Manyata's POV

He seemed to be in a very good mood today. We enjoyed the journey with some light conversation and music.

He stopped the car somewhere in the midway, we had a light breakfast there. We shared food, laughed and enjoyed a lot.

It was about 9:30 AM when we reached Chandigarh.

He stopped the car in front of the bungalow. We got out of the car and went towards the door. But aunty was already standing there just outside the door.  Her happiness knew no bounds. She welcomed me with open arms. Then she went inside and welcomed me in the Indian style.

I still remember how emotional I had become when I saw that aunty welcomed Damini with so much love.

I had felt bad that it was not meant for me as my husband had discarded me.

But now my eyes were moist again to see that I also was a part of this lovely family. And they welcomed me in their lives and home with love.

" Welcome home beta... I am really sorry,  last time when you came to live with us, I had no idea, that you were my first daughter-in-law. I was dying to get my kids married and this idiot didn't even tell me. " She said caressing my face and  I bent to touch her feet.

She embraced me and kissed my forehead. I was so happy with the love she gave me. She made me kick a pot full of rice with my right foot and then made me step in a big platter of Roli kumkum paste. I walked in leaving red marks behind.

Swati hugged me and I touched feet of uncle. He hugged me too.

" Welcome beta, I am so glad to see you with us as our daughter-in-law. May God bless you both. " He said and I smiled.

Sahil's POV

" Where are Sagar and Damini? "

" She was not well so they have gone to see a doctor. " mom said, though she looked a bit excited.

" Mom is it serious?? " I asked.

" Let's see, they would be here at any moment now. " Mom said with anticipation in her eyes.

Just then Sagar and Damini came in. Sagar was grinning like anything and Damini was as red as a rose.

" Hey, you both have come?? Great !!!" He hugged me and Manu. Damini just said a shy hello to me.

" You went to see the doctor, right?? " I asked and he smiled even more and nodded.

" Is everything alright??  What is there to smile?? Are you out of your mind?? "

" Yes, I am out of my mind. On top of this world. "  He said slowly looking at her. She glared at him but blushed even more.

He was absolutely besotted.

Did they really go to see a doctor?

" Sagar ?? Why don't you say something?? Damini ?? Is it what I think it is? " Mom asked and came near Damini. She caressed her face with so much love.

Damini closed her eyes and gave a shy nod. My mom shrieked and hugged her so hard that even Sagar must not have done that.

What is going on??

I looked at Manu but she was as clueless as I was. My dad and Swati were also confused.

" What is going on Shweta?? " Dad asked mom.

" Wait, old man, try and learn to be a bit more patient. " Mom retorted.

" Old man ?? Me?? Seriously??" He looked at mom mischievously.

" Of course Sushaant, have you ever heard about a young grandfather? " She smiled.

" Grandfather?? Oh!! You mean...?? Me?? Wow!! " Dad was shocked and so were we.

He was so happy, he gave his blessings to both of them and went away with mom talking about something.

" Wow!! Congratulations bhai!! Swati and I both shouted. 

Thanks, Sagar just could not stop grinning, while Damini kept blushing like anything. I went to her and hugged her.

" Hey beautiful, thank you so much, for making all of us very happy and specially Sagar. I love you. " I said and as expected, my over-possessive brother hit me, but he was still smiling like an idiot.

" Shut up idiot, you always keep saying that to my wife. What yaar??  Say that to your wife.  If you won't stop flirting with my wife, I will start flirting with Manu.  Then only, you will realise."

" Hahaha .... Good one I would love to see you flirt with anyone except Damini. You didn't even look at any other girl when she was not in your life. You can not even think about it now. "

" I will show you... " He said trying to threaten me.

" Try brother, she doesn't even allow me to flirt with her... Let's see, how would you flirt, as it is, she is like Swati to you and she already said, you are just like a brother to her. " I said and he shook his head, Swati and Manu were laughing.

" Manu, tell your husband to behave himself or I will beat him. Tell him that he can say I love you to you only." she just smiled at what Sagar said.

" I am waiting... " I said and she just smiled and turned to go away along with Swati and Damini.

" I am very happy for you. " I said and hugged him.

" I know... So?? How are things between you two?? "

" I told her my feelings and she said that she wants to give me a chance, I know that she likes me and is getting possessive about me. But we are still not like a normal couple. She is very innocent, sweet and naive. "

" Yes, she is... I think she is falling for you too.  Soon she would realise that she loves you too. "

Manyata's POV

I was so happy to know that Damini was pregnant as I loved kids. She was blushing very hard.

Uncle and aunty came to where three of us were. They gave me some gifts including clothes, jewellery, and some other packed things.

" What are these for aunty?? " I asked.

" First of all, call me mom aur ma and him as dad or papa,  whatever suits you. And these gifts are for our lovely daughter-in-law. Please accept them." I touched their feet and accepted them. They gave me their blessings and hugged me again.

Then they gave a jewellery box to Damini, she was surprised but mom kissed on her forehead and said, "You have made us so happy, we are going to be grandparents very soon. This is nothing as compared to that. " She also smiled and took it. They hugged her too.

This was such a nice family. They went away discussing the arrangements for engagement.  We three were alone again.

" So would-be mom, how are you feeling now?? " I teased her.

" I was a bit apprehensive as it is a bit too soon. We just got married a month ago. But, Sagar is so happy, that he is almost floating in the air. I am so happy to see him happy. I love him so much, just that smile on his face makes me go weak at knees. If he is so happy than I am too. "

" Are you feeling ok?? "

" Yeah, apart from mood swings and food cravings, everything is good. "

" Good, let me know if you want to eat anything special at any time. I will make it for you. "

" Yeah... Thanks. " I glared at her for saying thanks and she just smiled.

" So Swati, your special day is just 2 days away... Are you excited?? " I asked and she nodded.

" Bhabhi, please show me the dresses, I need to show it to mom and match the accessories and jewellery with that. "

" Yes Swati, everything is in the car, let's get them out. You must be tired Damini, just stay here, we will get everything here, please take rest." She nodded as she was tired.

We went to take car keys from Sahil.

" Bhai, give us the keys to your car, we want to take out everything. " Swati said to Sahil.

" I will get them for you, sweetie. " He said and we followed him. Sagar Ji saw aunty and went to talk to her.

" So, where is that idiot?? " Sahil teased her.

" Bhai !! Don't be mean, He is so good. He will come for the lunch. "  He laughed and started taking out the dresses first. We held the dresses.

Sagar Ji also came to help us. He also took out our bags and we all came inside again.

Aunty and Damini were waiting for us to get everything there so Sagar Ji and aunty could see them. Swati started opening all the dresses.

" Sahil,  first you go and keep all your bags in your room. "

" Ok, mom, " Sahil said and went up with two bags.

I went and picked up one of my bags to take it to Swati's room.

" Beta Manu, leave it. Sagar go and keep her bags in Sahil's room. " Aunty said. Everyone looked at me and my eyes almost came out.

What?? What ?? No...

I looked at aunty, pleading her silently, but she just smiled.

Damini and Swati winked at me and smiled mischievously and Sagar Ji was trying to hide his smile and picked up my bags and went upstairs.
