The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 63

Edith looked at Casey in surprise and said, "But Black Wolf's men are still outside..."

"They're not going to bother us again." Casey said with a smile.

Edith was stunned and didn't know how Casey did it. But she didn't think too much about it. She grabbed Casey's hand and stood up from the sofa.

Other classmates all looked at Casey suspiciously and did not believe that Black Wolf would no longer bother them.

"Don't believe him. He is trying to cheat us out and let us be beaten by Black Wolf together with him."

"I think so. Just now Black Wolf said that he would come back and deal with us. Now, how can he not bother us anymore? Casey must be lying."

"Casey, tell me, have you discussed with Black Wolf to trick us?"

Casey directly ignored these people and pulled Edith and walked to the outside of the private room.

Although Diana didn't believe Casey could beat Black Wolf, she still gritted her teeth and got up to follow him.

When they walked to the middle of the corridor, Edith and Diana were surprised to see those people writhing around on the floor.

"Casey, are they all defeated by you?" Edith asked.

"No. I don't know why they fell to the ground." Casey pretended to know nothing.

"Why did you fall to the ground?" Casey glanced at the people on the ground and put on a murderous look.

The man got goose bumps and said in a hurry, "I… We see that the floor is a little dirty. So, we are cleaning the floor."

Edith and Diana were speechless. They felt that they were treated as a fool.

Casey shrugged and said to them, "Look, they are cleaning the floor."

Edith and Diana did not think too much. They just wanted Black Wolf's men not to bother them again.

Why didn't they see Black Wolf? Could it be that Black Wolf had something to do and left, so that they let Casey go?

It seemed to be the only reasonable explanation.

Why was there a person who looked like a pig? It was so strange.

Two girls followed Casey and walked out in confusion.

Seeing that nothing happened after Casey and Edith and Diana went out, Hunter and others also walked out cautiously.

When they saw the people lying on the ground, they were shocked.

"Well… Did Casey do this?"

"Is Casey so powerful? No wonder he is so fearless."

A man lying on the ground knew that Casey didn't want these people to know his strength. So, he said, "Excuse me, please get out of our way so that we can clean the floor."

"So you are cleaning the floor. I have thought these people were knocked down by Casey." People were relieved.

"How could it be that Casey defeated them? He is such a loser who will only get beaten up."

"Oh, we are in their way of cleaning. Let's go, or we will be miserable after Black Wolf bring his men back later."

They all nodded and went to the outside of KTV.

Hunter also came out of the private room. He looked down at the people on the ground and was surprised. However, he did not intend to stay any longer and was about to leave.

Suddenly, a hand caught his ankle. He turned around and saw that it was a man who looked like a pig.

"What… What do you want?" Hunter asked uneasily.

"I have something to discuss with you. I have to revenge!" Black Wolf spoke.

Hunter widened his eyes and exclaimed, "You are Black Wolf?"

After coming out of the KTV, Edith and Diana were both relieved. Today, they were more scared than hurt. But they still decided not to get together with these so-called classmates anymore.

Edith looked at Diana and asked, "Diana, how are you going back?"

"I'll take a taxi. You two can go back and leave me alone." Diana glanced at Casey unconsciously, with a sense of loss in her eyes.

Why was he Caesar? If he didn't marry Edith, even if he was a well-known loser in J City, she would chase him.

Diana was helpless. Although she was obsessed with Caesar, she would not steal her best friend's husband.

"Then we'll go first. Take care!" Edith said to Diana. Then, she turned to hold Casey's hand and left.

On the way, Casey kept a strange smile. No one knew what he was thinking.

Edith felt strange and asked, "What are you laughing at?"

"Well… Is this the first time we've held hands?"

Edith was surprised. Then, she quickly looked down and found that her hand was still held by Casey. She even did not realize there was anything wrong.

After being reminded by Casey, Edith blushed and tried to withdraw her hand.

Casey immediately grabbed it more tightly and did not release her.

"Bad guy." Edith said unhappily.

Since she couldn't break free, Edith gave up and let Casey pull her.

Casey smiled mischievously. He thought that opportunities were created by himself. If he let go at that time, it would be very difficult for him to hold Edith's hand again.

They walked to the home. The streetlight shone on them, lengthening their shadows.

At home, Amara was chatting with Remi Pearce, her neighbor.

Seeing Edith come back, Amara immediately pulled Edith over and said, "Edith, come and chat with Remi. Casey, go and wash the dishes in the kitchen."

Remi had been showing off her son Brian to Amara. Amara was jealous. Now Edith came back, she had to show off Edith to Remi.

Casey didn't say anything and went into the kitchen to wash the dishes.

"In fact, Edith is already a senior manager in the company now. She has a monthly salary of more than 10,000." Amara said triumphantly.

Remi glanced at Amara and said loudly, "Really? Brian's salary is only more than 10,000. Edith is so capable now."

"You praise her too much. Edith has been doing well recently. Maybe Francis will give her a promotion." Amara's words were modest, but her expression was smug.

"It sounds great." Remi seemed to be a little unhappy.

She rolled her eyes and then asked, "Edith, your salary is so high. Would you like to buy a car? Brian just bought a car with a price of more than 200,000, which was called Kameri. I don't know much about it. But that car is really good."

"I see that Casey rides an electric vehicle to take you to work every day. How tiring it is. When will you buy a car?"

Edith was embarrassed. It was true that her salary was now over 10,000. But she had only been promoted a short time ago and had no savings at all. How could she afford to buy a car that cost more than 200,000?

Amara also knew it. So, her complacency disappeared.

"I feel we have to think carefully about buying a car. It's good that Casey sends Edith to work every day. Anyway, it's Casey who is tired, not Edith." Amara tried to save her face.

"Remi, I've just been promoted. I've got all my money to support my family. I will consider to buy a car in the future." Edith explained.

Hearing this, Remi was triumphant again. She seemed to want to say that Edith couldn't afford a car, but her son could afford it. Her son was more powerful!

"You should buy a car as soon as possible. You will feel that it is really convenient to have a car." Said Remi.

At this time, Casey finished washing the dishes and came out. Seeing him, Amara said, "Hey, in fact, we've planned to buy a car for a long time. However, this loser, Casey broke Dempsey's TV which cost 40,000 not long ago. We have paid a lot of money. Otherwise, we would have already bought a car."

Hearing Amara's words, Casey said, "We can buy it now."

Amara immediately glared at him. She had managed to find a reason to hide the truth that they couldn't afford to buy a car. Unexpectedly, Casey exposed it again.

How could they buy a car now? By selling Casey? Since Casey said this now, if they could not buy a car later, they would be laughed at by Remi. Amara was furious inside and wanted to kill Casey.

"What are you talking about here? Get out of here. It is not your turn to talk here!" Amara said.
