Trapped with a Lawyer novel Chapter 124

Anna thought for a while and decided not to tell Ella what she had overheard in Samuel's office.

"It doesn't matter. Tell me what exactly happened. I am so worried."

"Nothing serious. I just got kidnapped and taken to a hotel. But don't worry I was rescued soon." A thought suddenly came to her mind. Wait! Why me and Sum though? Only a few people knew about my relationship with Sum, Ella thought to herself.

Ella was more and more certain that it was either Catherine and Emma that conspired to kidnap her.

"Emma must have seen me with Sum, so my assumption is very likely to be true." Ella thought some more. It was beginning to make sense.

"Did you get hurt?"

"No. I am unscathed."

Hearing that Ella was fine, Anna was relieved, so she changed the subject.

"I'm going to France in a couple of days." Anna said as she blushed.

Ella squinted at Anna with a smile, "Is it my brother...?"

Anna nodded and explained with pride, "I didn't plan to promise him this. But he threatened to..."

"Oh, really... I didn't expect that my brother would be able to persuade you to go to France. Good for him! By the way, Anna, you'd better have my brother under your control as soon as possible, or he will screw around with other women." Ella said while clasping Anna's arm excitedly.

Ella and Anna were chatting while enjoying the sights outside.

After a while, Ella said with a smirk, "If Catherine goes to Samuel's office in the future, please call me and tell her she needs my permission first." Since she was his wife, Ella thought she had the right to make such a request.

As for Samuel, Ella had decided to give him the silent treatment for a few days.

Anna was on Ella's side so she agreed with Ella without hesitation.

Anna went back to work after exchanging a "goodbye" with Ella.

Seconds after she sat down, her telephone rang. It was Samuel. Anna walked into Samuel's office, "Mr. Shao, how can I help?"

Samuel, who was bending over his work, glanced at Anna, "Please buy me a drink that can sober me up"

"Yes, Mr. Shao."

"what's your smile for?" Noticing Anna's smiling face, Samuel raised his head again and asked.

What Anna said next made Samuel regret that he didn't chase after Ella.

"I was chatting with Ella. She just left." They had quiet a long conversation.

At Anna's words, Samuel displayed a long face. Ella, how dare you!

Samuel's poker face frightened Anna. "Did I say something wrong? Why dose Mr. Shao look angry?" Anna was confused.

"Oh, I see. You can go get me the drink now." Samuel said as he tried to make himself sound as normal as possible.

After work, Samuel sent Catherine to the Chuck Hospital. A doctor checked Catherine's left arm and leg, that Ella had kicked.

Luckily, Catherine had just suffered some skin trauma. Nothing serious. Then a nurse compressed Catherine's cheek with ice.

After sending Catherine home, Samuel drove directly to the Chuck's old house.

Stepping into the living room, Samuel saw Ella was amusing Jerry by dancing. Samuel smirked, he knew Ella would definitely be in the Chuck's old house.

Samuel fed Jerry while chatting with Melody when they had dinner later on, as he usually did.

Later that night, after taking Jerry to sleep, Samuel walked back to his and Ella's bedroom. But he found the bedroom door was locked.

Hearing Samuel knocking the door, Ella, stood behind the door, not wanting to open it.

She wasn't letting Samuel get into the room easily. If I hadn't gone to Samuel's company today, Samuel might have had sex with Catherine. This thought made Ella get upset.

Samuel knew Ella could hear him knocking, "Ella. I will count to three. Either you open the door or I..."

...

Jerk! Ella wanted to scream out.

"One, two..."

Crack. The door was opened. Samuel smirked in triumph. He always had various ways to deal with Ella.

Ella glared at Samuel, turned around to pick her pyjamas from the bed and then walked towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Samuel asked.

"You are dirty. I don't want to sleep with you. I'm going to sleep with grandma." Ella turned around and glared at Samuel.

Samuel's eyes widened. "How could this woman say I am dirty?" he thought.

Samuel didn't plan to let go of Ella. "If only Ella would be as proactive as last night!" he thought.

He scooted close to Ella, held her in his arms, taking her scent in. "I have thrown away the clothes I was wearing today, as well as the bedsheets and bed sack in the office. Are you satisfied with that?"

"No!" Ella replied loudly without any hesitation.

Samuel knew it was not easy to coax Ella. He promised Ella, "I won't drink anymore!" Samuel wasn't himself when he was drunk.

It was fortunate that Ella had showed up in time that day or else he didn't know what would have happened. He shuddered at the thought.

"How would Samuel be able to abstain from drinking? He is a businessman and has a lot of dinner engagements that he attends, where alcohol is in plenty." Ella thought.

"You don't have to do that. But you need to report to me before drinking!" Considering Samuel was sincere enough, Ella decided to forgive him.

"Yes Madam! Now my problem is settled. How about your problem?" "My problem?" Ella muttered to herself.

Ella pushed Samuel away, sat down on the bed and asked, "What problem?" "Am I too soft-hearted?

Samuel tortured me for the whole night after he saw Sum kissing me.

No. I won't let go of Samuel that easily." Ella was lost in thought.

"Ah!" Ella cried. Samuel pushed Ella down on the bed and laid on top of her.

"You need to compensate me for what you did to me in the office today." Ella pushed Samuel aside, sat up

And pretended to be serious, "Samuel, you can't do that!" Ella acted like she was an elder edifying a youth.

Samuel arched his eyebrows and said, "Go ahead."

"As a man, you need to learn how to rein in your desire lest you should wear yourself out."

...

Samuel squinted at Ella. "... I can't let you indulge yourself." Ella continued. What a ridiculous excuse!

"Are you done with your speech?"

"Yes!"

When she finished speaking, Samuel pushed Ella down and laid on her again, "Give birth to ten babies for me first, then I'll consider your advice."

...

"Wait! I forget an important thing." Ella suddenly thought about what she had seen today.

She pushed Samuel aside again and patted Samuel's hand excitedly, "I am going to tell you something. It's quiet disgusting!"

Samuel rolled his eyes, "Then don't." Then he tried to lay back on Ella again.

Ella tried to stop him, but she failed. Samuel was much more stronger than her.

"Today, I saw a live show!" Hearing Ella's words, Samuel frowned and stopped unfastening Ella's buttons.

"It's disgusting indeed. But that's not the point. The point was there must a man in the show!"
