Second Marriage novel Chapter 206

“You must be here to revenge me, as Kennedy required.” Charlotte stroked her skin felt faint pain.

Now that she was in the elevator, she had no chance to run.

“Mrs. Moore, if you talk to me like this downstairs, you’ll be laughed at by other employees, and then I will have no control over what people will say.”

Was that a threat? Charlotte looked at him, but Nathan moved away his eyes as if he had sensed of something, pretending nothing happened.

Soon, they arrived at the first floor. When the elevator door opened, Nathan was standing behind her. “After you, Mr. Moore.”

Helplessly, Charlotte did not want to become a joke, so she could only go out. Nathan followed her.

“They shouldn’t be far away from the company, so we’ll just look around nearby.”

At this point, Charlotte paused, “Can we find them?”

“Of course.” Nathan was confident. In fact, when they met, Nathan asked about it and got the information about his whereabouts from Kennedy.

If Kennedy had given him the clue, he would not be able to find them.

After all, there were so many stores. Who knew where he would go?

“But just now Diana has invited me, I refused. If I come to them now, will it......” When Charlotte thought of this, she hesitated again.

Nathan didn’t give her a chance to think at all. “So what? You can say you suddenly become hungry. Mrs. Kennedy, be careful Mr. Kennedy would be stolen one day.”

In fact, she did not think about this problem. She was depressed, if not Nathan dragged her down, she really would not got to find them.

But it was what she wanted to do.

Come on, just go.

“Mrs. Kennedy, face is not so important. Besides, if Mr. Kennedy is really stolen by your good friend, isn’t that more embarrassing?”

It was reasonable, and she had no word to refute.

No, Charlotte suddenly came back to her sense, “Nonsense, we just came to have dinner with him. You look like you’re trying to catch adultery.”

Nathan touched his head and smiled awkwardly.

Well, as long as Mrs. Moore came with him, it mattered more than anything.

Charlotte had been following Nathan, feeling that Nathan made detours. He did not try hard to find them and soon they walked into a restaurant.

“Mrs. Moore, this is it.”

Charlotte took a look at him, and then looked inside along his sight. Through the glass, she saw two people sitting by the window. Kennedy and Diana were not sitting face to face, but next to each other.

Holding the menu, Diana had been taking with Kennedy. Her collar tilted down, but not revealed too much. It was slightly tilted. If you said she was intentional, she seemed to be unintentional. If you said she was unintentional, she seemed to be deliberate.

“Wow, you see that, Mrs. Moore? You saw it with your own eyes. Diana deliberately gets close to Mr. Kennedy, and exposes her shoulders. She obviously has bad intentions. Do you still believe her?”

Charlotte stared at the two men inside, looking steadily and keeping silent.

Nathan, “...Mrs. Moore, shall we go in?”

“No!” Seeing that Nathan was going to get up and go inside, Charlotte quickly reached out and grabbed his clothes to stop him.

She stared at the two inside, as if she was thinking.

Suddenly, Kennedy seemed to have sensed of something, he took a glance at her direction, and Charlotte suddenly felt it. She was frightened and directly dragged to squat down, hid in the corner and smoothly avoided Kennedy’s sight.

“Mr. Kennedy, do you think we should eat this, or this?” Diana took the menu and deliberately leaned forward her body to get close to Kennedy. She wore elegant perfume, red lipstick and breathable makeup, which made her look pure and flawless.

Diana was confident about herself. If Kennedy didn’t like Charlotte, she should be able to get Kennedy’s favor if she tried hard.

After all, she believed that Kennedy would be tempted to her face.

Diana suddenly found Kennedy was staring at the outside. She paused and then looked along his sight, “Mr. Kennedy, what is it? What’s out there?”

Then she rose to her feet.

“Nothing.” Kennedy took back her eyes. His eyes became cold and he pressed his lips into a straight line.

Diana was not discouraged. She curled her lips and smiled softly, “Mr. Kennedy, what would you like to eat?”

“Whatever, you order.” Kennedy lifted his eyes and took a sharp look at her, which scared Diana, as if there was a knife flying toward her, but slowly she accept it.

Before she get the heart of a man as cold as a block of ice, his heart would be difficult to be melted. But once it was melted, he would hotter than flint.

She must not miss him.

Get him! Get him!

Diana coquettishly smiled and tried to make her voice softer, “Ok, I order.”

So she called the waiter and ordered a few dishes.

Kennedy frowned hearing that. After the waiter left, he looked thoughtfully at Diana.

“Do you know what I like to eat?”

Hearing his inquiry, Diana shyly lowered her eyes and said in a soft voice, “I heard it inadvertently, Mr. Kennedy, will you mind?”

“Oh?” Kennedy raised his eyebrow and there was sarcasm in his smile, “Inadvertently?”

“Yes.” Diana blushed and was shy, “In fact, when our company cooperated with you, Megan had arranged your information, I had read that information and then I remember.”

Squatting outside, Charlotte heard their conversation. She squatted quietly, watching.

Nathan could not help retching, “Damn, Mrs. Moore, your good friend is disgusting, what is on earth in her mind? Look at her face. Are you going to tell me now that she’s not that kind of person?”

After teasing, Nathan found that Charlotte was too quiet.

Then he took a look at Charlotte and found her eyes were calm. She fixed her eyes on the front, but her face was expressionless.

“Mrs. Moore?”

“Nathan...Let’s go back.”
