The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 72

Fat Guy directly pounded the table in a sudden, who looked incredulously at the 12 dices in front of Casey.

He thought he had an incredible ability in rolling dices, but it was impossible for him to make the 12 dices form a vertical line. In addition, the uppermost one was the smallest point.

He never believed the plot that only existed in TV dramas. After all, it was not so easy to roll dices. However, this scene really happened in front of him.

After seeing the dices in front of Casey, all the people around opened widely their mouths, looking at Casey with incredible eyes.

Both Morgan and Conor also were very surprised, thinking that Casey couldn’t absolutely win Fat Guy. To their surprise, Casey showed a better skill of rolling dices than Fat Guy.

“How many hidden skills does this guy have?” Conor muttered.

“It’s not true. We compete for points. It’s not OK even though you pile them up.”

Fat Guy directly walked to Casey and then took the dices down one by one. Later he was shocked to find all the dices below were one point face up.

For points, he got the same as Casey did, but for technique, he had lost to Casey.

It was the first time that he felt frustrated after spending so many years in gambling in the casino.

“If you feel unconvinced, then we can consider it as a draw. We can compete in other items.” Casey said with smile.

Obviously, Fat Guy was not resigned, and said immediately, “OK, let’s compete in other items!”

After speaking, he walked towards those tables in the center of the casino.

Casey followed him, and they began to compete in all kinds of items of the casino.

The audience in the center uttered exclamations from time to time, highly praising Casey’s awesome gambling skills.

Fat Guy’s face became more and more bitter. Every time he lost, Casey asked him to take off a piece of closing. At last, there was only a pair of underpants on Fat Guy.

The final round ended and he walked to Casey, looking down and keeping silent.

“What’s wrong with the Gambling King? Does he plan to use violence because he has lost miserably?”

“If the Gambling King intends to use violence, this guy will definitely die.”

“Oh my god, the Gambling King is going to get angry. Run quickly!”

Casey stared at Fat Guy with narrowed eyes, not knowing what he wanted to do.

Morgan stood in front of Casey and said coldly, “You fucking fatty, admit your defeat. If you want to use violence because of the defeat. I don’t mind making you taste the righteous iron fist!”

Fat Guy kept silent and clenched his fists after coming in front of Casey.

Morgan thought he was about to take action, so he raised his hand and planned to take action.

At this time, Fat Guy suddenly knelt down with a plop in front of Casey, then grabbed Casey by the thigh, moaning, “Master, please let me be your apprentice. I promise to be at your disposal as long as you impart your gambling skills to me and allow me to keep the underpants on.”

Everyone was shocked and the whole casino was quiet for a few seconds.

Then many people began to laugh, because to their surprise, such a Gambling King who always had a commanding presence would stoop to compromise.

Besides, now there was only a pair of underpants on Fat Guy and he lost in the final round. Logically, he should take it off.

No one had expected that he would kneel down to beg for Casey’s mercy in order not to take it off.

Casey also didn’t expect that Fat Guy would act in this way, so he was a little overwhelmed for a while.

“Well… could you stand up first?” Casey asked.

“If master doesn’t agree, I won’t stand up.” Fat Guy kept stubborn.

Casey didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t stand seeing a 100 kilo-weighted fatty begging for mercy in front of him.

“Well, I agree. Stand up and you don’t need to take your underpants off.” Casey said.

Fat Guy instantly stood up from the ground, showing a grateful smile at Casey and then hurried to dress himself.

“Master, I will follow your orders from now on. I will do as you ask me to.” After getting himself dressed, Fat Guy said to Casey respectfully.

Casey nodded and said, “Stop running casino in the future and work for Conor, who will maximize your talents.”

“Yes, Master!” Fat Guy answered.

Morgan looked Fat Guy up and down, and then looked at Conor. A smirk suddenly appeared on his face.

“Why are you smirking?” Casey asked.

“I am thinking, can we go to the west for Buddhist scriptures if you get a White Dragan Horse?” Morgan said.

“What are you talking about?” Conor said.

“Look, Casey is Master, you are Monkey King, this fat man is Pigsy and I am Monk Sha. We just need a White Dragon Horse now.” Morgan said with smile.

Hearing what Morgan said, Fat Guy instantly gave him a stare and cursed, “Get away! You are Pigsy. I am Marshal Canopy!”

“Almost the same.” Morgan laughed.

After taming “Pigsy”, Casey asked Fat Guy to follow Conor and Morgan to the Starry Night Club, and he quickly went back home.

He seldom returned so late. Although he knew Edith might not care about whether he came back late or not, he still thought he had to go back early.

After he arrived home, Amara and Nicolas had already gone to their bedroom to sleep. Casey crept up alone to wash himself up and then returned to the bedroom.

Edith was lying on the bed and seemed to have fell asleep. Casey closed the door cautiously and intended to lie down by Edith’s side.

Since Edith allowed Casey to sleep on the bed last time, Casey had never slept on the floor.

Casey was about to lie down when Casey suddenly said, “Go to sleep on the floor.”

Casey was surprised, not expecting that Edith was still awake.

“Are you still awake?” Casey asked.

“Well, it is not because of you anyway.” Edith said angrily.

She had been imagining after Casey went out, who stayed awake naturally because of Casey. She was just angry just now by saying that.

Casey felt somewhat confused, not knowing who did he provoke Edith, who got so angry.

Did her menstrual period come?

It seemed so. He had heard that the woman in menstrual period would be in bad mood somehow. If so, he had better not upset her.

Casey obediently put the quilt on the floor, intending to spend the night sleeping on the floor.

Seeing Casey really went to sleep on the floor, Edith firmly believed that he had a guilty conscience. Otherwise, why did he go to sleep on the floor while she only said so.

Her grievance grew stronger and her eyes were filled with tears.

“Oh, it’s so disgusting. It’s none of my business no matter what he has done. Why should I shed tears because of this? It’s so strange.”

Edith held back the tears and turned around in order not to show her appearance to Casey.

If this guy explained to her where he had been, she might forgive him.

Seeing Edith acting like that, Casey felt she was uncomfortable, so he didn’t disturb her but lay on the ground and fell asleep silently.

After a long time, seeing Casey fall asleep, Edith couldn’t bear the grievance in her mind and directly dissolved into tears.

To her surprise, this guy was so heartless, who ignored her grievance and let her bear it alone. It seemed that she had been mistaken about him.

She thought the affections between them had been growing better slowly, but it seemed that she was just imagining things.

Edith felt sad for the whole night and finally fell asleep in deep tiredness.

The next morning when Edith woke up, she felt her eyes a little painful. She had cried for quite a while last night, but Casey didn’t notice it.

She was about to get up with disappointment when she suddenly found a bowl of brown sugar water on the bedside table.

Edith felt somewhat confused. She was not in menstrual period, but who had prepared brown sugar water for her?

Then the door was pushed open and Casey walked in with a bowl of porridge in his hand.

“Did you wake up? Come to have some porridge to warm your body.” Seeing Edith wake up, Casey said instantly.

Edith thought Casey was definitely pleasing her because of his guilt. She wouldn’t let herself be tricked by Casey.

“Well, don’t think I will ignore your shamelessness with your gallantry. Casey, let’s live separately and don’t interfere with each other in order to avoid troubles.” Edith said.

Casey got puzzled, not knowing what was wrong with Edith, and asked, “Are you unhappy due to the menstrual period?”

“Not really. Stop finding excuses!” Edith was shy and angry, who itched to bite Casey.

“No? But why are you so angry?” Casey asked doubtfully.

“Well, you should ask yourself. Casey, I don’t care if you go out to find other women. I am really sorry for that, but you had better not interfere with my affairs in the future.” While speaking, Edith dissolved into tears again.

Casey felt more confused, “Find other women? What are you talking about?”

“Stop playing the fool! Didn’t you go out to find other women last night?” Edith said angrily.

Casey suddenly didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry, and said, “I have told you that I have something to deal with. How could I go to find other women?”

“If you don’t believe, I can swear to god if I had done that kind of shameless things, I would die without descendants in the future!”

Seeing Casey make such an oath, Edith suddenly realized she might have misunderstood Casey.

“Really?” Casey asked.

“Of course. Only you are in my eyes. How could I go to find other women?” Casey said.

Edith suddenly felt quite relieved.

Seeing her like that, Casey suddenly asked, “So… are you jealous?”

“Of course not. Well, I just asked casually.” Edith’s face turned red with shyness.

When Casey saw her lovely appearance, his heartbeat immediately began to accelerate. Then his gaze fell on Edith’s soft lips and he leaned forward slowly.
