As his confident aura continued to increase, Scott quickly created another shining moon using his vital energy.

"Every one of you here today must die!" he roared.

Then Scott unleashed a howl of fury.

The moon hurtled towards his enemies with overwhelming momentum and looked unstoppable.

Seeing such a powerful demonstration of strength left Austin feeling bitter.

He initially thought Scott was just an ordinary man who had taken advantage of his relationship with Lois to gain strength.

But now, he understood this man they were up against had exceptional talent in the martial arts.

Although Lois, Nigel, and Elton were almost at the same refining level as Scott, their fighting abilities still could not match their opponent.

After listening to Lois' motivational analysis, Austin believed they could easily defeat Scott and Barbara because of their 5-2 advantage.

However, watching them struggle in fighting with Scott made him realize how wrong he was.

"Boy, why the hesitation? Are you having second thoughts?"

Momentarily distracted in the middle of her fight with Barbara, Lois had to question Austin. There was no doubt in her mind how urgent their situation was.

Her strength slightly prevailed over Barbara's, so she only felt a little pressure during the fight.

Still, she was well aware that victory for them depended on the outcome of her companions' battle with Scott.

The only way to win this battle was for Nigel, Elton, and Lyle to kill Scott. Otherwise, not only would they fail to get what they were aspiring for, but also they were likely to lose their lives.

And Barbara was very clear on this as well, so instead of attacking Lois, she concentrated on defense. And this was why Lois didn't easily defeat her opponent.

Austin sighed in resignation. His plan was to remain detached throughout the battle and observe from a safe distance while waiting for the chance to benefit from the anticipated violent ending.

At the same time, he dashed towards Barbara, and suddenly appeared in front of her. Then with a flash of black, Austin conjured his Negative Shadow Blade, which he used to hack the girl's throat.

Although she noticed Austin approaching, his speed caught her off-guard.

Still, Barbara paid little attention to his attack because she resented the fact that he had the guts to fight her when he was only at level seven of the Energy Gathering Realm.

Her neglect of Austin's abilities cost her, so she had no defense against the Negative Shadow Blade that suddenly slashed her throat.

Overwhelmed by the sudden crisis she faced, Barbara didn't even have the chance to distinguish what that black flash actually was.

She quickly held her sword vertically to protect the critical part of her body. At the same time, her vital energy flowed out and formed a shield for her upper body.

The sound of clanging escalated as weapons collided with each other. To Barbara's surprise, Austin's attack left a deep notch in the edge of her sword.

Alarmed, she cried out, "A high-grade spiritual weapon!"

How was it possible that Austin, only at level seven of the Energy Gathering Realm, was able to damage her sword, a level four low-grade spiritual weapon?

After analyzing the contradictory facts, Barbara subsequently theorized that Austin's sword must be a high-grade spiritual weapon.

The power and strength of Austin's weapon also confounded Lois. Then she remembered Austin saying he wanted a spiritual weapon.

One brow arched, Lois threw Austin a glance filled with implications.

Meeting her eyes, Austin figured out what was going on inside Lois' mind. Nonetheless, he was in no hurry to discuss this because he knew she couldn't spare the time to cause him trouble for the moment.

Seeing how Austin's interference put Barbara at a disadvantage outweighed her doubts about the disciple, much to Lois' surprise. She decided to finish the fight first before grilling Austin about her theory.

So, she pretended not to care about his keeping things a secret where his spiritual weapon was concerned as she called out to him.

"Good job, boy! Now let's finish off this slut!

I'll return you a great favor later."

She eyed Austin before wielding her whip and boxing Barbara in.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the fight between Nigel, Elton, and Lyle versus Scott was becoming more intense.

After being hit by Austin's Spiritual Sense Flying Needle, Scott felt pain spread in his brain, which made him pause from moving and exerting vital energy.

Instantly, his three opponents felt relieved of the great pressure they were facing.

They did realize it was Austin's spiritual-sense attack that threw Scott off and made him pause.

Surprised by Austin's timely assistance, they regrouped to employ all of their skills and attack Scott with more intensity.

A very shocked Scott tried to figure out what sort of attack he was subjected to.

The spiritual-sense attack!

And this was a symbol of the Mysterious-Realm martial master!

He thought, 'Is there a Mysterious-Realm master lurking in the shadows who poses a threat to me?'

Admittedly, the thought flustered him.

Fighting with rivals of the Earth Realm, he had absolute predominance. But he knew there was no chance of winning against a Mysterious-Realm master.

Controlling the moon he created with his mind, Scott was able to ward off the violent attacks from his three opponents.

Suddenly, he bowed before the bushes around the field with his hands clasped.

"Excuse me, grand master in the shadows. As far as I know, I've never offended a master of Mysterious Realm.

What would be your reason for stepping in our fight?"

Scott's sudden action and words confused Nigel, Elton, and Lyle.

"Yeah, there's no way for you to escape now, Scott. But if you surrender directly, we can grant you a swift death.

Otherwise, you're going to regret being alive!"

Although Lois could fare well in a one-on-one fight with Barbara, Austin's intervention gave her a better advantage. Both his smooth bodily movement skill and elusive Twin Shadow Blades had helped put Barbara's life in danger.

It was not long before Barbara's entire body was covered with wounds resulting from their attacks.

She was already sweating profusely and panting for breath. It was clear Barbara was nearly at the end of her strength.

While assisting Lois in attacking Barbara, Austin spared some of his spiritual sense to observe the other side of the battlefield.

He sniggered when he heard Scott mistaking him for a Mysterious-Realm master.

Gathering up his spiritual power, Austin produced another Spiritual Sense Flying Needle and controlled it to shoot towards Scott's brain.

Sharp pain forced Scott to pause and shake the feeling off.

Nigel, Elton, and Lyle noted the pause and realized Austin was attacking him with spiritual-sense skills.

All three seized the opportunity and attacked Scott in sync. Nigel's Ghost Shadow Chop, Elton's Black Demonic Foot, and Lyle's level three low-grade spiritual weapon charged at the enemy simultaneously.
