Manyata's POV

I reached at the address bhabhi sent me. I called bhabhi she said that they were on their way.  She asked me to go inside as they had already booked a table.

I went inside and the manager came towards me I told him that we had a reservation and he nodded politely and led me to my table. I thanked him and sat down.

I had not even taken a single breath when I was shocked to see satan standing there in front of me in his full glory. He was smiling like anything.

" Good evening beautiful... " he sat very near to me and said with sparkling eyes.

" What are you doing here?? " I said in low voice.

" This is a restaurant honey, I came to have food with my wife," he said looking into my eyes.

" What?? No, I came here with Bhai sa and bhabhi.. they are coming. Please you can go and have dinner somewhere else. "

" No beautiful, I am also invited by your Bhai sa. "

" What?? Why?? I am going to call him. "

" He thinks that we should try to sort out the differences between us. " he winked at me.

" Ok, then I am going... " I started getting up but he held my hand.

" You can't... What will your brother think?? Are you scared of me?? At least have dinner... I am not going to harm you.  " said in a low voice.

" Why would I be scared of you?? I just don't want to see your face or share a space with you. "

" Well you don't have a choice honey, we are bound together."

He said and asked me to sit. I sat down because I could not create a scene here.

" Ughhh... What do you want?"

" You... "

" What?? "

" You give me another chance."

" No... I don't want any association with you... "

" But you are already associated with me. We are married honey. Let's forget everything and start afresh. "

"  Forget everything?? Start afresh??  It is easier for you to say that... "

" Ok, then make it difficult for me. " He said with a smile.

" What do you mean? "

" I mean that you think it is easier for me to say and do that... Right? " I nodded.

" Then make it difficult...I will pass all your tests. I realised my mistake... I should not have done or said all that but now, I know that I want you in my life. I want you as my wife. I am not going to divorce you ever.  "

" But why?? You were literally dying to get divorced earlier... What has changed now?? "

" I have changed... That day dad was telling Sagar about marriage and the responsibilities which he was supposed to take seriously. Then those marriage vows... I learnt the meaning of those too. We are married Manyata and I know that I  ruined everything but I want another chance to make everything right again. I will rectify all of my mistakes. "

" But I don't want it... I was also forced to marry you.  I thought that I would do my level best to make it work. But I don't trust you... You called me names, you didn't even bother to look at me as if I was a trash bin. You sent me that letter which was more poisoning then poison itself. You went out on dates while you were still married. You want another chance? Why should I ?? Do you think I am mad??  " I said with a firm sarcastic smile.

" No, I think you are beautiful... I am mad who didn't even look at my bride even while applying vermilion on your head. I am mad that I sent that letter. But sent it as I wanted you to get angry and divorce me immediately... But now I have realised that marriage is not a game. It is a bond not just between two people but between two families. "

" Oh great... I am impressed that you learnt that. But it is too late now. I signed the papers sent by you only. "

" Ok I agree that I sent them, you signed them but I did not, I destroyed them. So they don't exist now. We are very much married. So whether you want it or not, but we are married.  "

" So what?? I will file the divorce papers this time. "

" Ok, I can't stop you from doing it, but I would not sign them. Do whatever you want, I will not sign. "

" But you said that you didn't want me in your life. I can do whatever I want in my life just should not bother you as it doesn't matter to you. "

" I said that but I have changed... Now I want you in my life... Every single thing that is related to you matters to me. You are my wife so it is my responsibility to take care of you. "

" You don't need to... I don't know what you think or want but  I can take care of myself. I am quite capable of that. "

"  I take all my old words back... I am sure you can take care of yourself and everyone around you, but still, you are my wife. I will take care of you. You can't stop me from taking care of you. "

" I am not your's and I am not some commodity. I am a human being, so you may consider yourself as my husband but for me, you are just a family friend. "

" Ok fine... So my beautiful wife, let's order something till Vikram and Sandhya comes. "

He asked me what would I like to eat, but I didn't reply.  So he ordered the snacks.

The ordered was served and we started eating. Though I didn't want to eat I needed to keep myself busy because he was making me nervous.

He kept ogling at me all the time with a naughty smile on his face.

" Will you please stop it?? "

" What honey?? I am not doing anything. I am just eating. You want to feed me with your hand?? "

" Oh, God!! In your dreams.. "

" My dreams... Awww... Well don't even go there.. you will turn crimson red if you know about them.   " he smirked at me still looking at me like that. I tried my level best not to blush.

" Stop looking at me like that..."

" Like what?? "

" Like...  as if.... "

" Hmm?? As if?? "

" Stop irritating me...  You know what I am saying. "

" What are you scared off ?? "

" What rubbish?? Why would I be scared?? And Of whom?? You??  "

" Of being close to me?? "

" You have lost it... " I said glaring at him.

" On the contrary, I just got it... I am not going to lose it. I am not letting you go. Are you scared that you will fall for me??  "  He said in low voice with a smirk.

" You think too highly of yourself... "

" Deny it all if you want, but there is a spark between us...  And you are scared that this spark will Kindle the fire between us? "

" Oh, God !! You are so full of yourself. There is no such thing. You are thinking too much. "

" Don't lie... Every time, I touch you, I feel that spark. I am sure you feel them too. "

" Where is bhai sa and bhabhi?? " I said to change the topic and he smirked again.

I ignored him and tried calling bhabhi but her phone was not reachable. I tried again and this time the phone was ringing. She picked it up.

" Hello... "

" Bhabhi where are you,? " I asked her as I did not want to be alone with him.

" We were coming Manu but some emergency case came at the hospital and we had to come back. So we might not be able to make it. Please have dinner with Sahil Ji. Please give him a chance. Have dinner and go back home. We will try to come back soon. "

Oh, God!! What do I do now??

" What about your dinner? Should I get it packed from here? " I asked her.

" Vikram was very hungry so we had some light snacks from the cafeteria in the hospital. But I will fix something at home as your Bhai sa might be hungry after his work is over. Please behave well with Sahil Ji."

" Hmmm,  ok bhabhi. " I disconnected the call.

" What happened ?? Where are they? "

" They were called back at the hospital. There was an emergency...  She said they might be late. "

" Oh... Ok then let's order the main course... "

" Listen, I am not very hungry.. let it be.. you carry on, I must go home.. "

" See.. you proved my point.. " he started laughing. His laugh was so sexy...

Shit!!!

" What point?? "

" That you are scared of being alone with me... "

" That's not true.. I am not scared of anything. "

" Then why not have dinner with me? I would not eat you alive. "

" Ok.. let's order the food. " He smiled and he looked even more handsome with that smile on his face.

We ordered and it came shortly. He kept smiling all the time.

Idiot...

The food was served and it looked awesome.

He smiled at me and asked me to start it before it gets cold. I took a deep breath and started eating.

He was looking at me continuously.
