Alice paused and then turned to look at Yanis. She said, “We can hide first.”

“What?”

Yanis didn’t understand what she meant, but she was pulled by Alice and hid in the corner next to them. When Cindy saw their action, she suddenly reacted and followed them to hide in the corner.

She looked at Alice with admiration and said, “You are so smart that you can guess Hugo’s mind.”

Alice remembered that Yanis and herself went to the set to find Kate. They also found a taxi when they left.

It seemed that the drivers in B City were kind-hearted.

“Is it all right? I think it’s dangerous for you two to visit this area, so I waited here for a while. I have planned to call the police if you don’t come out.”

Alice didn’t say anything.

Why did Zain come here?

She thought for a while and then looked at Yanis next to her. She immediately picked up the document to cover her face and coughed lightly.

Yanis must have told Zain that she was injured.

Yanis said in low voice, “I didn’t tell him, I only told Jack.”

She had disgraced herself in front of Zain. She didn’t dare to send any message to him. She was embarrassed to meet him now.

“Zain.” Alice stood up and smiled gently. She said, “Why have you come here? I have to work overtime tonight. I can’t treat you.”

“Do you think that I just came to greet you?” Zain walked around the table and held her wrist. He said, “Let’s go home.”

Alice’s face changed and she said, “No, I have to work overtime tonight.”

“Your hands were injured. Do you still want to work tonight?” Zain’s face darkened and he stared at her with displeasure. Alice said, “Zain, I’m fine now.”

“Don’t work tonight. Come back home with me, or I’ll send you to the hospital.”
