The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 57

At first, Hunter laughed at Casey and thought that he would not dare to order the expensive dishes. But after seeing what Casey ordered, he stunned.

After a short moment, the price of the dishes that Casey ordered reached about ten thousand dollars.

The people at the table were also surprised by Casey, but thought they didn’t need to pay for it, so no one stopped Casey.

Others didn’t care about what Casey ordered, but Hunter cared. He had to pay half of the bill, and the dishes Casey ordered were beyond his budget a lot.

He immediately patted the table and shouted at Casey, "Are you crazy? Order so many dishes, can you eat all of them?"

Casey looked up at Hunter, said, "There are more than ten people here. It’s easy for us to eat them up, isn’t it?"

"But…but you still shouldn’t…" Hunter would have liked to say that you shouldn't order so many expensive dishes. But when seeing everyone looking at him, he thought others may think that he was not as generous as Casey if he said so, therefore, he took back the words.

"What's the matter? Do you think it is too expensive?" Casey asked.

Hunter felt embarrassed, had only to say, "How can I think it’s too expensive as there are only few dishes? I just think the kinds of the dishes you ordered were too unitary. I’m afraid that they will be tired of them."

Others immediately felt that Hunter was considerable, praised him.

"Our monitor is really kind, afraid we may be tired of the same food, ask to add more different types of food. "

"Yeah, these dishes are expensive. But they are a piece of cake to Hunter, he’s certainly not distressed about the money."

"I think it is Casey himself distressed money, even said that the monitor thought that was expensive, he still doesn’t think how much worse he is when compared with the monitor."

Although they were all flattering Hunter, but he was not happy at all. As things had gone this way, he could puff himself up to his own cost.

Casey heard Hunter's words, nodded, then turned to the waiter, said, "Each for every dish on this page, and this page as well as that one."

Seeing the way Casey ordered food was the same as he used in Harue Restaurant, Hunter suddenly felt regret for what he said.

Who could afford all the food in the menu?

But he just bragged, and it was too late to take back what he said."

"Well, Casey, don't just order dishes, let’s get some wine." Hunter thought that when it came to order drinks meant that the dishes were enough. Then Casey would stop ordering food.

Casey nodded, turned to the wine page, took a general look, said, "Ten bottles of your most expensive wine, by the way, get some good drinks."

Hunter heard Casey's words and almost spat out blood because of anger.

The most expensive wine in TC International Hotel was 1188 dollars for each bottle, and Casey directly asked for ten bottles, which was nearly twelve thousand dollars.

Was this guy really crazy?

Hunter felt that his breathing was not smooth, he originally thought it would take about 4 thousand dollars at most. But after Casey ordered the food, he was afraid that he had to spend at least ten thousand dollars even Casey would pay half of the bill.

"You fucking idiot. Haven’t you had delicious food before, even ordered so much dishes? Damn it all! But anyway, we will go fifty-fifty. Then I will only pay half of the bill and I won’t pay even one cent more."

"Damn it! Even you, such a jerk, doesn’t worry about it, I am also fearless. After all, I have deposit, and you will be regarded as a man who decides to dine and dash by the hotel if you don’t have enough money."

Hunter felt better when he thought like this.

After ordering the wine, Casey closed the menu and returned it to the waiter.

"That’s all. We will tell you if we need more later." Casey said.

The waiter immediately nodded. It was his first time to meet such a generous guest, thinking that he must be a bigwig, otherwise he couldn’t be so bold.

After writing down what Casey ordered, the waiter quickly went out to tell the kitchen.

Diana turned her head and looked at Casey suspiciously, and then asked Edith, "Edith, did you give him all your money and want him to push himself forward in front of everyone?"

Edith shook her head, said, "No. Casey has been spending his own money recently, and he also bought his watch on his own. How can I afford such an expensive watch with my salary?"

"So how does he get his money?" Diana continued asking.

Edith thought about it and said, "Maybe he earned it himself."

Dianna didn’t believe it at all. In her impression, Casey was a jerk that couldn’t do anything. How could he earn so much money?

Or... Casey was pretending to be a nebbish before?

Thinking of this, Diana remembered Edith said that the voice of her Prince Charming was a bit like Casey’s, and that day she sent a message to her Prince Charming, Casey's mobile phone actually rang.

All this made her suspect the relationship between Casey and Caesar.

It was never going to happen! Diana didn’t believe that Casey was Caesar, but still took out the mobile phone quickly and sent a message to Caesar.

Then she hurriedly stared at Casey, and didn’t hear his phone ring.

Diana sighed with relief, it seemed that she misunderstood it.

"How could this fool be my Prince Charming, and I'm really stupid. If he is my Prince Charming, he must buy a million-dollar watch instead of a sixty-thousand-dollar one." Diana murmured.

She did not know that Casey had set it in silent mode when he arrived here, so there was no sound of hint tone.

Diana glanced at Casey arrogantly, then stopped thinking. She didn’t care how Casey got his money, anyway, she didn’t need to pay the bill.

The water severed the dishes soon. They were very excited to see those exquisite dishes.

"Hunter, thanks to you that we can eat such good food."

"Yeah, Hunter, it is the first time that I can eat such an expensive dish. Let’s make a toast."

"Come on, let’s all drink a toast to Hunter for we can taste the expensive but delicious wine."

……

Others picked up the glass and began to toast to Hunter.

Although Hunter was smiling, but he felt very painful. The wine they drank was not wine but his hard-earned money.

He saw Casey was calm, as if he didn’t care his money at all, cursed, "I do not believe you aren’t painful to spend so much money. You can pretend to be a rich man for a while, then don’t cry when it comes to check out."

Others were pigging out and toasting to Hunter. All of them praised that he was generous and honored them.

After drinking and being praised by so many people, Hunter was conceited and said this money was a piece of cake to him.

Everyone seemed to have forgotten that Casey would also pay half for the dinner, none of them talked to him.

Casey also did not bother to chat with them, and enjoyed himself with Edith.

Almost an hour and a half later, everyone was full and looked very triumphant.

"Hunter, we all have had enough. You can check now." A man said.

"No problem, since everyone was full, then I'll check out. After that, let’s go to karaoke." Hunter also drank a little too much and spoke a lot louder.

Others cheered immediately.

"Don't forget that Casey will split the bill with Hunter. Now, he doesn’t speak, maybe he wants to stack the deck."

Hunter also sneered and glanced at Casey. He thought that Casey wanted to welch on what he said, so he kept silent. Fortunately, someone mentioned it.

"Excuse me, check out!"

The waiter immediately took the bill and went to Hunter.

"That man and I go halves for the bill, so I will only pay half of the bill, and he will pay the rest, okay?" Hunter said.

The waiter nodded and said, "Sir, you're spending a total of thirty thousand dollars, and if you pay half of it, you'll have to pay fifteen dollars."

Hunter, who had been smiling, immediately sobered up and also almost fell from the chair.

"How much is it?" Hunter asked in disbelief.

"It's fifteen thousand dollars." The waiter repeated it again.

Hunter swallowed. He only had seventeen thousand dollars of working capital. This meal almost ran out of all his money.

"Well, that man will pay first. I need to transfer money." Hunter wanted to see whether Casey had so much money, so he casually made an excuse.

The waiter had to go to Casey.

"Sir, it’s..."

Everyone stared at Casey with a sneer and thought he couldn't have so much money.

"I think he was bragging. How could he have had so much money? He might have cried and welched."

"It is thirty thousand dollars. The half of it is still a large amount of money. Casey designated cannot get so much money."

"In my opinion, he may ask Edith to pay for him."

......

Casey was not as slow as Hunter, but directly took out his bank card, handed it to the waiter, said, "Here is it."

The waiter immediately took the card, swiped it, and let Casey enter the password.

Everyone thought that there wasn’t enough money in his account.

But at the next moment, the waiter smiled, returned the card to Casey and said, "Sir, you have paid successfully, thank you for your support of our hotel!"
