Second Marriage novel Chapter 277

His strength was so great that Charlotte could only shout at him, “Kennedy. What are you doing? Stop it!”

Kennedy, as if not hearing her words, did not stop his move.

Charlotte was nervous, stretched out her hand to press his restless big hand, “Don't untie my buttons!”

In the rising fog, Kennedy found that Charlotte’s face became ruddy and looked shy. He showed a smile, “If you don’t untie buttons, how do you take a bath?”

Charlotte blushed. She resisted the impulse to push him away and reached out to protect her buttons. “Don't, let go of me.”

“Why are you so shy? The more she resisted, the more Kennedy wanted to be close to her. Their clothes got wet by the hot water. Kennedy let Charlotte lie on his body.

Charlotte panicked and she called him by name, “Kennedy!”

“Yes.” He replied, putting his large hand through the hem of her dress.

“Don't you forget, you will regret it!”

Hearing that, Kennedy became stiff, even the smile on his face froze. After a moment he slowly let of Charlotte.

Yeah, if he got aroused, he could not have her for the sake of the child in her belly.

So why was he here taking a bath with her?

Thinking of this, Kennedy gave a wry smile, “You are right. You take a shower first. Come out when you finish.”

With that, Kennedy let go of her, turned around and left.

Charlotte become stunned in situ, looking at Kennedy went out with a body dripping water.

She had thought he would not let her go, but he did so soon...

Charlotte was sorry to see that his clothes were wet. She could not help calling out to him, “Kennedy...”

Kennedy was stunned and then looked back in a minute, staring at her gently, “Hurry to take a shower. I will not let you go if you call me again.”

He closed the door behind him, leaving Charlotte alone in the bathroom. Considering that Kennedy's clothes were all wet, she took a shower quickly and put on clean clothes to go out.

The room was empty. Rebecca was wiping the water stains on the ground. Seeing that she came out, she gave a smile, “Mrs. Moore, have you finished taking shower? Just a moment, I'll clean up and then I'll dry your hair.”

With that, Rebecca bent over to work.

Charlotte felt sorry to see that she bent over to clean the floor.

“No, I can dry by myself. Clean here and you can leave. It is quite late.”

Rebecca was moved and looked at her, “Thank you, Mrs. Moore. Mr. Kennedy is taking shower in the next room.”

She walked out after she finished cleaning. Charlotte thought Rebecca was going back, so she took a dry towel to wipe her hair. After sitting for a while, Rebecca came back soon after. She held a cup in her hand and put it in front of Charlotte.

“I heard from Mr. Kennedy said you sat on the beach for a long time and your clothes got wet. I am afraid that you will catch cold, so I specially cooked some soup for you. Mrs. Moore, drink.”

Charlotte, “...Well......” She paused for a moment. Looking at the smoke above the hot soup, Charlotte felt it was unreal.

It was the first time in her life that she had been taken care of so well.

She had never thought of this day would come.

“Thank you.” Charlotte looked at Rebecca gratefully and drank the cup of soup.

Rebecca liked Charlotte. Though she was Mrs. Moore, she was not arrogant. Kennedy and Charlotte were different from those rich guys who thouthy they were superior than others because they were rich and never take servant serious and always loudly scolded at them for trifle things.

The servants might get beaten if they were not careful, but there was nothing to be done about it...

Everyone had to put up with the excoriation in order to get that high salary.

But since they had been here, they enjoyed freedom they had never enjoyed before. In spite of the cold face and cold words of Kennedy, they were only alienated from him, and he never scolded them so long as they kept to themselves.

This man was a god to them.

“Mrs. Moore, go to bed early, I gotta go.”

“Ok.”

After she left, Charlotte continued to dry her hair. When she had dried her hair and was ready to go to bed, Kennedy had not come back. She had to go to the next door to take a look, and she actually heard the sound of water flowing. Hadn’t this man finished taking shower yet?

Charlotte did not want to wait for him, and she was so sleepy that she went back to her room to go to sleep.

When sleeping in a daze, she felt the bedside went down a little bit, and then a slightly cool body stuck over, and then embraced her waist. The bed was warm, this cool made Charlotte involuntarily shiver. She subconsciously moved forward to leave that cool body.

The person behind was slightly stunned. After lying in the bed for a moment, and when his body temperature rose up, he hugged her.

This time, Charlotte did not escape.

It was a sound sleep.

When Charlotte woke up in the next day, she found her phone lied quietly in her bedside with a note that Kennedy left, reminding her to have breakfast.

Charlotte felt warm in heart. It seemed that Kennedy agree her t communicate with the outside world.

Thinking of this, Charlotte got up to and had breakfast, Rebecca and she chatted at the table, Charlotte found that the servants did not look good with no spirit.

“What's the matter with you all?” Charlotte asked doubtfully.

Hearing this, Rebecca answered, “Last night they looked for you for a long time. Later they were scared and lost sleep. So they didn't look very good.”

Charlotte frowned. “Looked for me for a long time? Haven't I been here all the time? Has anything happened?”

“Don't you know, Mrs. Moore?” Rebecca told Charlotte what happened last night.

No wonder last night when Kennedy found her, he directly pulled her to the arms and hugged her tightly, and then said some strange words. So there was twist in it.

With this in mind, Charlotte took a look at the phone on the desk.

So before last night, Kennedy was always worried that she would run away from here, so he was never willing to return the phone to her. After knowing her mind, he returned the phone to himself?
