The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 53

Just when they went out of the house together, Edith got a call from Diana.

"Edith, we are at the gate of TC International Hotel right now. Come on."

"Okay, I will be there soon." After Edith hung up the phone, she hurriedly hailed a taxi.

TC International Hotel was a five-star hotel in J City which was definitely a high-end consumer occasion in J City.

If people wanted to eat here, they had not only to be the rich, but also had to have status.

This hotel was a place for upper class people to having parties. Ordinary people generally didn’t consider to hold parties here at all.

Hunter Powell chose this place to hold a class reunion. One reason was to show his status. The other reason was that TY Group was a major shareholder of TC International Hotel.

As the manager of a branch of TY Group, it was relatively easy for Hunter to make a reservation at TC International Hotel than others.

But even so, in order to get a private room, he took painstaking efforts.

Casey had heard Charles Clinton talk about the TC International Hotel before. The reason why he became a shareholder of this hotel was naturally to expand his connections. Anyone who came to eat here would generally have considerable connections value. Charles was proficient at doing business, so he naturally knew the importance of connections.

Half an hour later, Casey and Edith arrived at TC International Hotel. After they got out of the car, they saw a group of people standing in the distance.

Diana and Hunter immediately came over to greet Edith. Diana saw Casey also come here. She immediately muttered, "How shameless he is! How dare he come to Edith's class reunion. Doesn't he know it's awkward?"

Hunter looked gloomy after seeing Casey. He still remembered what happened at Owen’s house that day. If Casey said in front of so many classmates that he had kidney deficiency, he would probably punch Casey.

"Hmph, it’s good that you also come here today. Let you see how rich I am today, so that you can know who you are, and get away from Edith." Hunter said to himself.

"Since you’re here, let’s eat together. I guess he has never eaten in such a place." Hunter said with a smile.

The classmates of Edith in the distance saw Edith bringing Casey over. They all started whispering.

"Is that Edith's husband? I heard that he is called Casey. He is a famous good-for-nothing in J City. Why did Edith bring him here?"

"That's him? He doesn’t deserve Edith at all. What a pity!"

"I heard that Edith had no way, so she has to marry him. Maybe Edith brings him here is just to make him understand that he doesn’t deserve her and let him get out of her way."

"Yeah. Have you heard that Hunter still likes Edith? This class reunion is held for Edith. Compared with Hunter, Casey is nothing."

......

After Hunter walked over with them, those classmates also stopped talking immediately, but they looked at Casey with contempt.

"Everyone is here, let's go in." Hunter said.

A group of people followed Hunter towards TC International Hotel, all looking around curiously.

They couldn’t afford a meal in such a hotel themselves. Thanks to Hunter, this time they could be able to come here for a meal.

"Hunter is really amazing. He can bring us to eat here. I never dreamed of being able to eat here."

"That's right, Hunter is now the manager of the TY Group branch, with an annual income of several hundred thousand. It's a piece of cake for him to come here for dinner."

"Wow, Hunter is so awesome. What’s more, he is still single. I really don’t know why Casey dares to come here with Edith."

Hunter was full of pride. He even cast a contemptuous look at Casey, as if to show off his rich.

Casey directly ignored Hunter. He didn't think how powerful a person with kidney deficiency could be.

Edith was also looking around curiously. It was the first time she came to such a magnificent building.

Casey saw that Edith was interested in this place, so he said, "If you like it, I can bring you here for meals every day."

Edith's eyes widened. Come here for meals every day? How rich that would be?

But for Casey, who could afford Heart of Venus, it should be nothing.

"Don't brag about it here. Do you know how many efforts Hunter spent to book a private room here? You think this is the restaurant that everyone can come. Come here for meals every day? You are just a gigolo. What do you have so that you can take Edith here for meals every day?" Diana said mercilessly.

Hunter also sneered, thinking that Casey was bragging.

Those classmates also laughed at Casey.

Casey pursed his lips and didn't say anything. People who were high-powered never bothered to explain to insignificant persons.

After they went in the TC International Hotel, a waiter ran over to greet them.

The waiter glanced at Hunter and asked, "Sir, do you have a reservation?"

Hunter nodded and said, "Phoenix Pavilion."

When the waiter heard the name of private room, his expression changed a little. He said, "Sir, I'm sorry. Phoenix Pavilion has already been booked. We also have an ordinary private room here. You..."

"What!" Hunter yelled out suddenly, "I have already booked Phoenix Pavilion a few days ago. Why are you giving it to someone else?"

"That's right, one of our golden card customers is used to eating at Phoenix Pavilion. His priority is higher than yours, and the customer is over there." The waiter explained.

Hunter suddenly felt so embarrassed. He knew that if he applied for a golden card at TC International Hotel, he had to recharge one million at least, but he didn't have that much money.

He showed off in front of his classmates just now. He didn't expect to run into such an embarrassing thing so quickly.

He glanced over there and found a huge man in a high-end suit standing over there who looked like the boss of a certain group. He was just a branch manager, so he didn’t have ability to compete with that man.

Just as Hunter was entangled in how to solve this matter, Casey walked to the side, took out his mobile phone, and dialed Charles’ number.

"I'm at TC International Hotel. I want the Phoenix Pavilion, but someone is fighting the private room with us, you help me deal with it."

"No problem." Charles replied.

"Guys, or... let’s go to the ordinary private room?" Hunter asked awkwardly.

At this time, Casey stepped forward and said, "Since you booked Phoenix Pavilion, then go to Phoenix Pavilion. Why do we go to the ordinary private room?"
