Second Marriage novel Chapter 266

Nathan was calm seeing the scene. After a moment, he calmly said, “You are wrong.”

With that, he stretched out his hand around Yanis’ neck to pull her to his arms, calmly said to her, “I will send you back to the room.”

Yanis was still in shock, before she had any move, she was dragged away.

Then in her own room, Yanis felt she had been almost sobered up!

“Just now...I saw Mr. Kennedy...”

“You're drunk.” Nathan coldly stared at her, “You didn't see anything.”

“Really?” Yanis asked with a wink, looking so cute. But she had just seen the man standing up.

What was that? Mr. Kennedy was disabled, how can he stand up?

“Yes.” Nathan stared at her seriously, “Now you need to sleep, everything will return to normal when you wake up tomorrow.”

“Oh.” Yanis nodded and then turned around toward her bed. When she got the edge of the bed, she lied down on it, tilted her head and soon fell asleep.

Nathan standing in the room, “......”

Yanis’ breathing quickly became even. He felt relieved after determined that she was really asleep. Nathan turned out of the room and closed the door.

When he closed the door, his face was grave.

Then he went back to the living room, where the tall, handsome man had sat back on the wheelchair, holding Charlotte in his arms, staring at him grimly.

“She saw that?”

The sound of Kennedy was cold and heartless, as the December frost.

Nathan nodded his head and shook his head, with cold sweat on his back.

“Mr. Kennedy, she is very drunk and will probably forget it by tomorrow.”

Kennedy was silent, and the atmosphere in the room was frightfully cold. Nathan hesitated, but finally begged for her favor, “She is a good friend of Mrs. Moore. If you do something to her, Mrs. Moore would not agree.”

As his words fell, Kennedy looked sharply at him. Nathan dared not raise his head to the vision of Kennedy, he could only lowered his eyes and his shoulder as far as possible.

“Are you interceding for her? Nathan.”

Nathan's forehead was covered with cold sweat too, and his voice was trembling, “No, no! I am just telling the truth!”

“Oh, really?” Kennedy sneered out loud, “For she drank with this woman, I should have made a move on her, but......”

But what? Nathan wanted to know how Kennedy dealt with it, but he did not dare to ask too much.

Time passed second by second. As Nathan thought Yanis would die, he finally heard Kennedy’s voice.

“This was an exception. Stay to deal with the rest, you should know the seriousness of the matter.”

Nathan was surprised and suddenly raised his head, “So you won’t pursue her responsibility?”

“Yes, but it doesn't mean you can relax.”

“Yes!” Nathan nodded his head immediately and said with effort, “I will stay and clean up here. When she wakes up, I will ask her clearly. Don't worry about it, Mr. Kennedy. I know what to do.”

After getting the answer, Kennedy had no reason to stay. Besides, the woman in his bosom was restless. She seemed uncomfortable and had been moving in Kennedy’s bosom. The smell of wine and barbecue stimulated him.

He would have thrown her out if he could not bear to do so.

“Silly woman, you are really disobedient.” Kennedy lowered his head and kissed angrily on her ruddy lips.

Charlotte hummed lightly in drunkenness, patted his hand. Before she could patted on his face, Kennedy grasped her wrist, “I gotta go, you stay.”

“Ok, Mr. Kennedy.”

Kennedy left with Charlotte. Gradually it became quiet. After Kennedy left, the original cold temperature around slowly returned to the usual temperature.

Nathan really got cold sweat. Only he and Annie knew that Kennedy was not really disabled, even Mrs. Moore did not know it.

As Mrs. Moore almost knew it, Kennedy told him to kill her, which scared him badly.

What was the attitude of Mr. Kennedy to Mrs. Moore? In his view, Mr. Kennedy was tempted by Charlotte, but he still told him to kill her.

What about Yanis?

She was just an ordinary employee. Would she die faster?

So he was really scared. Fortunately... Mr. Kennedy let Yanis go.

It seemed that Mr. Kennedy was different now, after all... He didn't do much of what he said.

And this kind of change might have something to do with Mrs. Moore...

Thinking of this, Nathan stretched out his hand to wipe the sweat on his forehead, and then turned to enter the room. He looked at Yanis lying on the bed and helplessly shook his head.

Fortunately, she was really drunk and brainless.

If she was not drunk...

Alas, Nathan did not dare to think.

After Kennedy left with Charlotte from Yanis’ home, they got in the car.

The driver came with them. After the driver helped open the door, he pushed Kennedy’s wheelchair into the car and then closed the door.

“Mr. Kennedy, are we going home?” The driver dared not take a look at Charlotte. After he got into the car, he respectfully asked.

Kennedy was stunned. He wanted to take Charlotte back home.

But......The woman was making so much noise recently that he had little time to look after her at home...

After thinking for a while, Kennedy pursed lips and said, “Go to the H Villa.”

“Yes, Mr. Kennedy.”

The car made a quick turn in the dark and quickly disappeared downstairs.

Kennedy lowered his head to gaze at Charlotte, who was now quieter than before. Her delicate eyebrows tightly wrinkled and her lips were pale but watery.

H Villa was the private property of Kennedy, which nobody knew. Every year on the anniversary of his mother's death, he would go there to live alone for two or three days. Now he went there ahead of time, the driver was quite surprised.

And most important of all, Mr. Kennedy took this woman there.

What did he mean by that? Did he like Charlotte?

The driver was slightly surprised.

He had been working for Kennedy for many years and was one of Kennedy’s right-hand staff.

Therefore, he had known something, but he never asked.
