Tracy

I woke up with my body aching, my throat was burning too, it took a minute or two before my eyes adjusted to the room I was in.

Everywhere looked so blue that I couldn't see where I was, I was confused for a while, everything in my memory was foggy, but then I was able to remember what happened.

I should have listened to Alex, I should have listened, what am I supposed to be doing in a room so blue I could barely see anything?, I felt uncomfortable because I was tied sitting in a chair.

I prayed for a while then I started worrying again, what of my kids?, Have they eaten?, What would my parents think when they realize I'm gone? What would Sam do to me? Would Alex realize Sam did something to me?, Or would he think I'm still on my way home because I called him earlier?, What time is it? Since when did I pass out?. Those questions keep running on my mind until I heard footsteps, I stopped thinking and listened, I heard the door open and someone came inside the room.

The person switched on the light and I saw who it was, it was Sam, our eyes met and I glared at him.

"Come on now darling, don't look at me like that, I am doing this for our good."

He said coming close

"Don't come close to me you jerk! I hate you!"

"It's okay to hate me for now, very soon you'll know I'm the right person for you, you will divorce Alex whether you like it or not, we travel to Spain, get married there and we live happily ever after."

"You are a psycho!, Let me go, you idiot."

"Look at you darling, I should have put a tape on your pretty mouth, or tied it with something, you are sounding too loud to be the pretty girl I knew in school, but then don't worry, I'll pardon you, let's just say you are shocked, for now."

"Let me go!"

"No darling we are still at the beginning of the plan, if only you can just relax, let me tell and show you how much I love you, look around baby." He said and I did, I was probably busy yelling at him that I didn't notice the things in the room when he switched on the light.

The room is a shrine of me, a pretty big shrine, my pictures were everywhere in the room, the bedspread had my face on it, framed pictures of me on the wall, on a big bulletin board were different pictures of me, even from when I was in high school.

"Come have a closer look." He said pulling the chair I was tied to closer to the bulletin board, my mouth dropped open when I saw the pictures there, pictures from when I first got the cafe job, pictures from my first date with Alex, pictures of my bad hair day, pictures of me serving the customer coffee, a picture of my first kiss with Alex in a park, there was even the of me six months pregnant and trying to buy groceries in Florida, I was so shocked my mouth dropped open.

"I thought you went to business school."

"Of course, but I had to check and keep up with the love of my life."

"So you knew Alex is my husband for so long and you acted like you didn't know?."

"Darling, you didn't ask if I know, did you?"

"You stalker, let me go this instant," I said and he shook his head.

"Not stalker darling, I'm a lover." He said and I felt like barfing.

"Let me go."

"No!" He yelled startling me

"Please let me go, my kids, my husband, please they must be very worried, please let me go, please." I pleaded but it seemed to have gone into the wrong ear.

"Your husband?, Seriously, your husband? I should be your husband, that guy doesn't deserve you, I should be your husband, you should be calling those children our kids." He said grabbing a whip on the dressing table.

"You know, you should have kept your legs close, you should have waited for me." He said flogging me on the leg with the whip, and I cried out in pain.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked tears pooling in my eyes already.

"Tracy, I'm doing this because what you did was wrong, you should have waited, you have known I'm in love with you." He said flogging me with the whip again.

"Stop!" I cried in pain, the tears fell this time.

"You know when I saw you with Alex continuously, I felt like getting a gun and blowing his head off, but because I didn't have a plan at that moment I couldn't do it. I just couldn't, so I planned everything for years, I watched over you and now the plan is finalized, look at that bed, we will have our first night together there, don't worry, I'll treat you better than he did, I wanted us to come back to this house after spending two years in Spain but you don't like fancy places like this so don't worry we'll do something about it."

"What do you mean by all that?." I asked scared.

"I got the gun." He said making me lose it.

"You jerk, don't you dare touch my husband, you psycho, I promise, I'll kill you if you touch my husband, I'll get you arrested," I yelled but he opened the drawer, brought out a tape, and placed it on my mouth.

"You see the issue I have with you Tracy? That idiot is beginning to change you from the sweet innocent girl you are, look at you shouting at your soon-to-be husband, I have to discipline you, darling." He said picking the whip again, he gave me the beating of my life, I cried so much that my head ached, my throat burned too.

There was a knock on the door and Sam smiled then dropped the whip

"Ah, look at that, I forgot to tell you, I have a surprise for your darling, I want you to meet one of your in-laws, and guess what, everything is about to become interesting." He said giving me that creepy smile again.
