Ella sent Sum a message on WeChat, "Mr. Sum, I'm not feeling very well today. May I file for a leave?"

Without a hint of embarrassment, Eason calmly watched Samuel sweet-talk on the phone before hanging up.

He gestured to the nearby sofa, suggesting to companion to take a seat.
