Adrian even lit up a cigar and took a whiff of it. Then he said, "Young man, it's never a shame to be poor. But disguising as the rich while you are poor will be quite humiliating! I know you might just purchase one or two apartments. But if you still brag that you got 92 in total, that would be quite awkward!"

Obviously, both of them didn't believe that Conrad could afford the whole building.

"Well, what if I do?"

Conrad glanced at Adrian, an obese middle-aged man, who looked ugly with his big belly. His suit couldn't even fit his body as some of the buttons of it were off and there was even no hair left on his head. He looked awful and even a bit funny.

"If you do have 92 apartments in total, I will eat all the certificates! And what if you don't?" Adrian provoked.

"Then I will eat 92 certificates as well." Conrad felt quite interesting as he really wanted to see how this man was going to eat the certificates. So he made the bet and then threw the key of his Lamborghini to Amara, who still stood beside. He told her to bring over the box in his car.

Amara soon ran out and returned with a big heavy box.

"What are you doing?" Manager warned Conrad, "If you want to mess around, I am calling the security guard!"

Conrad placed the box on the table and opened it, where there lay a pile of red certificates. Then he said to Adrian, "Help yourself! Do you need some seasoning?"

"What?"

Adrian was stunned and took out a few from the box. He noticed they were all Property Ownership Certificates indeed. He then opened them one by one and checked them carefully. He was really surprised to find that the apartment numbers were all consecutive. And they were all the apartments of the Residence Building No.5 in this community.

"They must be fake! Manager Berry, come to check them all!"

Then, Adrian also asked someone to check the verification of those certificates.

Manager Berry was also quite confused. He then took over the certificates and checked them one by one. Though it was really hard for him to believe it, they were still indeed verified as all information about the company and numbers on certificates conformed to the database.

"How could that be possible? When was the whole building sold out?"

As the manager of the sales department, Manager Berry should be informed in advance. He immediately turned to the accounting department to confirm the information and he was told that they did receive the sum of money transferred in the morning, and the total of which was more than 100 million.

"No way! This young man is a super billionaire?" Manager Berry was totally rendered stunned on spot.

But since the purchase of the whole building was confirmed, it meant to be a great bonanza for Manager Berry as he could get a big bonus, which was exactly offered by this nice-looking young man standing right in front of him.

"Mr. Porter, I am so sorry to slight you just now! Please forgive me!" Then he turned to look at other staffs and shouted, "Serve this gentleman the best seat and the best tea! Bring over the top-quality Pi Lo Chun tea in my office here! Now!"

At this moment, all staffs in the sales office were busy doing their best to serve Conrad. Some of them were getting a settee for him. Some of them were making tea and bringing fruits and refreshments while some of them were fanning for Conrad as if he were the emperor of the kingdom.

After all, Conrad did the most incredible thing they had ever known—he just bought the whole building!

"Hold on!" Conrad stopped them from fawning and then he continued, "But now I want to see you to eat all the certificates, Mr. Cook!"

Since the purchase was confirmed and so did all the certificates. Conrad did win the bet and Adrian needed to eat all certificates according to it.

Conrad then threw the pile of certificates in his front and beckoned him to do as required.

Adrian immediately snuffed the cigar and smiled awkwardly, "Well, I don't think it's a good idea. You know, since the certificates are so important and I am afraid it might bother you if I do so."

"It's okay." Conrad sat on the settee casually, "Don't worry. I can go through the procedure again on my own."

"Well, I am sorry I have to go to deal with some business." Adrian then figured out an excuse and stood up to leave.

Manager Berry still asked tentatively, "Mr. Cook, what about the ten apartment you mentioned?"

"Well, you know, I have some problems of my budgets. Let's see another day." Adrian hurried to leave as he felt really embarrassed.

Commonly speaking, Adrian should be treated with great respect as he planned to buy ten apartments in total. But he was completely outdone by Conrad, who just purchased a whole building with 100 million. He felt really humiliated to stay here even for one more second.

Of course, Conrad didn't plan to force him to eat the certificates. He just really hated him for being so arrogant. Since he ran away, he would just let it go.

Conrad made a salesman put all certificates back to the box and send them back to his car. Then he returned to the reception room.

All staffs including Manager Berry followed behind Conrad with great respect as if a high-rank official came for inspection.
