The Supreme God novel Chapter 361

In the Sun Sect, two young men suddenly appeared at the residence of Evan and Herbert; they claimed to be principal disciples of the Sun Sect. They told Evan and Herbert that Austin had sent them to discuss something important with them and since the big yard was an inconvenient place surrounded by residences of other disciples, they needed to take Evan and Herbert somewhere quiet for further discussion.

Once Evan and Herbert heard that Austin sent the two disciples, they did not think twice; they trusted them since Austin always had their back and because of the current circumstances, Austin needed to be discreet. Austin's life was in danger, he was being pursued by two forces from the Flaming Sun Valley and Blood Wolf Team, every movement they made was under scrutiny and they needed to be careful.

They left the yard and followed the two principal disciples towards a dense forest. As they got closer to the forest the more the number of people they met dwindled, the only company they had was the occasional chipping birds or a squirrel dashing to a nearby tree and the crunching of their footsteps on the dried leaves scattered on the ground, which became denser as they approached the forest.

After a while, the four people arrived at the entrance of the forest. They were so preoccupied with their thoughts that they had no time to admire the beauty of the forest. The towering canopy of trees was a sight to behold; the sky had virtually vanished and all they could see were fragments of blue with streaks of light dancing through the spaces creating the illusion of natural feast.

"Brothers, Austin has very few friends in this Sun Sect. It's a pleasant surprise that you are familiar with him.

So how is he now? Is he all right? And what does he want you to discuss with us? Does he need any help from us?"

As soon as they arrived at the open space in the forest, Evan could no longer hold his curiosity and asked them about Austin's present situation.

"Evan, since the two elder brothers were sent by Austin, it means that he is safe at present. There is no need to ask. It's just a waste of time."

Herbert said.

"Yes, yes. Austin has the ability to fix everything and take care of himself, he can't be in danger."

Evan nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, the two strangers burst into laughter.

"Ha ha, the two idiots are so naive, they really believe that we were sent by that coward Austin. Ha-ha, they are really two silly pigs. "

"Ha ha, bro, don't say that, maybe it's because our performance was too real that they believe us with no doubt. Humph, you idiots, you really think Austin is all right by now?

That coward was chased by the Flaming Sun Valley and the Blood Wolf Team; it is impossible that he could have escaped. It means that he has been punished to death.

Liu, fortunately, we did not fail our mission and deceived these two silly pigs into coming here.

All right, next we will leave them to you. You clean up the mess. But remember, you owe us a favor next time."

The two principal disciples leading the way suddenly burst into laughter in complete satisfaction. It was like the satisfaction of pulling a prank and witnessing the shock and embarrassment of the victims. They looked at Evan and Herbert with disdain and disgust.

"What are you talking about... You mean you were deceiving us this whole time, and you were actually not sent by Tin?"

"Damn it! Evan, we seem to have been deceived."

Evan and Herbert felt an array of emotions: disappointment, panic and even embarrassment when they heard their words. There was something wrong with the two disciples.

While the two were still laughing, two figures suddenly appeared from the shadow of a humongous tree which was so huge that it needed six grown adults to fully cover its circumference with their arms widely stretched.

They were also accompanied by two young men. One of them was a handsome man with a perfect appearance. He had high cheekbones with a perfectly symmetrical and fine bone structure. His gait gave him an elegant demeanor; however, an insidious smile lingered on his thin lips and perfectly lined teeth giving the impression of a predator playing with its prey, reflecting his tricky and ruthless character.

The other one was the total opposite, he was aloof and arrogant. He was tall and thin with long arms and legs giving him a lanky appearance and with a cold expression that always threw people off excluding them thousands of miles away.

"All right, brother Yu and Liu, you have done well this time. I will remember that I owe you a favor."

The handsome young man said. He stared at Evan and Herbert with a condescending look on his face. Suddenly, the fluctuation of vital energy force that was centered on him was released fiercely to contain Evan and Herbert in place.

Boom!

There was a small storm in the sky, a whirlwind moving in a fast swirling motion carried all the broken branches, fallen leaves, dust and sand crashing and colliding with each other; they were swept within a dozen feet of a square mile which turned the whole place into an empty vast land. The wind blew in powerful motions swiping everything in its wake, the sand and stones were flying in the air as the wind whistled by.

Evan and Herbert were standing two feet right in front of the handsome young man, exactly at the center of the small storm, flashing bolts of pure vital energy force hitting at them fiercely.

Boom!

Boom!

In a puff of the wind, Evan and Herbert felt like their bodies lifted and swirled around by a huge force. They could not even resist the powerful energy despite having a level six vital energy and level seven Energy Gathering Realm among themselves.

They were shocked by the fluctuation of vital energy, in a sheer show of might they were catapulted off the vortex and fell down on the ground of the forest more than a dozen feet away. Blood leaked around their teeth through their cold lips, escaping and drizzling down their faces. They were spitting blood in succession and incapacitated because of lack of breath; they were fighting to re-inflate their lungs. It seemed that the storm had displaced their internal organs, and they were injured internally.

"You... Who are you exactly? There is no hatred between us, why are you hurting us? Do you have any hatred with Tin?"

Evan struggled to get up and shouted angrily.

Herbert coughed and said, "Is there any misunderstanding between us? We are all disciples of the Sun Sect. I'm afraid this isn't good enough. If the top managers heard that we are fighting with each other..."

Herbert was a faster thinker than Evan. He understood that these were not their friends as earlier assumed and they were in danger, all he could think of was to scare them by mentioning the wrath of the top managers of their sect.

Before Austin left, he once asked the Sect Leader of the Sun Sect Theon to protect them.

Theon did not break his promise and asked outer disciples, Elders and stewards in their sect to take special care of Evan and Herbert.

Since Austin had left the Sun Sect, Evan and Herbert lost their backer, this meant that others would easily bully and oppress them.
