Triplets on Secret Mission novel Chapter 48

Chapter 48 ‘How pretentious!’ Diana cursed in her head as she watched Molly offering her hospitality. She found Molly utterly shameless to the point where she would use her children to impress Grandpa Dave. Diana obviously would not let go of this opportunity as well. At that moment, Diana decided to be a wet blanket and ruin the wholesome picture by apologizing to Grandpa Dave. “Sorry, Grandpa! This is my fault. I made you fall because I was careless. It’s all because I desperately wanted you to stay. Please forgive me. Also, Grandpa and Molly, don’t worry. I won’t… go to the May Residence that often anymore. I’ll know my place.”

She then bowed down to them after she was done speaking. Though she went all out on her acting, her tone sounded like she was weeping as if Grandpa Dave and Molly were the villains.

Grandpa Dave was still grinning before he saw her. He immediately turned cold and said, “You don’t have to apologize to me. I’ve already made my decision anyway. I won’t return to the May Residence anymore, so you can go there whenever you want. Even if you want to stay there, you won’t be a bother to me.”

He immediately looked away after speaking, unwilling to spare Diana another glance.

Diana’s face turned white in an instant.

Walter frowned and responded right away, “Dad! What are you saying? Where will you live if you don’t come back to the May Residence? People will think we don’t care about you if you do this. They’ll think we chase you out.”

It was obvious that Walter only cared about how they were perceived by others.

“I’m obviously going to live with my granddaughter,” Grandpa Dave said without the slightest hesitation.

Lara snickered and said in a sarcastic tone, “How nice would her place be? In the end, you’ll be the one who would pity her and transfer your shares under her name. Giving her another house wouldn’t be a problem as well.”

Another string of knocks on the door was heard after Lara said that. Everyone looked over and saw Sean and Tony standing on the other side of the door.

Sean’s expression was cold. He was sitting in his wheelchair, but his presence was not lacking at all. Everyone’s eyes immediately glued onto him when he appeared.

“Excuse me. We’re here to see Ms. May,” Tony smiled politely as he spoke. ‘Why are they here?’ Molly looked at the both of them with a confused look.

Before she could speak, Nathan, Walter, and Adam were all stunned! They had obviously recognized the person outside that door.

That was Sean Anderson!

The Anderson family’s status was nowhere near the May family or the Herring family in

Northfolk They were the blueprint of a wealthy family. On top of that, Sean was known for his capability and tactics. The three of them could not hide their shock as they thought, ‘Why is this man here?’

But they quickly recollected themselves and realized that Sean’s assistant had just mentioned that they were here to see Ms. Molly!

At the very next second, they looked at Diana almost instinctively.

Adam looked rather suspicious, while Nathan frowned. They were both wondering, ‘The two of them don’t look like they have any connections with each other. Something is off.’ But Walter was elated as someone from the Anderson family actually went to see Diana, which implied that they share a special relationship. Walter had never heard any rumors about Sean throughout the years as Sean had never gotten close with a woman. ‘If my daughter managed to get closer with Sean…’ “Diana, is Mr. Anderson looking for you? When did you get to know Mr. Anderson?” Walter could not wait to ask Diana. His eyes were filled with anticipation as he waited for Diana to nod and respond with a “yes.” 1
