You mean you killed all those members of the Blood Wolf Team? Including the one at the Earth Realm?

Mindy asked. Astonishment flooded over her when she saw the calm look on Austin's face.

Although she had a dragon feminine constitution, she hadn't activated its power yet. She was currently only at level six of the Energy Gathering Realm, and a cultivator of the Earth Realm was, to her, an undefeatable enemy.

Austin, however, had killed a cultivator of the Earth Realm and a dozen his companions in just an hour. That meant Austin's power was no weaker than a cultivator of the Earth Realm, even though he was only at level nine of the Energy Gathering Realm.

A cultivator at level nine of the Energy Gathering Realm was only one step away from the Earth Realm, but there was a significant difference between the two Realms.

It was a qualitative change to go across the divide between the Energy Gathering Realm and the Earth Realm. Many cultivators at level nine of the Energy Gathering Realm hit a bottleneck which would take them several years or even over a decade before they could reach the Earth Realm. The difficulty of this process proved a wide gap of power and skill in between the two realms.

Normally, a cultivator of the Earth Realm could easily defeat a dozen rivals at level nine of the Energy Gathering Realm. However, Austin managed to defeat a cultivator of the Earth Realm, which was a marked exception from the norm.

'He is not a simple person!' Mindy thought to herself. Ever since she met Austin, she had continuously witnessed things beyond her expectation. It amazed her how fast Austin improved in his martial arts skills and how skilled he was at fighting. Now she was further shocked by the fact that he was able to kill a cultivator of the Earth Realm. Without any doubt in her mind, she believed that Austin would reach the top of the hierarchy in the near future.

With these things in her mind, Mindy couldn't help but think of how fortunate she was to become Austin's friend. A friend with such promise would only provide her with benefits in the future. With a knowing glint in her eyes, her gaze turned to Austin.

Austin didn't mention anything about Violet who had already returned into his Space Ring, and Mindy didn't ask him about that as well. Everyone had his or her own secret, and Mindy didn't think that their relationship was close enough to share everything with each other.

In the next two days, Austin and Mindy stayed near the Mysterious Ancient Well and waited for the twin blossoms to blossom.

The temperature around the well changed dramatically every 5 minutes. Extreme coldness and extreme heat could be felt alternately. They had to keep a distance from the well in order not to be affected by the strange fluctuating temperature.

An hour before the midnight of the third day, Mindy suddenly squealed.

"It's time to go into the well now. The twin blossoms are about to blossom!" Excitement was evident in her voice.

The exact moment she finished what she was saying, the air around the well became turbulent, and the change of temperature became irregular.

The extreme coldness spread out from inside the well so strongly that the stone edge of the well froze immediately. But before the ice grew thick, the temperature rose so fast that it quickly melted the ice and turned into vapor.

After that, icy winds blew and froze the water vapor again. On and on, the cycle continued.

As the temperature changed quickly between hot and cold, the scene around the well also changed magically. Both Austin and Mindy were taken aback by what they saw.

Seeing what was happening, both became worried about how going into the well would affect their bodies.

But nonetheless, since they were both fearless people who would never hesitate in the face of danger, they took a deep breath and got ready to enter the well.

"Let's go!"

Austin moved first and quickly approached the well. All at once, he was overwhelmed by the changing temperatures and had to stop and brace himself.

Gritting her teeth, Mindy followed him to the edge of the well. They looked into the darkness that they were about to jump into.

The width of the well was about the span of an adult's arms. Hot steam and frosty air swirled together, rising from inside the well, intertwined like twins coming out of their mother's womb.

With one swift motion, Austin leapt, and his body fell into the well. Closely behind him was Mindy, who jumped after Austin did.

As they dropped towards the bottom of the well, they both felt the wind getting both hotter and cooler.

When the hot wind hit them, it made them feel like they were in an oven. Both were sweating, and in a matter of seconds, their clothes and their hair started to catch on fire.

Then the cold air enveloped them. It quickly extinguished the fires on their clothes, and covered them in ice. It felt like they were in the middle of a blizzard. They started shivering violently, their teeth chattering.

After what seemed like forever, Austin and Mindy finally reached the bottom of the well.

Expecting nothing, the two were surprised at how marvelous the bottom of the well was. It was much wider than its entrance. It had a space of 30 to 40 square meters, and it was there where the cold and hot air were coming from and fighting, like they were trying to eliminate each other. Austin and Mindy felt either in a raging inferno or in the middle of a blizzard.

The ground was covered in dry, cracked mud, and at the center of the room was a small pool.

A vine with two stems was growing from it. One stem had a red flower, while the other one had a black one.

Austin thought the black flower must be the pure femininity blossom, and the red one must be the prime masculinity blossom.

Suddenly, a strong hot wind blew and it started burning Austin's clothes off.

Surprised, he turned to Mindy and saw that her clothes were also on fire.

In the blink of an eye, most of their clothes were burnt away.

After that, a surge of icy wind blew and that extinguished the fire on their clothes and once again covered them in frost.

Embarrassed of being half naked, Austin turned his back to Mindy and lowered his head.

However, he couldn't help but take a quick glance at the girl next to him. As he expected, her hourglass figure was partly revealed under her ragged clothes.

Mindy noticed Austin staring at her, and her cheeks quickly turned glowing red.

Despite her embarrassment, she was not in the least astounded. It seemed that she had already expected something like this.

Suddenly, something popped into Austin's mind. Mindy had acted shyly when she first mentioned the twin flowers to him. That time, he thought it was embarrassment from asking him for help, but now he realized that he might have been wrong. He wondered, 'Did she already know that things would go like this?'

"Austin, you will go and get the red flower—the prime masculinity blossom, and I will get the black one—the pure femininity blossom."

Mindy said as she tried hard to repress her shyness. After all, they had come here to get the twin blossoms.

Austin nodded in approval. They then moved towards their goals respectively at the same moment.

As they approached the plant, the hot and cold winds became more and more overwhelming.

It was then that Austin realized that the origins of the cold and hot winds were the two flowers in the pool. Both were ordinary-looking, but the power that they had amazed Austin.

When they were only several meters from the twin blossoms, Mindy suddenly let out a scream and stopped in her tracks. Her face went extremely pale, and her teeth chattered. Her body shivered like a quail in winter.

"What's the matter?"

Austin asked with concern.

"It's too cold for me. I couldn't approach it anymore."

Mindy replied with a shaky voice.
