I did not say anything. Cecilia did not know about the baby yet.

“When are we leaving? I will need to hand over the shop to someone else first.” She had waited a long time for this day, and now she was full of anticipation.

“Soon. When I am done with what I need to do the three of us will leave for a brand new city together and start over.” Since I had already made up my mind, I did not want to delay any

longer. The sooner we settled this, the better.
