Taming The Casanova novel Chapter 32

Sahil's POV

I opened the envelope and was shocked to see the papers which I had sent to Manyata Singh Rathore.

My Divorce papers...

They were signed by Manyata Singh Rathore, with an additional clause that she didn't want anything from me in return.

What the hell?? What was going on??

My mind had gone totally numb.

She was Manyata Singh Rathore, My wife ????

No !!!! How could that be???

Shit !!!!

" What was all that Sagar?? " I asked.

" You are asking me?? How could you Sahil?? "

" How could I ?? Do you even know what happened?? " I retorted

" How would I know if you don't tell me Sahil?? You didn't even bother to tell me that you got married?? "

" I didn't get married, I was sacrificed."

" Why didn't you tell me ???... I would have persuaded dad not to do that. "

" You were already tensed, Sagar... I could not do that to you. Dad was determined to get one of his sons to get married to her. He asked you to come that day. But I went there in your place, dad asked me about you and I told him about you. " I said. And looked at him. He was not convinced.

" Sagar, her dad was not well and he wanted to get his daughter married, our dad was getting so emotional at that time that he was getting unreasonable. He said that he has already promised his friend, that his son would marry his daughter. Dad asked me to decide, who would get married to her. I was so shocked that I went away and switched off my phone for two days. You could not marry her and I would not marry anyone. "

" Oh, God !! Sahil, you could have told me.... "

" What would you have done?? Dad was hell-bent he even said that he would disown us if we don't honour his wish. He was getting very emotional that his friend was dying and was tensed about the future of his daughter. So he promised that Sagar would marry her. But when I told him that you were in love with Damini for more than a decade and would rather die than marry anyone else, he dropped the bomb on me. He said then I would have to marry her or he would never talk to any of us and will disown us. "
