Second Marriage novel Chapter 154

In fact, Charlotte's working ability was relatively strong, plus she had experience, so sorting out these materials was quite handy. The people did not know what she did before and did not know she could follow Kennedy’s footsteps when she was with Kennedy.

People only saw the surface and thought that Charlotte was a woman who got there by climbing into his bed or other means.

Now the president hated her, so he demoted her.

The materials were given to with the purpose to make things difficult to her, so they were delighted and wanted to see the demoted newcomer humiliated on her first day. When the time comes, they would go directly to Mr. Kennedy to accuse her, may they would be able to drive her out of the Moore Group.

As the minutes passed, Charlotte stayed at her desk and sorted out the material carefully from the moment she got them back, no matter what the people behind her said.

People got anxious seeing that she was so calm.

"What is she pretending? Does she can sort out all the materials in an hour?"

"Gee, the materials ware for a meeting later. If any faults are found, she would be in trouble. Now she is calm, but later she would to kneel for mercy!"

"Why doesn't she move? Does she thing she is capable?"

"Ten minutes to an hour, hey, newcomer...There's still time for you to beg!”

Charlotte ignored them. She had sat for a long time, so she wanted to pee. It was almost finished, and she would finish it in five minutes.

After it had been done, Charlotte took a look at the time and went to the bathroom.

As soon as she left, a group of people approached.

"It seems that it's all sorted out." A yellow-haired girl, Mandy, approached to take a look and found that the material was actually very neat.

"How can that be?” Ivy widened her eyes and looked at the materials in disbelief, “Doesn’t she know nothing? How could it be so fast? It has not reached to an hour yet!"

Mandy bit her lower lip, “But Ivy, these have obviously finished. What should we do? Shall we let her show off on the first day she comes to our department?"

"No way!” Ivy sneered. " Jessica said we should do something bad to this new comer. There is no way for her to pass."

"Well, what are we going to do?” Mandy asked in a low voice.

Ivy smiled sullenly.

After coming back from bathroom, Charlotte was in pale on face when she sat back on the seat.

Although she took medicine on time every day, her stomach sometimes felt bad. Maybe it was related to her mood and rest. For the sake of her child, she must adjust her state of mind.

Charlotte was ready to print out the materials, but found that the computer screen was dark.

Her face changed. She clicked hard on the mouse, but the screen was still black.

It seemed to have been switched off

Charlotte pressed the power button again, and sure enough, the screen lit up. After waiting nervously for about a minute, the computer restarted. When she clicked on the page just now, only to find that all the materials she had sorted out had been deleted.

"Ha ha ~" there came a few snickering. Charlotte turned her head and found Mandy and Ivy gloating and laughing. See her look at them, they stared at her arrogantly. It seemed that they were not worried about being found they did it.

Charlotte frowned and stood up suddenly, “Did you turn off my computer?"

After listening to this, Ivy stood up and looked at Charlotte with her hands crossing in front of her and said, "What evidence do you have to prove that we turn off your computer? There had been a long time that no one sat in your position. It took a long time to turn on that computer and it often has a problem. You should blame yourself did not save the materials."

"I saved it, but you deleted it." Charlotte said coldly.

"Haha, excuse me, did you see us delete it? If the computer breaks down and turns off, the file could lose. Why blame on us? New comer, if you fail to finish your task, you can’t blame on others."

Mandy stood up too and said with sarcasm, “You are incapable, and blame on others. No wonder you got demoted. Are you going to blame someone else every time when you fail your task? In that case, I think you're going to get kicked out, or...Why don't you just be a cleaner? Don't come to our department to waste resources, you know to turn on a computer needs electricity, ok?"

Ivy was satisfied with Mandy’s words, so after they looked at each other, Ivy spread her hands, “An hour has passed. When the supervisor comes, I would like to see how you explain. If you can’t do a good job, get out of our department."

Charlotte took a deep breath. Before she said anything, the supervisor had come over.

"What are you standing here?" Asked the supervisor, looking rather sour.

"Supervisor, you asked this new comer to sort out materials, but she has not yet finished it, and she did not tell you in advance. Supervisor, you have to take the materials to the president to have a meeting!" Mandy said to the supervisor.

Ivy was no longer arrogant but now looked pitiful, “Supervisor, forgive her, she is a new comer. Sorting out materials is difficult. She has got demoted, so certainly she won't have this ability. Forgive her."

The supervisor stated at Charlotte and said angrily, “Do you want to frame me on your first day at work?"

Charlotte stood in place and said nothing. Even if she explained, it was of no use. The supervisor put pressure on her as soon as she came.

"OK, you want to frame me, I won’t take the blame. Go to conference room with me to admit your mistake!" With that, the supervisor stretched out her hand to pull Charlotte's arm.

Charlotte took a step back, avoiding the man’s touch and said coolly, "I can walk by myself."

The supervisor withdrew his hand and said impatiently, "All right, come with me right now."

Expressionless, Charlotte walked to take her backpack, pulled out a U disk from the computer interface, had it in her palm and followed the supervisor to leave.

After they left, Mandy talked to Ivy.

"Why did she take her bag? And she seemed to take something from the computer."

"I don't know, we have deleted the materials anyway. It doesn’t matter what she took!"
