A shot rang out.

With a gunshot, one of the Duncans' bodyguards fell in a pool of blood, and the other one's face changed slightly, still protecting Pearl.

Pearl's face was pale. It was the first time she saw someone take out a gun. Seeing that person was aiming at the bodyguard who was protecting her, she said at once, "I'm the one you want. Let them go!"

These were all people of the Duncans, she did not want them to die because of her.

Moreover, Pearl seemed to have understood the identities of these people. She believed that they had been waiting for her for more than a day and they happened to have a chance today.

Jovanny grabbed Pearl, held the gun against her, took her to their vehicle, and turned to shoot another bodyguard.

Jovanny shot the bodyguard in his arm.

He was just about to aim at Pearl's driver, Vance but found that he was gone.

"He's nobody. Forget it, let's go!"
