Luckily there had been no need to use it and she was sure nobody would be expecting it from her. This secret element was something that would become an advantage for her. She knew it. Deep in her heart, she knew that she could defeat Dan, with a little smartness and cleverness.

Now standing and facing Dan in the combat, she knew she couldn't hide her real competence anymore. Dan was stronger than her in vital energy, so she had to rely on her skill with the sword to compensate for her weaker vital energy. Her secret weapon had to be revealed, otherwise there would be no chance to win. She would lose the opportunity to be triumphant and end up losing to the boastful man.

With so many thoughts running in her mind, Sarah went all out. She felt herself get filled with a new and strong surge to fight and win. Raising her sword high in the air, her mannerism changed suddenly and her attack seemed more ferocious and aggressive than what she had been doing till now. Her eyes were filled with sharpness like two streaks of sharp sword radiance glistening as they moved closer towards their target.

Instantly, her body and hands seemed to have integrated with the long sword in her hand. Her hands glided like the wings of the eagle, elegant yet strong, seemingly delicate but firm in their hold.

Sensing the change in Sarah's demeanor, Dan was shocked. It didn't take him long to realize that though he was stronger than Sarah when it came to vital energy, Sarah's cultivation base in swordsmanship was higher than his. It might be a little but it was above his. He was surprised at her strength and ability, and filled with awe for the woman before him.

'This woman had been hiding her swordsmanship cultivation base till now. I should immediately use my most powerful skill to defeat her. He was not ready to be insulted by a woman, though she was much more talented than many of the other disciples. She was a worthy opponent but Dan was in no mood to relent or be defeated.

Without any hesitation, he collected all the vital energy within him and then released it, making it encircle him completely. His broad sword was also attached to the strong vital energy force which had encapsulated him.

He held his sword with one hand and let it sway over Sarah's head. It was a quick move by him, but Sarah was quicker enough and was able to save herself from his sword. She was not going to be affected by his show of power.

Being wrapped in the strong vital energy, his sword was extremely powerful and the momentum of the attack he made seemed as if a large group of army was engaged in a battle!

'Huh! I must say, though you're good at swordsmanship, my vital energy quality is obviously better than yours. Don't think that you can defeat me. I can still suppress you!'

With a sly smile plastered on his face, Dan looked at Sarah. His eyes were mocking her. Those stares were making her fume with anger and hatred.

Time seemed to have frozen and they seemed to have forgotten that all the disciples were watching them. It was like they both were the only ones who mattered and only one would be left standing.

With the momentum of Dan's attack, Sarah's hair kept being blown up by the wind of the sword energy. However, she wasn't a person to get panic or scared easily.

She kept her nerves calm and stared at Dan. Observing all his moves, she was waiting for the right chance to make the right move.

She realized that she had to make a quick and strong attack which no one would expect from her. Suddenly, she raised the long sword and thrust it at Dan.

Her swordsmanship hadn't seemed anything special to all around. 'You think you can defeat me. But now you will see, ' she thought to herself.

The moment she thrust the sword ahead, a streak of cold flash radiated in front of her. To everyone's surprise, the sword radiance split into two, then into four. Swiftly it shattered into countless streaks of sword radiance.

Being surrounded by the sword radiance, Sarah summoned up all her vital energy. She looked with a smile at Dan's shocked face and said, "Dan, get ready. Let me show you the power of my sword intent!"

Next moment, the air around her imploded into pieces by the radiance emerging from her weapon. The area around her was covered by the intent realm of her sword. It looked as if she had merged with the sword and stood as one.
