OCEAN'S POV:-

Hellenora: Parko was actually Ocean's biological brother. He was two centuries older than Ocean but he was her brother. I sent them away for a reason. I knew Valtor had asked Parko to find Ocean and bring her to New Orleans. Ocean was the key to unlocking the monster that is inside Moon. It was until, a few years ago, I went to the land of enchantresses. I had some things to take care of. But before I left, I told everything to Vivian. I also filled her in that Parko was trying to find a way to bring her here. I thought after telling her everything, she would be cautious and would keep a sharp eye on her son. But I was wrong. I never thought of what she was actually thinking.

She said and I gritted my teeth. She was blaming my mother for I did not know what.

Ocean: How can you blame her for me being here? It was an accident that brought me here. My uncle could not leave me there all alone.

I asked her angrily and she glared at my mother. My mother also glared at Hellenora angrily. I found it weird that she was not looking into my eyes.

Hellenora: So she did not tell you, did she?

She asked me and I and Moon exchanged looks.

Moon: Tell us what?

Moon asked and we looked at my mother who did not dare to look at us. Then we looked at Hellenora who was shaking her head in a disappointed way.

Hellenora: It was not just an accident, Ocean. Your parents were murdered so you will be brought here. Parko was the one who killed your parents. He was in the plane. And as they planned, you came here. You almost died if it was not for Vixen. She saved your life. Your father is an evil vampire and your mother is an enchantress who was banished from the fairyland. How do you think you became a werewolf?

She asked me and I looked at my mother with teary eyes. Moon tightened his hold around my shoulders and I hugged him tightly.

Moon: It was Zeus. He bit Ocean to turn her.

Moon replied to her on my behalf. Hellenora shook her head and glared again at my mother.

Hellenora: Let me start from the very beginning. Whatever your grandfather had told you, Alpha Moon. It was all true. But Ocean, you know nothing. Your mother was not an enchantress. She was a fairy. She was sent here to gather up some herbs to perform some rituals. She found your father and they both fell in love. Her father told her everything about Valtor but she stubbornly denied her father. Her father tried to bind her with one of the male fairies in the fairyland. But she got mated with your father. For disrespecting the decision of the king, her feathers were taken away and she was banished from the fairyland.

Hellenora started telling us the love story of my parents and I rolled my eyes. To my surprise, my mother stood up and tried to get away. But Moon growled lowly and my mother froze in her tracks. She went back to her seat and sat back down.

Hellenora: Vixen is not a werewolf. She was the most loyal and faithful protector of the fairyland. The day you were born at the same time when Moon was born…

She was explaining to us but moon interrupted.

Moon: Wait, hold on a second. Ocean is younger than me. A few months, that was what I was told.

Moon asked her and she shook her head.

Hellenora: There is a reason why you both are known as the born mated couple. You both were born at the same time, on the same day. Anyways, before you both were born, Vivian's father came to know the fact that Moon has an indestructible monster inside him. And Valtor is going to use it to rule the world. And the only key to keep it locked was Ocean by Moon's side. In order to save an innocent child, the King of the fairyland sent his son, Vlad to bind Vixen with Ocean. He caged her inside Ocean. As loyal and faithful she was to the fairyland, she stayed inside Ocean to keep her safe. Vixen is actually a gift for you from Vivian's brother. According to Vlad, it was the only way to keep you safe. I understood everything the day you were almost killed by those bitches. Zeus bite did nothing but awoken Vixen inside you. She leashed out and saved your life.

She replied and I looked at my mother who did not even have courage to look at us.

Moon: So what it has to take with Vivian and Parko?

He asked the question I had in mind.

Hellenora: After that incident and the so-called accident, I told Vivian to keep an eye on Parko. She did not listen to me. As far as I was told, she did that on purpose. Otherwise there was no way Valtor would have changed her. Vivian wanted Valtor back and that was the reason she kept Parko alive. She never cared about her children. Ocean to be specific. She was a mare human for everyone. Parko on the other side, he was special. He was the only one who could free Valtor. If she would have cared, she would have killed Valtor by herself.

She said in a taunting tone and Moon stood up along with his grandfather. My mother was glaring at me and Moon.

Derek: Tell me, she is lying, Viv. You can not do that.

Pa asked as Hellenora stood in front of me, as if she was protecting me from someone, my mother was that someone.

Vivian: I wanted my family back. The one which was destroyed by Vincent Redford. You think Valtor was the one who killed that good for nothing Aiden and his wife. I was the one who poisoned them. Otherwise, Valtor was no match against Aiden. He was way too powerful for Valtor to defeat.

She spat those words and I felt the bitterness of her words in my mouth.

Vincent: Then why all that drama to tell me how much you love your baby. Why even bother giving birth to her?

Grandpa asked and she started laughing hysterically.

Vivian: For the power she possesses. Her fate was decided. I was told what Vlad and my father were planning on. I would have killed her so there would be no one to stop Valtor. But I wanted Vixen. Because Vixen was the key to unlock my powers. Vixen actually belonged to me. I created her.

My mother replied as she stood up. Vixen was scratching the walls to leash out but I was keeping her calm. My mother suddenly lunged herself at me. But before she could reach me, she was kicked hard and pinned to the ground. I looked around and found ma in her wolf form. She was growling at my mother angrily.
