Lily was about to reach home when she received a call from her husband, "Are you on the way home?"

"I’m almost there," Lily replied, “Five more minutes."

"Wait for me at the door, but don't come in,"

Alexander said, "I'll be out right away."

Lily was stunned, asking, "You’re going out?"

"Is something wrong?"

"I'll tell you later."

"Why didn't you tell Edward to drive?"

"It’s just the two of us, and I don’t want him to tag along." Alexander smiled, started the car, and turned to ensure Lily had fastened her seatbelt.

"Let's go!"

He looked mysterious and said nothing else.

Lily did not know where he was going to take her.

"It’s so late.Where are we going? Have you eaten yet? Lisa and I had dinner just now."

She stated in advance for fear that Alexander was taking her out to eat.

"You want dessert?" Alexander asked casually after hearing her say that.

"Sure, that works."

Alexander drove directly toward the dessert shop.

Fortunately, there were only a few people around.He got off the car to buy two desserts and packed some snacks before bringing them to the car.He handed the things to Lily and said, "Wait.Let’s eat these later."

Alexander smiled and focused on driving.It took little time, but Alexander drove and stopped in front of a garden.
