Taming The Casanova novel Chapter 67

Manyata's POV

(Last day when vidhi came)

Vidhi said she would be staying in Delhi for just two days as she was very busy she had to go for some meeting yesterday. I felt better as she has always been a very bold and bubbly girl and we were close.

But I felt that she was behaving differently at times. The day she came, three of us were enjoying each other's company when the doorbell rang and I went to open the door.

There was a tall, dark and handsome man standing there with some carry bags and boxes in his hand.

He was smiling earlier but as he didn't recognise me he looked confused.

" Oh !! I am here to meet Sandy... I mean Sandhya. Is she home?? "

" Of course yes, I am sorry I didn't recognise you. "

" I am her brother, Shubh. "

" Oh, I am so sorry, please come in. " I let him in and he smiled politely.

I led him to the living room where we all were sitting.

The moment bhabhi saw him her face lit up and she ran towards him to welcome him with open arms.

He was looking where to keep all the stuff he was holding, so I took them and placed on the dining table.

The man hugged bhabhi and kissed on her forehead. They both seemed very close to each other.

I thought to leave them alone, so I walked towards Vidhi but she looked absolutely stunned. She was standing there looking at him. The expressions on her face were coming and going like a movie.

She seemed somewhat shocked, surprised, happy and sad all at the same time but was looking at him continuously.

Bhabhi caught his hand and pulled her brother in as they both were still standing in the door frame.

I looked at them and the moment Shubh Ji saw Vidhi, he also stopped in the track all of a sudden. His face mirrored the same emotions as we're on Vidhi's.

There seemed to be so much tension between them.

" Shubh, this is Manyata, Vikram's cousin and you already know Vidhi. Manu, he is Shubh, my cousin. But just like you are very close to Vikram, we are also very close." She said and smiled at him and they side hugged each other.

I smiled and said, " Hello... " he just smiled back and nodded.

" Come Shubh, I was missing you already. It seems that you had telepathy. "

" Yeah... " He said but again stole a glance towards Vidhi. She was also looking at him.

They both were really awkward in presence of each other.

It was almost like when Sahil and I used to be before he got to know that I was Manyata.

Something was definitely going on.

I came to the kitchen to get tea and snacks for them. But again, the thought that Sahil had gone without talking to me, bothered me.

Shubh Ji said that he had to go but bhabhi didn't let him go. She came to the kitchen to help me and asked me to take the snacks to the living room she would get tea.

When I reached, there, I saw them arguing like a couple. Shubh Ji was holding her forearm and looked irritated,  while she seemed to be giving an explanation.

They did even look at me so I went back to the kitchen. Bhabhi was about to go there but I stopped her.

" Wait bhabhi... "

" What happened? "

" Bhabhi, is there anything between them?? "

" Why are you asking that?? "

" They were awkward in presence of each other and are arguing like... "

" A couple?? I had my doubt. But I was not sure. They have always been like this. They like each other but always fighting. I have to bring them together. I can't see my two favourite people fighting. Let's go... " she went towards the living room and I followed her.

" Shubh, see I got your favourite, Matar Kachori. " She said even before entering the living room.

" Wow! Great. " He said. They both looked tensed. The doorbell rang again and vidhi ran towards the door. May be wanted to get away from there.

It was bhai sa came and he hugged Vidhi. They have always been extremely close.

We all went inside and he seemed to be very happy to see Shubh Ji. He man hugged him.

" What a pleasant surprise !! " Bhai sa said.

They started talking but I left the room to do my work.

Later I asked, vidhi about him but she changed the topic.

She looked a bit lost, gloomy and sad since she met him. I didn't want to disturb her if she was not comfortable talking about it. I also was not very comfortable talking about Sahil.

******

I could not sleep for the whole night. I felt bad, that may be I should have said, yes to his plan.

In the morning and went to the small but beautiful lawn outside. It was such a beautiful day but something was missing. I was trying to find that missing part but could not find it.

Sahil did not come back or called the whole day. He seemed to be annoyed with me.

I went back inside and helped bhabhi with breakfast and lunch.  After that, I went to get ready for work.

When I came back downstairs to go to the office,  bhabhi was in the kitchen,  preparing more food.

" What happened bhabhi? We already cooked everything... "

" Damini called up, she asked me if We were free as she was absolutely free and alone while Sagar Ji has to go for work, so she wanted to meet us. I  called her, she would be her post-lunch and Sagar Ji and Kanwar sa will come in the evening, that's why I am doing preparation for snacks and dinner. "

" Bhabhi tell me what is to be done, you have to go to the hospital. " I said.

" No dear, I will take the day off. You also please try to take at least half a day off. I am sure, Damini would love to spend time with you too. "

" Ok bhabhi... "

" They are coming to our home for the first time. Sagar Ji and Damini are our family as well now. I want everything to be perfect. "

" Sure bhabhi. "

Bhabhi and I planned menu. We planned  Makhni daal, Paneer butter masala, Gatta curry, mixed veg, Rice, etc. was happy as I liked both Sagar Ji and Damini a lot. I would be meeting them after so long.

I informed Mohit that I would work from home only. I had already clicked pictures of most of the dresses and men's wear. I just needed to do some work on it.

We both finished preparing almost everything and were sitting there  chatting when the doorbell rang.

I was very excited to meet both of them so I went to open the door. I opened the door and saw Damini and Sagar Ji standing there.

I was very happy to see them. Sagar Ji smiled at me lovingly and Damini hugged me tightly. Sagar Ji also gave me a light side hug as he was holding gifts.

" Hey, Manu!!  so nice to see you... How are you? "  Damini smiled and said.

" I am good, how are you? Come... " I said.

" No actually, I have to go to work,  she wanted to meet you. So I thought of dropping her here,  I will come in the evening.  " Sagar Ji said and bhabhi also came to welcome them. She greeted them both.

" Ok, I understand Sagar Ji but at least come in... "

" I am really getting late, Sahil is waiting for me. We have a meeting. "

" Ok, please come soon, Vikram is very excited to meet you. "

" Sure, same here. We will be back as soon as we are free. " Sagar Ji said and took his leave.

We all came inside. Bhabhi was going to the kitchen to get something to drink. I said I would get it, but bhabhi told me to be with Damini.

" So how have you been Manu?? I missed you. "

" Seriously?? Did you miss me on your honeymoon? " I teased her and she blushed. I knew how they both loved each other and were always lost in each other.

" I mean... You know what I mean." She said.

" Yeah... " I nodded with a smile.

" Manu, we didn't want to go on a honeymoon, as everything changed once you left. Sahil changed overnight. He was shocked as hell." She said and I looked away from her eyes.

"  I am sure, you must have felt that he was getting drawn towards you during your stay in Chandigarh. I know that he was trying to hold his feelings for you because he was married to Manyata. He wanted to marry you. I saw it in his eyes. "

" How was your trip Damini? " I tried to change the topic. I didn't want to think about him right away.

" Don't change the subject Manu, trust me he has changed a lot. I  know him since I know Sagar and that has been very long.  So I know, he has never been serious about any girl, but he is extremely serious about you now. You have tamed the casanova."
