Elspeth could tell that the duo had an unusual relationship, so she glanced at Max and asked, “What’s going on?”

“I was in the mall to get a racing suit when I noticed an obsessive fan harassing her, so I went to her rescue. She insisted on handing me money, which I ignored. I finally got rid of her, but she followed me to my college and confronted me at the gate.”

“Then, we should invite her in. After all, she wants to reciprocate your gratitude.”

After speaking. Max leaned out to push Yelena away.
