Second Marriage novel Chapter 197

Charlotte thought about it for a while and looked up at Kennedy and said, "Don't believe him. It is not true. He just wanted to save his company!"

"Ok." Kennedy curled his lips and sneered, "Tell me, what have she done wrong?"

Hearing that, Charlotte was nervous. Would Kennedy just believe it?

Aldrich was pleased and did not notice that Kennedy’s eyes become cold. He excitedly said, "When I took my wife to the hospital last time, I found Charlotte was in the hospital, so I went to talk to her, but later a man come out to talk to her, and they looked intimate. They should have an affair. Mr. Kennedy, when this woman was with me, she cheated me during our marriage. Since you are in the wheelchair and don't have that ability, she may go out and mess around with other men!"

Aldrich said complacently, as if he had had someone to help him. He had evil eyes and did not notice that Kennedy was staring a him with cold and sharp eyes after he finished his words.

“Mr. Kennedy, what I said is truth. Charlotte is indeed a shameful slut.”

Charlotte standing beside was speechless.

She thought Aldrich would tell Kennedy that he had never had sex with her, but he slandered her and said she was a slut.

She was angry and regretted that why she took a fancy on such a man before. She didn’t like him anymore, and now she felt sick about her. But, she felt relieved.

She was afraid that Kennedy would doubt about the child.

“Really?” Kennedy curled up his lips and showed a wry smile. He stared at Charlotte, “Is she really a slut?”

Aldrich nodded, “Yes, she is a slut, Mr. Kennedy, that is the reason I divorced with her.”

“Oh? So you mean my wife is a slut?”

Aldrich nodded, “Yes, she is.”

Speaking of this, he realized there was something wrong, “No, Mr. Kennedy, I don’t mean that. I just want you not to be cheated. Charlotte is not a good woman. You should abandon her and find a better one.”

“And you said I am imponent?” Kennedy seemed not to hear his explanation

Aldrich’s face changed, he said, “I…”

“Who are you? How dare you say Mr. Kennedy is imponent? Do you ger tired of living?”

Charlotte did not expect that happened. She stood still and took a look at Kennedy in confuse.

“Mr. Kennedy, I didn’t mean that, I just… I just…”

“You said that, didn’t you?” Kennedy sneered, “So you came to the Moore Group and tell me about this? Boring. Nathan.”

“Yes.” Nathan came to Aldrich, “Get out of here. Mr. Kennedy doesn’t want to see you again. And you don’t wish your company will come back to it feet. If we see you come to Mrs. Moore again, we will not spare you.”

Aldrich was reluctant to go and wanted to beg him. But Kennedy’s breath was cold as if he was covered with black cloud. He dared not say anything but nodded. And then he got up and walked away quickly.

After he left, Charlotte was still standing still. Kennedy shouted, “Come here.”

Hearing that, Charlotte took a look at him, “You…”

What was it about his attitude? He didn’t believe what Aldrich said?

“Do you want to go with him?” Kennedy’s tone was cold. Charlotte came back to her sense and walked to him. Nathan stood aside and let her to push Kennedy.

“He is the reason you protect the child desperately? He slandered you for the sake of his future. Charlotte, you have a suck taste.”

Charlotte, “…”

She showed a bitter smile, “You come to laugh at me?”

“Do you feel wronged?” Kennedy snorted and his eyes became dark, “He slandered you, why do you still keep the child?”

Charlotte, “Can you not mention the child, it is innocent.”

“Innocent?” Kennedy asked Charlotte to stop. Charlotte stopped without knowing why, “This child is innocent, and you are innocent? I heard that Manfred transferred you.”

Hearing that, Charlotte paused. She looked at the back of Kennedy’s head, “So? I didn’t ask him to do so.”

“Charlotte, good for you. You can even have Manfred supported you.”

Charlotte was motionless and did not want to push him.

“Go on.” Kennedy said in a cold voice, “Go home with me everyday after work.”

Charlotte widened her eyes, “What? With you? Do you want me to go to word with you everyday?”

“Is there a problem? You are my wife. Is there a problem that we go to work and go home together?”

“Yes, we are not in the same department. I used to go to work by bus. Let’s do it as before.”

Kennedy leered at her, “Do you think I will give you a change to seduce Manfred? From tomorrow on, come back to my office.”

“What?” Charlotte widened her eyes in surprise.

“Be my assistant.”

Charlotte looked at him in daze for a while, and then she sneered, “Kennedy, do you think it is funny to fool me? I am telling you, I am good in my department. I won’t go either of you.”

With that, she was to turn to leave, but Kennedy grabbed her wrist, “You can refuse to go to Manfred, but you have no right to refuse me. Get in to the car.”

“No.” she struggled forcefully, trying to take her hand back, but Kennedy had much strength, holding her tightly, so that she could not shake his hand off.

Charlotte flushed out of anger, “Kennedy, let go. I don’t want to agree. Don’t I have right to choose where I stay?”

“Since the moment you married into the Moore family, you should be obedient to me.” With a force, Kennedy held her into his arms and circled her waist with one hand.

They were at the door of the company and this scene was caught by other employees.

Charlotte was frightened and pushed him with force, “Let go of me.”

“Dare you push me away? Believe it or not, I will kiss you here?”
