The Vengeful Son-in-law novel Chapter 560

After walking for more than ten minutes, he arrived at a dark basement. Malcolm looked at a square-shaped object, which was forged from steel and was as big as a house!

Malcolm widened his eyes and said to Elliot, "Is Mr. Howard inside?"

Elliot nodded and said, "Yes, he has been in it for eleven days."

Malcolm asked. "You mean, there's no food, no water, no gaps for air. In a completely enclosed space, Mr. Howard stayed for eleven days?"

Elliot nodded awkwardly. He now felt the seriousness of the matter. When Tom told him about it that day, Tom looked relaxed, as if he was doing an easy thing. Since Elliot had a near-blind trust in Tom, he didn't think too much and did as Tom said.

However, after being reminded by Malcolm, he realized how wrong he was! No matter how powerful Tom was, he was still a human. As long as Tom was a human, he had to eat, drink, and poop. Most importantly, anyone had to breathe oxygen at all times. In this closed space, the oxygen was limited and could not support Tom's breathing for eleven days!

Malcolm scolded, "Old Wang! You did something wrong! No matter how powerful Mr. Howard is, he's still human. How can he survive for eleven days without eating, drinking, or breathing? You really think of him as a god!"

Elliot scolded. He said bitterly and flusteredly, "It's none of my business. It was Mr. Howard who asked me to do so..."

Suddenly, Malcolm thought of something. He opened his eyes wide and said, "Don't be afraid! Mr. Howard's martial arts are superb. Even a room made of steel can't shut him down. Maybe Mr. Howard has come out now."

Elliot said with a bitter smile, "I'm afraid not. The room was designed and built by Mr. Howard himself. It's more than a meter thick. Even if the machine gun can't be shot through. No matter how powerful Mr. Howard is, he can't come out of it."

After hearing that, the corner of Malcolm's mouth twitched violently. He glared at Elliot fiercely and scolded, "Old Wang, I really want to slap you twice. Why didn't you tell me such a big issue? Have you ever thought about what would happen to us if something really happened to Mr. Howard?"

Thinking of that scene, Elliot's face turned paler and his body began to tremble.

Malcolm looked very unpleasant. He said in a low voice, "Let's stop talking nonsense. Open the door quickly. Maybe Mr. Howard will survive in there!"

He said so, but he was pessimistic about it. In his opinion, Tom probably died inside.

Soon, Elliot trembled and opened the iron door. Because the iron door was very heavy, it could not be opened with Elliot and Malcolm's strength. They had to make use of the machine next to him to open the door.

"The door opened..."

Elliot said and swallowed his saliva.

Malcolm also nodded. Then they looked inside. It was very dark, and they vaguely saw a figure sitting cross-legged inside, motionless. It was Tom.

Malcolm sniffed but he didn't smell anything. He breathed a sigh of relief. If Tom died inside, then the body must have started to stink by now.

He didn't dare to rush in immediately, but asked softly, "Mr. Howard, are you okay?"

There was no reply.

Elliot also began to say, "Mr. Howard, you have been inside for eleven days. I came to let you out."

There was still no sound.

Their hearts thumped and they looked at each other, seeing the uneasiness in each other's eyes.

Oh no. Something happened to Mr. Howard!

Just as the two rushed in towards Tom, their heads were numb. Suddenly, Tom spoke.

"Eleven days. How fast..."

Tom said emotionally. It seemed that he had gone through a lot.

Hearing this voice, the two people suddenly stopped, they suddenly looked excited, surprised and a strange feeling occurred in their hearts. It seemed that it was not Tom who was inside. Because that voice just now was too vicissitudes. To them, it sounded like an old man who had lived for hundreds of years, not their junior!

In the past, Tom had a great aura, but he had never given them this feeling, as if they were facing not their superiors, but the elders of the family.

"Well..."

They looked at each other again and saw the shock and doubt in each other's eyes.

Next, Tom moved. With his toes working hard, he stood up and walked towards Elliot and Malcolm. And every step he took, he made a cracking sound, like fried beans. It seemed that he was being reborn.

When they came out of the iron room, Elliot, Malcolm and Tom looked at each other, as if they were in the middle of the afternoon sun, and their eyes would burst into tears.

So they immediately lowered their heads and did not dare to look at Tom. They were shocked and amazed. How could Tom's eyes shine?

When they looked up again at Tom, they found that Tom was not dazzling. But immediately, they found something different about Tom. Tom was obviously taller than before! It seemed that there were four or five centimeters more for them to look up to Tom.

They subconsciously looked at Tom's feet, only to find that Tom was not wearing stilettos. Tom came out barefoot.

"Mr. Howard, are you okay?" Malcolm swallowed his saliva and asked carefully. He found that Tom seemed to be more dignified than before. He could feel Tom's overwhelming aura all the time, as if he was facing a mountain soaring into the sky.

Elliot felt the same way.

Seeing their reaction, Tom smiled and said, "Did anything unusual happen in the past eleven days?"

Elliot and Malcolm shook their heads and said no.

Then Tom bypassed them and left the basement.

Elliot and Malcolm had no choice but to leave. Anyway, Tom was alive and well, so they breathed a sigh of relief.

Next, Tom took a shower, changed into a new suit, and went to have a meal. Apart from his height, everything else seemed to be the same. Elliot and Malcolm didn't know what happened inside. Was he stronger than before?

There was less than a day left before the Colorful Fruit of Essence matured. After Tom finished eating, he immediately called Phoebe and told her that he was back.

However, when he called Phoebe, he didn't hear Phoebe's voice.
