The base was surrounded by high mountains on one side and dense forests on the other. Due to the high altitude, it was always much colder than the balmy coast of M City. As soon as Fiona stepped out of the building, her pale skin flushed rosy pink.

"You are so stupid!" Spencer scolded when he saw this. He took the coat draped over her arm and put it on her. "What's the point of holding the coat in your arm when you're freezing? Can't you have worn it instead? Stupid!"

Fiona was startled. "But this is your coat."

"It's fine. I don't feel cold." He swiftly buttoned her coat. "You can fasten the buttons on the wrist yourself."

His coat was a little too big for Fiona's petite body. It almost covered her entire upper body, only leaving her fingertips and her head exposed. She blinked her eyes. It made her look a bit funny, but in a cute way.

"Ahem!" He coughed covering his mouth. As he looked at Fiona's eyes, he felt enchanted. He gently tousled her hair. "You're not feeling cold now, right? Let's go!"

"Okay." Fiona nodded.

"Mr. Cheng! Mrs. Cheng!" Johnson saluted them when he saw them.

Spencer gave him a slight nod.

As they walked a little further, they saw a team of people waiting for them. "Hello, Mr. Cheng!"

"Hmm." Spencer nodded absently. "Let's go."

"Yes, sir!"

They walked towards the main entrance of the base.

Fiona and Spencer walked in the front. He marched fast, while she jogged under her large coat to catch up with him.

"Hey, do you mind slowing down a little bit?" she called to him as she couldn't match his speed.

As soon as she finished speaking, she bumped into Spencer's back, feeling dizzy.

"You're good at sketching and talking. Other than that, you're just an idiot," Spencer blurted out tactlessly.

Fiona shook her head in disbelief and continued to follow him.

Spencer slowed down a little, so Fiona finally caught up to him and walked alongside him.

Johnson walked behind them clumsily. Spencer was walking too slowly for his wife's sake. He was much slower than usual.

Spencer turned to Fiona. "When we get there, don't talk unnecessarily. Just follow my lead and greet people when I introduce them to you."

She anxiously bit her lip. "Is it really appropriate for me to come along?"

Spencer shook his head. "Well, it's not entirely appropriate. But it would seem rude if you didn't come. They already know that you're here. Won't they think you're refusing to see them off,

Mrs. Cheng?"

Fiona was surprised when Spencer called her "Mrs. Cheng."

At the main entrance, Eric and Daniel saluted Spencer as soon as they arrived.

"Where are they?" Spencer asked them.

"They're ten kilometers away. They'll be here soon," Eric replied.

"Okay." Spencer nodded. "Let's wait for some time. Fiona, are you feeling cold?"

"No, I'm good." Fiona sighed. In fact, she felt like the coat was a little too warm.

"Mrs. Cheng looks cute in Mr. Cheng's coat!" Daniel said with a cheerful laugh. However, he stopped when he received an icy stare from Spencer.

Then, he swiftly turned to the gate and waited for the people of P City to arrive without daring to speak another word. The purpose of their visit was to cooperate with Spencer and his men.

It had been recently discovered that X operated in both M Country and T Country.

Since P City was the closest to T Country as well as X's headquarters, their information was highly valued and key for conquering X.

Spencer's eyes were filled with a thirst for blood. Conquering X had been on his mind for a long time now. They were a strong opponent. He had never come across such a powerful force before. He had to fight them! 'I'll show you that you can't overwhelm me with your corrupt practices. I'm here to teach you the repercussions of threatening Spencer Cheng!' he thought to himself.

Ten minutes later

Two whistles came from the main gate.

Fiona looked up and saw two off-road vehicles and three trucks pass through the main gate.

All the soldiers raised their hands and saluted the cars. When the cars were two meters away from Spencer,

they came to a screeching halt.

A middle-aged man stepped out from one of the cars.

"That's Leo Li," Spencer whispered in Fiona's ear.

Then, he turned to Leo, who was wearing a heavy cotton jacket and smiling as he walked towards them.

"Mr. Cheng!" Leo saluted Spencer respectfully.

Fiona was surprised to see this and wondered why Leo would do that. 'Is something wrong?' However, Spencer just nodded back at Leo. "Welcome. Thank you for taking such an effort to come here."

All the car doors opened, and the rest of the men stepped out. One of them looked particularly striking.

He had a lean yet muscular body and was very handsome.

She felt like she'd seen him before, but couldn't remember where. She frowned. Suddenly, something struck her.

"Is that George Ye?" Fiona murmured to herself.

However, Spencer heard her words. "You have a good memory," he said with a hint of displeasure.

Fiona gently bit her lower lip, feeling aggrieved. The only reason she remembered his name was because Sophia used to mention it all the time.

George was quiet. He was dressed in casual clothes but he looked mature, like an ancient tactician in a handsome young man's body.

"Spencer!" George walked over and saluted Spencer.

Spencer nodded at him in response. "You're here as well."

George was almost as tall as Spencer. Both of them looked very attractive.

Fiona secretly let out a sigh. It was a pity that she was the only woman here to appreciate the scene in front of her. If Sophia had been here, she'd have loved to gaze at all these handsome men. No one could appreciate such an enticing scenery more than her.

Leo smiled at Spencer and said, "I heard that you've met George several times and worked as a drillmaster in the same university as him, so I asked him to join us."

"Indeed. The last time I met George, I was in a rush and didn't have much time to chat with him. I am glad he was transferred to P City. It feels like we were destined to meet again."

"True. I'm glad to be working with you, Spencer."

Spencer smiled lightly. Then, he pulled Fiona close to him and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Oh, I almost forgot. This is my wife, Fiona Ji."

'Fiona Ji?' George frowned when he heard her name. His eyes went wide with disbelief. He couldn't help but glance at her face.
