Chapter Fifty One

Mushk was in deep thinking, when Yasmin along with Hana and Hussain entered the house. They confusedly looked at the duo, while Irtaza stood at a corner of the room Mushk sat on the dining table.

"What happened?" Yasmin breaks the awkward air and asks him, Irtaza sighs and stands straight.

"I have a plan... Mom." Irtaza tells Yasmin who nods at him urging to continue.

"We all know Zohan is again trying to trap Mushk, so I thought to trap him in his own web. I told Mushk to sign the divorce papers." His last words make everyone still.

"But after that?... What will happen? We all know he has the higher chances to win the kids custody." Yasmin worriedly asks his son who was too calm for the situation.

"Mom, till her divorce period, she can't leave the house, after filing for divorce the court hearing for custody case will be after her divorce period, that will be 4 months and 10 days, Mustafa is having a speedy recovery who knows he might get up in these 4 months?" Irtaza's plan did have an impact on them, when Mushk broke the silence.

"What if.. Mustafa doesn't wake up in those months? What will I do then? I can't take such a big risk." Tears on the verge of falling ,Mushk whispers to them.

"She's also right Irtaza, what will we do then?" Yasmin asks his son.

"I've a back up plan for that too mom." Irtaza slyly tells them.

"What is it?" Mushk asks him, hope shining in her eyes.

For the first time in these months, he saw something lighting up in her eyes, making him look at her with googly eyes.

He comes out of his trance ,when his mother hits him and gives a look stating "I'll-chop-your-head-if-you-say-something-wrong-right-now".

Gulping at his mother, he averts his eyes and looks down.

"About that... I can't tell that I'm sorry, but please trust me. " Irtaza rushes his sentence.

"But..." Yasmin protests but Irtaza holds her hands.

"Mom please, I'm your son don't you know me? Please just trust me on this and of all people, you very well know that I'll never ever try to ruin Mushk’s life at any costs." Irtaza pleads her mother looking in her eyes.

Yasmin smiles at his son, and kisses his forehead.

"Mushk, come with me child. It's been so long since we had a nice chat." Yasmin motions to Mushk who follows her to the living room.

Settling down on the sofa ,Yasmin takes her hands in hers and adoringly looks at her.

"Do you trust your mother enough to let her take this decision?" ,Yasmin softly asks her. Mushk, without even hesitating once, bobs her head up and down, making her chuckle.

"Then trust me when I say Irtaza isn't wrong. He is ready to take up the blame if anything goes wrong and when you trust me, trust my son too. I know him very well, he won't let us down and I'm sure whatever trick he has up his sleeves, it's going to work hundred percent." Yasmin explains to her and sits eagerly, waiting for Mushk’s reaction.
