~ THEME SONG OF THE CHAPTER ~

      { Butterfly Effect By Travis Scott }

IRIS'S POV~~

I would be crashed drastically by heaven gods if I admitted that I wasn't feeling hypnotised under his intense gaze. His blue eyes were stuck on my baffled face as if it was looking through every inche of my emotions. He kept our eye contact for a few seconds not bothering to answer my previous question before speaking through his pursued lips,

" Can you move now, Miss Young?"

I made an awkward hum sound before shifting further away and rubbed the hem of my skirt uncomfortably. He checked the door lock once assuring that it wasn't opened by me. Then he turned around his domineering silhouette to face me warning again seriously,

" Do not step into the places where you shouldn't go, Miss Young. Maintain your distance from my personal staffs until I tell you to do something. You get that?"

I nodded comprehensively as he walked pass by me before grabbing a blue zipped file from his personal drawers where I spotted a picture framed inside. Due to his rush movement, I couldn't spot the whole picture that left a deep impression on my heart.

Who was that little girl?

I frowned slightly wandering that he could have asked anyone to bring the file over there. Why did he bother to come on his own?

Despite having much detective thoughts,I didn't dare to ask anything as he intended to walk away.

Halting in his track, his cold voice echoed in my ear domineeringly as usual,

" Meet me in the guest room, Miss Young. You need to grasp out of my lifestyle."

I answered affirmatively as I saw him pushing open the door before walking fast.

Few minutes later, I washed off myself once again before heading for the guest room as curiosity spreaded through my mind. The two muscular bodyguards knew my status thus they opened the door for me respectively as I stomped onto a soft red carpet.

But the following moment, my eyes dimmed at the pitiful sight that was playing ahead of mine. The mighty president was seated on the couch crossing his legs together like a king of hell as one of his arm rested on the handset leisurely. His usual ocean eyes emitted an aura of killing intent as I slowly approached by his right side cautiously.

What the hell is happening here? Was he going to play a game here?

Over the ground, a man at his forties in a blue retro European suite was crying desperately in a dishevelled state. His white eyes were watered up as he kept staring at the president begging silently. The blue file that I had seen earlier in his office was now thrown in the floor falling down like a trash piece in front of that old pitiful man.

I stood at a corner away from the cruel monster that I had assumed already in my head and listened his ruthless tone,

" Mr Jackson, I warned you several times before working with me that I hate being betrayed doing business. Still you have crossed your boundaries and tried to bring bad reputation on my company. Tell me, did I do anything unfair to you during our deal?"

The hazard man shook his head instantly before replying abruptly,

" I.. I turned blind in love, Mr President. I.. I never thought that the other party would use a woman to defame me. I.. I trusted her too much but.. she stabbed me at the end.. "

He whined before bursting into slow sobbing that successfully hit the soft corner of my heart.

I was clueless of his blatant words and tried to predict the whole story inside my head but President's merciless voice interrupted my thoughts,

" That's your foolishness, Mr.Jackson. Being a president of the renowned company, how could you trust a mere woman who just came into your life for a few days?"

I gulped down my saliva nervously and turned back my attention to the man howling over the marble ground.

He sobbed terribly and replied quite boldly,

" You.. you won't understand, Mr President. You.. you were never been in love.. "

Mr President sneered before replying leaning against the couch leisurely,
