As Ella's bag and phone were all lost, Samuel took her to buy a new bag and phone at the mall after dinner.

Ella stared at Samuel to find out if he didn't like her selection. His expression was not impatient but relaxed.

Ella was relieved that he liked it.

Then they went back to the villa after shopping.

With central heating always on, the room was warm even in winter. Ella went looking for Samuel after she took a shower.

After checking the calendar, she realised that she was at the beginning of her ovulation period.

Ella decided to do that. She put down the phone and applied the moisturiser that was on the dressing table.

She even sprayed her favorite perfume, a faint rosy smell, sent by Lola from Bulgaria.

It was extremely expensive and she liked it. Although she didn't like using it, For her dear Samuel, she would do anything that made him smile. And he did like the smell of the perfume. Ella smirked and walked towards the study room.

Ella opened the door and looked inside carefully.

Samuel was on the phone when Ella came in. He knew it was her.

Ella opened and closed the door quietly. She wanted to surprise him, and so put her hands over his eyes.

Ella didn't know Samuel was smiling. He held her hand and pulled her into his arms.

He kissed her hair and took in her scent, smelling that rose-scented perfume that he liked.

"Yeah, I know. I'll contact you tomorrow." Samuel didn't want her to overhear what he was talking about, so he hung up.

Ella put her arms around his waist.

"Samuel!" She said gently in a shy voice.

Samuel let her sit on his legs.

He smelled and played with her hair. "You smell good." Ella was usually fragrant, but tonight, she smelled divine.

She kissed his lips softly.

Samuel sat still and thought, what a beautiful and attractive woman she was.

From the look in her eyes, Samuel knew where the night was heading. He hugged Ella tightly, and savoured the moment, Trying to fight away the thoughts of what had happened to her. She deserved his carefulness.

Samuel held her in his arms and walked towards the bedroom.

Both Samuel and Ella were affectionate and passionate that night.

Ella woke up at lunch time the next day, in a pleasant mood.

She had one goal, to ask Sum what he was doing in the hotel.

His answer was a deciding factor as to whether they would continue being friends.

At Samuel's Law Office

In Catherine's Office

Catherine closed the door of her office. She said in a low voice. "What?" "Samuel has already launched an investigation..." Catherine spoke through the phone, a little nervous.

"Whatever it takes. You must ruin the surveillance video. No shred of evidence. Let no-one find the video, understood?" She grasped the handrail of her sofa, her heart beating quickly.

She couldn't be found out. She couldn't make this mistake.

Although Sum didn't rape Ella, Catherine deemed that Samuel didn't believe Ella at all.

"Okay, give the two men who kidnapped them, a large sum of money. Instruct them to go to Mando Bay."

"They can't hide in Mando Bay?" The voice on the other end of the phone reflected her nervousness. "Then let them go abroad as far as possible and kill them when its necessary."

No evidence could be left. Catherine had no idea that Samuel could launch an investigation so quickly.

She underestimated his power and his connections.

She thought he was only a rich lawyer.

But she loved such a powerful man.

Ella wore a black feather jacket and waited for Sum in a inconspicuous seat.

Sum was relieved to hear her response. He loosened his tie and leant against the sofa.
