Henry was unsettled all through the morning. Kathleen had been giving him the cold shoulders for weeks now. She had been acting indifferent.

"Let's head to the conference room." Henry stood up and headed in the direction of the conference room.

Lately, the shareholders were having one complain after the other.

Were they questioning his authority as the CEO?

"Funny." He scoffed.

The conference room was brightly lit. The shareholders were all seated comfortably on their respective seats.

Henry walked into the room,and headed straight to the CEO's chair.

"Sorry for keeping you guys waiting. Let's start." He sat on the chair with the air and imposing presence of a CEO.

"We would like an explanation for the current situation." A shareholder said.

"What situation?" Henry smirked.

The shareholder that just spoke wasn't so happy when he became the CEO.

He had been opposing him on grounds that he was young and inexperienced.

He had proven him wrong, stunning him and other shareholders as well,with his capability.

This time wasn't any different...

The shareholder glared at him,

"We would like an explanation... Don't play with us, Mr Henry."

The meeting dragged on for hours...

As usual, the shareholders were stumped by him.

Kathleen lay on her back, sunbathing. She had decided to take the day off.

She was in a very different mood.

"Let's see how he deals with it when his Corporation is faced with multiple problems."

She picked up and placed it close to her ears,

"Speak," It was her assistant.

"What!!! What do you mean he resolved the issue" Kathleen sat up straight.

Was Henry so capable? If he was, then....

"Go ahead with plan B... Start buying shares, anonymously of course.." She hung up.

She was going to buy shares from other shareholders...

"You wouldn't even know what hit you,my handsome and capable fiance." She smirked as she lay back.

Since he so badly wanted to play games with her, she would entertain and accompany him.

He just needed a little more push and he would come running to her.

Just then she received another call...

'What again?'

She glanced at the caller ID and smirked.

Henry...

But wasn't it so soon?

'Hah... Capable indeed...'

"Kathleen speaking..." She placed the call on loud speaker.

"Would you like to meet up? For a dinner date, perhaps?" Henry husky tone sounded from the other end.

"Is it a request or an order?" Kathleen's mind was actually racing even as she tried to remain calm.

Dinner date!!!

When was the last time they had one?

But she didn't want to sound eager. She tried to make her voice remain as calm as possible.

"I'm in Los Angeles, I hope you know that?" Kathleen questioned lazily.

"You can fly down here. Think about it and give me your response." He hung up the call without waiting for her response.

She didn't mind; this was a good start.

Should she go ahead with the plan B or cancel it?

On second thoughts, she decided to go ahead with the plan..

She wasn't going to lay her eggs in one basket.

Henry could be unpredictable at times... What if this was just a farce?

She called her assistant to book a flight for her to California, immediately.

Though her assistant was surprised,'he' didn't ask any questions.

Henry clasped his hands over each other. Immediately he hung up the call with Kathleen, he smirked.

Though she tried hard to hide it, he could sense excitement in her voice.

Who was she trying to fool?

He was going to marry her and make Quinn jealous.
