes my father will be mad at me; I should have told him before he found out this way, but still, this doesn't change a thing, correct? She is my mate and pregnant with my baby; he has no other choice than to accept her.

"I will sort out father, and I know he will have no choice but to accept a weak mate as my luna; no wolves are allowed to argue with the matchmaker of our mates we find," I said with a bit of boldness.

"Well, that's true anyway; I will report back to you at the pack." He said.

"Santiago, one more thing." I stopped him.

"What's that?"

"Give me feedback if you ever find the humans in our world." He nodded and left.

"Something keeps telling me he is hiding something from me, Santiago. What are you harbouring that I can't find out? Soon I will know everything."

Father howl has he uprooted a tree from the ground with anger and his eyes already so dark as the alpha Lycan he is.

"I am sorry, father." This was the word I kept saying to him, but it seems it's not working on my aggressive father.

" Lorenzo, I never knew you could bring such a shame to my name; you are working with the enemy of our family?"

"Father, you got it all wrong; yea Nora is my mate, and I should have informed you about it earlier; you need to forgive me, father", I pleaded.

"You are a disgrace, mating with her already; you need to forget her, okay?"

" Enough, father, enough, who do you think is the cause of this? You father, you made us enemy, she almost got killed, guess why they came for the wolf custom, to avenge Nora death unknowing she Is alive, you are the one that brought pains" I yelled at father, this made him used his deadly fangs on me as I cried in pains.

"How dare you talk back at me, son? I can see their negative effect on you has started; they wish to use you against me; it can never happen."

"What do I expect from a man like you, an alpha who can lock up his Luna for year's all because she carries her original duty, and you are the one at fault; you have no conscience."

He brought out his fangs angrily again, and I said with boldness,' Remove my heart, father, I know you are capable, but please spare my mate and your granddaughter unborn." He dashed out angrily, and I took a deep breath.

I decided to visit my mom at her prison without sneaking in as before; the guards dare not stop. Otherwise, they will be having a fight with me which can't happen.

"Mother!" I called, sitting on the ground facing her but got separated from the prison cage.

"Lorenzo, what happened to you? You fight with your father?"

"I might be arrogant, mom, but I can never fight father; he did this to punish me, I found my mate mother, and I am sorry I never informed you all, I hid her name because she is just a weak Lycan and a hybrid."

"Wow, I knew my son is going to find his mate; your father just lost his temper, so forgive him, son."

I wonder the kind of heart mother has to give excuses for the one person who locked her up in here.

"Mother, you don't hate the fact I said she is a hybrid?"

"Provided she is your mate, I must accept her for who she is, okay?"

"Thanks, mom; she is half-wolf and got a witch blood. But?"

Mom gave me a curious look so that I tell her why the but.

"She is carrying my child."

Mother eyes widened hearing this from me.

"Lorenzo, you need to hold the wedding soon and make all the rites. Hence the baby might not make it; you are supposed to mate with her after marriage rites; this should be why your father is angry at you."

"I have no choice mother, I will do the wedding, but I doubt if the father will agree."

"Yes, he will; I know I won't be able to attend your wedding, but please do bring her here to visit, me okay?" I nodded in approval.
