Manyata's POV

" Hey... by the way, did I say how beautiful you are looking today? " He said with a smile.

" Oh please, you must have said that to all those 200 girls you dated."

" Yes, I did... but never really meant it. But I am saying it to you for the first time but not the last time. And you would be the last girl whom I would keep saying that till my last breath. " He said and smiled again.

Oh, God !! This man... He knew how to flirt so well... Of course, he would know, has so much practice.

I rolled my eyes and finished eating my food. He kept smiling.

He asked me what dessert I want and I was about to say no when someone at my back called his name.

" Hi... Sahil !!! Long time no seeing... Where have you been baby? " I turned to see a girl scantily dressed up, said very sensually.

Baby?? Really ??

I looked at him and raised one eyebrow at him.

He closed his eyes for a second and then shook his head.

" Hi... I have been very busy... " he said but kept looking at me.

" Were you too busy to even give me a call? I would have helped you in reducing the stress." He flinched at that.

" I don't have any stress. Now please leave," he said to her not even looking at her.

" Oh!! Sorry to disturb your date. So you are with another girl... you will never change... Mr Casanova. I think I must give friendly advice to your new girlfriend. " and then she looked at me.

" Don't bother... I am not his girlfriend." I said with a smile.

" Will you please leave us alone... she is not my girlfriend, she is m... " Sahil was getting angry. I glared at him. I didn't want him to say that I was his wife.

" No... " I said and pushed him. He stepped back and looked disappointed.

I went to my car and drove towards home.

I saw him following me in his car.

Why was he being so stubborn??

I parked the car once I reached home and came out of the car. I went to him.

" What is your problem?? Why did you follow me?? "

" To see that you reached home safely... It is very late. " he got out of his car.

" How does that matter to you? " I said

" It does matter to me, I care for you. Your safety is my concern. " He said in a sad voice.

" You don't need to bother about that."

" You carry on with your life, just don't bother what bothers me. How does that matter if I follow you to see that you are safe? " He said looking at me with a hard expression on his face.

" Why are you doing it?? Why do you want a second chance?"

" Listen Manyata, I agree I didn't want to marry, but since I met you, I felt that I was missing something in my life. I didn't know what it was but I always wanted to be with you. I hated it when any man looked at you I just wanted to be near you. Recently I realised that Sagar is really happy with the love of his life so is every single friend of his I also want to settle down. I kind of started having feelings for you. Can you please forgive me for all the things I did and said to you..... I don't know what is going on... but I can't sleep and I can't eat. I am sorry I wrote that letter. I just wanted you to read the letter, get very angry, sign the papers and send them back to me. I didn't mean that I swear. I didn't want to be in a relationship with you at that time but that was my stupidity I so angry with my father. "

" Sahil stop wasting your time on me. Make new papers, I will sign them. Let's get it over with. "

I felt bad, he said that... I didn't know what to say or do.

I turned to go but he held my hand. I looked at him and he said sorry again.

" Ok fine, I accept your apology... But I can't help it that I don't trust you. "

" Give me a chance to build trust again. "

" I don't know."

" Just one chance..."

I could see he was not lying but I couldn't say anything. I looked at him one more time and went inside.

I went to my room and change into my nightwear.

I was feeling bad that I was being rude to him but I was hurt as well.

Sahil's POV

I kept thinking about her for the whole night. She was looking so beautiful in that dress.

I wanted to hide her in my arms so that nobody looked at her with admiration. That was just my right.

The evening was going so well till that stupid girl ruined it.

Manyata looked annoyed after that though she was smiling sarcastically. I wanted to tell her how much I loved her.

I couldn't tell that I loved her as she doesn't trust me... She might have thought that I was saying it to win her affection. I would only tell her my feelings when I know that she would trust me.

Till then, I can't lose heart... Even if she ignores me or be rude to me as I did the same to her.

It was morning and I was sitting in my car in front of Vikram's home. She came out in her car and drove off. I followed her and parked my car a bit away from her car. She took out her big bag and a big tiffin box with her.

I went after her.

" Good morning beautiful wife of mine... "

" Oh, God !! What you are doing here?"

" To see you of course... I wanted to spend my time with you so here I am."
