The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 190

Melissa took over the invoice and certificate in Amara’s hand scornfully. When she saw the price on invoice, she immediately widened her eyes.

“238 thousand! How can it be so expensive?” Melissa exclaimed.

Sidney went over the have a look. When he saw the price on the invoice, he was shocked.

“The certificate has a security mark on it, so it doesn't look fake.” Sidney said.

Melissa took a glance at him and said, “This is false, you forged it. Amara, don't think you can cheat me. You deliberately forged to cheat my money, otherwise who will take invoice out?”

“If you don't believe it, we can go and check, I'll convince you.” Amara said.

Melissa was anxious. Since Amara had said that, that should not be false.

“I don’t want to go and check. Your fakes should be destroyed.” With that, Melissa was about to tear the invoice and certificate.

Amara’s facial expression changed. She did not expect Melissa would do that after making sure the fact.

She stretched out her hand to grab it, but Melissa hurried back and did not give opportunity to Amara.

As long as she destroyed the invoice and certificate, no one could tell how much Amara’s bracelet values, and she needed not compensate so much money.

But as she was about to tear the certificate, a hand suddenly showed up and easily snatched the invoice and certificate back.

Melissa looked at her hands with nothing in them. When she looked up, she found that the invoice and certificate were taken by Casey.

“Casey, you loser, give the invoice and certificate to me!” Melissa shouted.

Casey did not pay attention to her, but gave back the invoice and certificate to Amara.

Amara sneered, “Casey is my family member, do you think he will listen to your words?”

Casey was surprised that it was the first time Amara recognized him as a family member, and it was under such a situation.

Melissa was flummoxed. Now Amara had the invoice and certificate. If Amara called the police, she would be in the inferior position.

“Compensate me the money now.” Amara blustered.

“Amara, your family live in our house and have our food, and you now ask me to compensate you money? Besides, we're relatives, and I didn't mean to do it. How can you ask me to give you money?” Melissa began to play the emotional card.

“Haha, why not? You family is rich, 200 thousand is not a big deal for you. Take it out now.” Amara sneered.

“If you want money with me, you now get out of our house. You go live in a hotel with Casey. Our house is a foreign style house, you should pay for it and the charge is equal to 200 thousand.” Melissa said.

Amara immediately widened her eyes. She did not expect Melissa would ask her money for living here.

“Ok, even if I sleep on the road, I want that money!” Amara said gnashing teeth.

Melissa did not expect Amara to have backbone. For a while she was in dilemma.

“Move out of the house now. I don't want to see your family any more.” Melissa said.

“OK, compensate the money to me now and I will move out.” Amara said.

Melissa was almost about to be mad. She was not willing to give her more than 200 thousand, but Amara was adamant, so she did not know how to do.

“No money, right? I'll call the police now.” Amara was to call the police.

Melissa hurriedly stopped her, and then walked to the bedroom and took a hundred thousand cash out.

“You stayed in my house for one day, and twice you escaped trouble because of Jaxon. So I will give you one hundred thousand and the rest offset. From now on, we will have nothing to do with each other and you don’t come to our house again.” Melissa said.

“Melissa, do you have a black heart? One hundred thousand?”Amara asked.

“What, don’t want it? Then I will take it back.” Melissa was to take back the money.

Amara immediately robbed the money over.

“Melissa, you win. When you need help, don’t come to us!” Amara said gnashing teeth.

“Funny, why do we need help? I think you'd better think about where you're going to live after you get out of here. Francis won't let you live there, for sure, so you'll have to sleep on the street!” Melissa said.

Amara ignored her and went back to the room to pack up things.

Edith did not want to continue to live here, so she hurried to pack up things.

She took her things downstairs, put her luggage into Casey’s car and spit to Melissa’s house. She scolded, “A broken house, do you think I want to live here?”

“Mom, get in the car. Be quick” Edith said.

After sitting in the car, Amara was still angry. She turned to look at Casey and said, “Casey, it is your fault. If not Jaxon helped you, Melissa this bitch will not only give me one hundred thousand.”

Casey said with a smile, “It is just a jewelry, I'll buy one for you again.”

“You said it, and you can't go back to your words.” Amara said.

“Let's think about where we're going to stay at night. We can’t sleep on the street.” Said Nicolas.

“Look at you, you are worthless. If we don't live Melissa’s house, we can live in a hotel? Why should we sleep on the streets?” Amara stared at him.

“Why don't you go to the place where I live? The environment there is not bad.” Casey said.

“Is that hotel you're staying in habitable? We'd better find one ourselves, but you'll have to pay.” Amara said.

“Mom, what are you talking about? Casey's living place is better than you think. Let's go to his living place. Casey, drive.” Edith said.

Casey smiled and then drove toward the Huadu Hotel.

“I tell you, I wouldn't live there if it was awful.” Amara muttered.

When they arrived, Amara and Nicolas widened their eyes in surprise. Looking at the resplendent and magnificent hotel, they doubted it was not in the county. Why the hotel was better than J City?

“Casey, did you live here yesterday?” Amara asked.

Casey nodded and said, “Let's go in, I will let them arrange a room for you.”

Amara was surprised. She didn’t want to leave now, since it was much better than Melissa’s house.

Casey let the hotel staff arrange a presidential suite for Amara and Nicolas, and Edith and Casey lived in a room.

In the evening, they went to the hotel cafeteria to have dinner. Although Amara lived there, she kept saying it was wasteful, since it was a good hotel. She once wanted to let Casey find a small hotel and they lived in a presidential suite, saying to save the money.

Edith was angry to heat that. She said it was Casey’s money. If Amara said that again, she will refund their room.

Amara shut up but kept chanting in her heart.

...

Melissa's home.

Jaxon and Flora went back late. Thinking that Casey and Edith had been taken care of the men of Black Wolf, they were pleased.

They went back and found they all moved away. Flora thought it was something big happened to Casey and Edith, so she asked Melissa what was going on.

Melissa told Flora what happened angrily. When she heard Casey and Edith came back intact, Flora was confused.

Jaxon was incredible too. He did not expect Casey and Edith could avoid Black Wolf's anger, there must be something happened.

But they felt that Casey and Edith offended Black Wolf, so Black Wolf would not spare them, sooner or later they would take care of them.

“Mom, don't feel sad about the one hundred thousand. Jaxon will give it to you and buy you a jewelry values more than 200 thousand.” Flora said with a smile.

Jaxon was awkward, thinking Flora didn't feel sorry about his money, but he did not dare to refute, but only nodded with a smile.

“Well, forget about it. You two are going to be engaged in a couple of days, and we mustn't let their family's misfortune affect us. By the way, have you decided where to hold the engagement banquet?” Melissa asked.

Flora said with a smile, “Jaxon said to me, our engagement banquet must be the best, so we plan to hold it in the Huadu Hotel.”

Melissa and Sidney widened their eyes. They had lived in Yutian County for so long, so they had heard of Huadu Hotel, which was the best hotel in Yutian County.

“Flora, I heard that to have a meal or sleep in Huadu Hotel needs connection, and the price is very expensive, do we really have the engagement banquet there?” Melissa asked.

“Mom, don’t worry, Jaxon is Leonardo's man, he has connection too. We have told him, so we are able to hold the banquet there.” Flora said.

“Yeah, Auntie, I have already told them and they will reserve a private room for us.” Jaxon said with a smile.

Melissa and Sidney showed a bright smile and completely forgot the things about Amara.

“Jaxon, you are amazing and you even can book a room in Huadu Hotel. We finally have an opportunity to go to the Huadu Hotel to have a meal. We should let Amara about it. Now they may be in a small guesthouse. If they know we will have the engagement banquet in Huadu Hotel, they must be jealousy of our family.”

Melissa said complacently.
